- A handle (66) which has at least one holding plate which can be mounted in an opening (12) in a thin wall (614) such as a sheet-metal cabinet door, with a head part (3228), such as a flange or olive-shaped handle, which, after mounting, overlaps the outer edge or rim (40) of the opening (12) of the thin wall (14, 614) on one, outer, side thereof, and a body part (30, 630) which proceeds from the head part and which, after mounting, reaches through the opening (12) in the thin wall (14), and with a holding part (628) which is borne by the body part (30, 630), and which is supported on the other, rear, side of the thin wall (14), and which is separate from the body part (30, 630), wherein the holding part (628) is formed by holding elements (628) which project in a flexible manner from the body part (630) in the direction of its outer surface and of which the free end has an inclined surface (38) for supporting the body part (30, 630) on the edge or rim (40) of the opening (12) without play, wherein, at the end of the body part (630) which reaches through the opening, there is held a substantially U-shaped spring which is supported by its leg ends on the inner rim (40) of the opening (12), characterised in that the spring (628) represents a flat component, with U-legs which are truncated at the end substantially at right angles to the progression of the U-legs, such that after mounting they are supported on the opening edge or rim (40) by a slight incline to the plane of the thin wall (14, 614), and that the U-base forms a substantially M-shaped or W-shaped line, and that the spring (628) is held inside a channel (76) held by the body part (624).
- The handle according to Claim 1, characterised in that the U-base of the spring (628) is held by a projection (79) or pin proceeding from the body part (630).
- The handle according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the channels (77) have such a width that a package of several flat springs (628) lying next to one another can be received.
- The handle according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the outer cross-section of the body part (630) and the associated opening (12) in the thin wall (14, 614) are rectangular.
- The handle according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the body part (630) represents an elongate rectangle and forms a head (618) with a finger grip or handle.
- The handle according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the body part forms an elongate or substantially equal-sided rectangle and that the distance between the bearing surface of the flange-like head part (618) and the bearing surface of the spring end (644) is enlarged such that two thin walls (614) are connected to one another.
- The handle according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the body part forms an elongate or substantially equal-sided rectangle and the associated head part is the support point for one end of a handle.
- The handle according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the spring has a thickness of 0.5 to 0.8mm.
