Abstract

Flüssigkeitsgekühlter Zylinderkopf (1) für eine Brennkraftmaschine, mit einer ersten und einer zweiten, benachbart zueinander angeordneten abschnittsweise ineinander übergehende, von einem Kühlmittelkanal (2) umgebenen Auslasskänalwandung (3, 4) für zwei Auslassgaswechselventile, wobei beabstandet von einem einlassseitigen, von den Auslasskanalwandungen (3, 4) gebildeter Zwicketbereich (5) ein zumindest teilweise von einem Kühlmittelkanal (2) umgebener Dom (6) angeordnet ist für ein weitgehend mittig zu einem von dem Zylinderkopf (1) abgedeckten Brennraum anordenbares Brennkraftrnaschinenbauteil und wobei der Kühlmittelkanal (2) eine erste, weitgehend mittig zwischen der ersten und der zweiten Auslasskanalwandung (3, 4) angeordnete Einströmöffnung (2') und eine zweite und eine dritte, von der ersten Einströmöffnung (2') beabstandete Einströmöffnung (2", 2''') in einer Zylinderkopftrennebene (1') aufweist und sich ausgehend von der ersten Einströmöffnung (2') weitgehend über den Brennraum und zwischen der ersten und der zweiten Auslasskanalwandung (3, 4) in Richtung Dom (6) erstreckt und ausgehend von der zweiten und der dritten Einströmöffnung (2", 2''') weitgehend über den Brennraum und radial um die erste und die zweite Auslasskanalwandung (3, 4) in Richtung Dom (6) erstreckt und ausgehend von dem Dom (6) in Richtung Einlassseite des Zylinderkopfes (1) erstreckt und wobei in dem Zwickelbereich (5) eine erste sich in Richtung Dom (6) erstreckende Strömungsleitrippe (7) angeordnet ist.
Durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung wird eine wesentlich verbesserte Kühlung des Doms (6) erzielt.
