Abstract

The invention relates to a cigarette body for a smoke-free cigarette, said cigarette body (12) being cylindrical and comprising an air inlet on one end thereof and an air outlet on the other end thereof, an air channel connecting the air inlet to the air outlet, and a heating device (26) for heating air flowing through the air channel. The inventive cigarette body can be arranged on the end of a cylindrical mouthpiece (10), with the air outlet side thereof, said mouthpiece containing a recess (58) for tobacco and a suction opening (18) arranged in such a way that the tobacco is volatilised by heated air flowing through the air channel as a result of low pressure applied to a suction opening of the mouthpiece, and flows out of the suction opening together with the air. The inventive cigarette body is characterised in that the radially outwardly facing surface of the body (24) contains a material which is thermally insulated from inside, said material surrounding a heat conductor consisting of a thermally conductive material that can be accessed via the air inlet and is directly arranged on the tobacco recess (38), with the end thereof opposing the air inlet.

Description

  • The invention relates to a smoke-free cigarette according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • In the DE 103 21 379 A1 , is based on the preamble of claim 1, a smoke-free cigarette is described, the reusable cigarette body is formed with a thermo-plastic jacket with vapor-deposited, heat-reflecting coating and a heating source, which is introduced into the jacket so that air flow channels arise. A non-reusable mouthpiece contains a nicotine aroma depot and a filter. Heat released by the heat source heats the air aspirated by a consumer through the air flow channels, which heats the nicotine aroma depot, thus releasing the depot's nicotine and flavorants that are taken up by the consumer or smoker after passing the filter.   • The invention has for its object to provide a cost-effective and easy to handle way, with the smoker not on the intense enjoyment of nicotine or a stimulant with a flavor that is similar, for example, the conventional cigarettes, and do not have the environment by the smoker is impaired.
  • This object is achieved with a cigarette body according to claim 1.
  • The inventive, reusable cigarette body that does not contain its own heat source is inexpensive and allows heating of the heat pipe rapid heating of the stimulant of sufficient duration.
  • The dependent claims 2 to 5 are directed to advantageous developments of the cigarette body according to the invention.
  • The claim 6 characterizes the cigarette according to the invention as a whole, which is further developed with the features of claims 7 to 10 in an advantageous manner.
  • The claims 11 to 13 characterize an assembly with an adapter, with which a cigarette according to the invention can be connected to a heat source.
  • In forming the assembly according to claim 12, a smoke-free cigarette according to the invention can be handled in a manner similar to a conventional cigarette. Especially The "lighting" of the cigarette with a lighter is a psychological component that resembles the usual handling of a conventional cigarette that is actually in the state of a smoldering fire.
  • With the invention, a possibility is created to maintain the subjective pleasure components of conventional cigarette smoking and in particular to avoid the pollution of the environment associated with conventional smoking. The cigarette according to the invention can be "lit" or put into operation, like a conventional cigarette, by putting it into operation with a lighter. The heat generated by the lighter causes evaporation or dissolution of the luxury foodstuff deposited in the luxury food depot, for example nicotine with aromatic substances, which enjoyment is quickly enjoyable and can be enjoyed intensively. This enjoyment lacks the harmful substances of conventional smoking, such as tar and combustion products.   • The overall cylindrical mouthpiece 10 consists of known per se filter material, as used for example for the filter mouthpieces of conventional cigarettes. An end face of the mouthpiece 10 is designed as a suction opening 18. The side facing away from the suction port 18 end face of the mouthpiece 10 is formed with a hollow cylindrical recess 20.   • The cigarette body 12 has a cylindrical shell or body 24 made of thermally insulating material, for example a ceramic material, which contains a heat pipe 26 of thermally highly conductive material, such as copper. The according to Fig. 1 left end of the heat pipe 26 protrudes from the body 24, wherein the outer contour of the protruding portion 28 corresponds approximately to the contour of the recess 20.   • The right-side end of the body 24 forms, together with the opening of the heat pipe 26, an air inlet opening which is connected to an air inlet formed by the left-side end of the heat pipe 26 by means of an air passageway formed through the interior of the heat pipe 26.
  • The cigarette body 12 forms together with the mouthpiece 10, for example, a dummy whose appearance corresponds to that of a conventional filter cigarette.
  • The adapter 14, which is formed for example as a whole as a sheet metal part, according to Fig. 1 on the left side a sleeve 34 which has an insertion opening 36 for insertion of the according to Fig. 1 right end portion of the cigarette body 12 forms. At a distance from the sleeve 34, the adapter 14 is formed with an insert member 38, for example, two upwardly bent arms 40 (in Fig. 1 is only one visible), which are not closed to a complete sleeve, but are resiliently spreadable.
  • Between the sleeve 34 and the insert member 38, a bimetallic plate 42 is formed, which assumes the illustrated approximately axially parallel position at normal room temperature and bends upward when heated, so that it closes the sleeve 34.
  • A per se known lighter, as it is usable for a smoke-free cigarette according to the invention is in Fig. 2 sketched and designated 44 overall. The lighter 44 has a body 46 in which fuel, such as LPG, is received. In a projection 48 of the body 46, a burner nozzle is arranged, which is supplied through air passages 50 air, so that after switching on the lighter by means of a handle 52, a sharp flame in the manner of the flame 54 from the projection 48 advances. The function of the components described is the following:
  • The mouthpiece 10 is coated on the inside of the recess 20 with a volatile stimulant 58, for example nicotine mixed with fragrances and / or flavorings. In the delivery state, the mouthpiece 10 is enclosed for example by a plastic film, so that the stimulant 58 can not evaporate. After removal of the plastic film, the mouthpiece 10 is attached to the projecting portion 28 of the cigarette body 12, so that an assembly is formed, which has the appearance of a conventional cigarette (mouthpiece with cigarette body).
  • To "ignite" this is in accordance with Fig. 1 right end of the cigarette body 12 is inserted into the insertion opening 36 of the adapter 14.   • The invention can be modified in many ways. For example, the mouthpiece 10 does not necessarily contain filter material. The recess 20 may be formed in the cigarette body 12, so that the mouthpiece is formed with a corresponding projection. The body 24 and the heat pipe 26 may be integrally formed with each other by the shell is formed, for example, as a laminated body, which consists of a material of high thermal conductivity with the highest possible heat capacity and outside of a material with low thermal conductivity.   • As a stimulant liquids or powders can be used, which are introduced into the recess 20 and with which a part of the mouthpiece is coated or impregnated. Claims (13)

  1. A cigarette body for a smokeless cigarette, said cigarette body (12) comprising a cylindrical body (24) having an air inlet opening on its one face side and an air outlet opening on its other face side, an air passage connecting the air inlet opening with the air outlet opening, and a heating device (26) for heating the air flowing through the air passage, and being attachable to a face side of a cylindrical mouth piece (10) with its face side that is formed with the air outlet opening, said mouth piece comprising a storage for a stimulant (58) and being formed with a suction opening (18), so that the stimulant vaporizes due to heated air flowing through the air passage as a result of negative pressure that is applied to a suction opening of the mouth piece, and leaves the suction opening together with the air,
    characterized in that the body (24) comprises a heat conductor (26) that is made of a thermally well-conductive material and axially crosses said body, said heat conductor being accessible via the air inlet opening at one axial end of the body, and being in heat-transmitting contact with the stimulant (58) at the other axial end of the body, wherein the body is configured such that its radially outward directed surface is thermally insulated from the head conductor (26).

An assembly comprising a cigarette (10, 12) according to one of claims 6 to 10 and an adapter for connecting the face side of a cigarette body according to one of claims 1 to 5 of the cigarette, which face side is formed with an air inlet opening, to a heat source (44), characterized in an insertion opening (36) for inserting the end portion of the cigarette body (12), which end portion is formed with the air inlet opening, and an insertion component (38) for connecting the adapter (14) to the heat source (44) such that the heat conductor (26) can be heated by the heat source (44).
  12. The assembly according to claim 11, characterized in that the insertion component (38) is adapted to be connected to a lighter (44) so that a flame heated by the lighter can heat an end portion of the heat conductor (26), which end portion faces said flame.
