Wärmetauscher (1) zur Abgaskühlung für ein Kraftfahrzeug mit zumindest einem Strömungskanal (21) zur Durchströmung mit einem ersten Medium, mit zumindest einem Boden (3, 63) mit zumindest einer Bodentiefe (t), der zur Aufnahme des zumindest einen Strömungskanals (21) dient, wobei der zumindest eine Boden (3, 63) und der zumindest eine Strömungskanal (21) auf einer Verbindungstiefe (t) des Bodens (3, 63) stoffschlüssig miteinander verbunden sind, wobei die Verbindungstiefe (t) kleiner als die Bodentiefe (T) ist und der zumindest eine Boden (3, 63) zumindest eine Verjüngungsvorrichtung (36, 37) zur Verjüngung der Bodentiefe im Bereich der Verbindung des zumindest einen Bodens (3, 63) mit dem zumindest einen Strömungskanal (21) aufweist.
