Hierbei wird die aus der jeweils gereinigten Mülltonne ablaufende und verschmutzte Reinigungsflüssigkeit durch eine Filtereinrichtung von ihren Grobbestandteilen befreit und anschließend wenigstens teilweise im Kreislauf wieder verwendet.
Die Reinigung des Schmutzwassers in einer einzigen Filtereinrichtung kann vorzugsweise nur auf Grobbestandteile gerichtet sein. Eine Wiederverwendung mechanisch grob gereinigten Schmutzwassers im Kreislauf ist sehr problematisch, da dies nach vorliegenden Erfahrungen in relativ kurzer Zeit zu einer Keimvermehrung und -ausbreitung führt, die den gesamten Prozess zu einer gesundheitsgefährdenden Einrichtung werden lassen.
Sollten in einer einzigen Filtereinrichtung sämtliche Verschmutzungen des Wassers eliminiert werden sollen, wäre diese Einrichtung sehr groß und in mehreren Stufen zu konzipieren und damit sehr teuer und unhandlich auf einem Fahrzeug unterzubringen.

Die Wasserreinigung sieht dabei mindestens einen Klärschritt vor, der nach Freigabe des Containers mindestens teilweise während der Fahrt des Fahrzeuges in mindestens einer Sedimentationsstation durchgeführt wird, die einen Klärbehälter mit Sammler aufweist. Der Sammler ist dabei am Boden der Sedimentationsstation angeordnet und gibt den abgezogenen Schlamm an einen Sammelbehälter ab. Das Schmutzwasser wird vor seiner Klärung mit Flockungsmitteln versetzt. Der Schlamm wird nach Erreichen eines vorgegebenen Niveaus aus dem Sammelbehälter abgezogen und mittels einer Filterpresse schlammentwässert.
Weiterhin weist dieses Mülltonnen-Reinigungsfahrzeug für den Überlauf der Sedimentationsstation, die Durchleitung des Wassers durch eine Entbakterisierungsstation auf, die zwischen der Reinigungseinheit und dem Behälter zwischengeschaltet ist. Diese Entbakterisierungsstation umfasst mindestens eine UVC-Lampe.

Die Waschkammer 6 weist in ihrem unteren Bereich den Ablauftrichter 7 mit Grobfilter 8 und Abzug 9 sowie Tauchpumpe 10 auf.
Über die Leitung 11 wird das von Grobbestandteilen gereinigte Schmutzwasser der Mülltonnenreinigung in den Pufferbehälter 12 geleitet, wo ein Absetzen verbliebener Schwebstoffe und wahlweise eine UV-Bestrahlung stattfindet. Der Pufferbehälter 12 weist ebenfalls einen Abzug 13 für die Schwebstoffe auf, der nach Erreichen eines maximalen Niveaustandes an einer Entsorgungsstelle betätigt wird.

Aus dem Pufferbehälter gelangt das Schmutzwasser in den Reinigungsbehälter 14, der ein nicht dargestelltes Feinsieb für das Entfernen von Feinbestandteilen der Größenordnung 1µ und 100µ aufweist und wo wahlweise eine weitere UV-Bestrahlung stattfindet. Der Abzug der Feinbestandteile erfolgt durch einen im Boden des Behälters angeordneten Kugelhahn.
Nach der Feinreinigung wird das gereinigte Wasser zur Entkeimung in eine Aufbereitungsanlage 15 geleitet, in der die eigentliche UV-Bestrahlung mittels UV-Tauchlampen und/oder ggf. eine nochmalige Feinreinigung mittels eines nicht dargestellten Membranfilters durchgeführt wird.
Nachdem das Wasser gereinigt und vollständig entkeimt wurde, wird es über Leitung 16 mittels einer ebenfalls nicht dargestellten weiteren Pumpe in den Brauchwasserbehälter 17 gefördert, aus welchem es über die Leitung 18 bedarfsweise zur Heißwasseraufbereitungsanlage 19 gepumpt wird. In dieser Anlage wird das Wasser je nach Bedarf auf 50 bis 70°C, vorzugsweise anteilig wenigstens zeitweilig ca.10 Minuten auf 63°C erhitzt, um einen Legionellenbefall zu verhindern. Auch wird ein Teil der Bakterien und Keime bei dieser Temperatur schon abgetötet. Aus der Heißwasseraufbereitungsanlage 19 gelangt das erhitzte Wasser je nach Bedarf zum Düsenträger 4 und zu den Spülköpfen 5.
In der Waschkammer 6 ist mittels seitlicher Befestigungen 21 die schwenkbare Düsenvorrichtung 20 angeordnet, die in Längsrichtung teleskopartig ausfahrbar ist, um sich der jeweiligen Tonnenform besser anpassen zu können (Figur 2; 3). Durch diese Düsenvorrichtung 20, die vorzugsweise gebogen bis halbkreisförmig als Düsenbalken ausgebildet ist, aber auch winklig ausgeführt sein kann, ist es möglich, zusätzlich zur Innenreinigung eine optimale Außenreinigung der Tonnen inklusive deren gesamten Deckel auszuführen. Die schwenkbare Düsenbalkenvorrichtung 20 zur Außenreinigung wird ebenfalls mit Kreislaufwasser aus dem Brauchwasserbehälter 17 bzw. aus dem Heißwasserbehälter 19 versorgt.
Die Kippvorrichtung 2 weist mindestens einen, vorzugsweise zwei Saugnäpfe bei Plastiktonnen und/oder mindestens einen, vorzugsweise zwei Magneten bei Metalltonnen auf, die mit mindestens einem Stützhaken zum besseren Fixieren der Tonnen kombiniert sein können.
