Die Erfindung betrifft ein Befestigungselement für einen Heizkörper, insbesondere für einen Badezimmerheizkörper mit vertikalen Sammelrohren und horizontal dazu angeordneten Heizrohren. Bei derartigen Heizkörpern wird häufig der Abstand zwischen zwei horizontalen Heizrohren als Verbindungsstelle für die Befestigungselemente zur Befestigung des Heizkörpers an einer Wand genutzt. Begründet ist das durch den sich daraus ergebenden, einfach zu realisierenden Toleranzausgleich des Befestigungssystems in horizontaler Richtung und das einfache Anbringen derartiger Befestigungselemente am Heizkörper ohne zusätzliche fest mit dem Heizkörper verbundenen Elemente, wie beispielsweise Laschen, Gewindehülsen oder dergleichen. Derartige Befestigungsvorrichtungen sind beispielsweise in der EP 0 86 931 B1 beschrieben. Ringe usw. sind ebenfalls denkbar.
