Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Antriebsvorrichtung (10) für ein landwirtschaftliches oder industrielles Nutzfahrzeug. Die Antriebsvorrichtung (10) umfasst einen Verbrennungsmotor (12), einen Kühler (14) eines Kühlkreislaufs (16), einen Generator (18) und einen Lüfter (20). Mit dem Lüfter (20) ist Luft durch den Kühler (14) bewegbar. Der Lüfter (20) ist benachbart zum Kühler (14) angeordnet. Der Lüfter (20), der Verbrennungsmotor (12) und der Kühler (14) sind in einem Motorraum (15) angeordnet. Der Generator (18) ist vom Verbrennungsmotor (12) mechanisch antreibbar. Der Generator (18) ist von einer anderen als der dem Kühler (14) zugewandten Seite des Verbrennungsmotors (12) mechanisch antreibbar. Mit dem Generator (18) ist elektrische Energie erzeugbar. Des Weiteren betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Antriebsvorrichtung (10). Der Lüfter (20) soll mit einer Drehzahl betreibbar sein, welche den momentanen Anforderungen an die Kühlleistung des Kühlers (14) bzw. des Kühlsystems (16) des Verbrennungsmotors (12) angepasst ist und somit unabhängig von der Drehzahl des Verbrennungsmotors (12) einstellbar ist. Die erfindungsgemäße Antriebsvorrichtung (10) ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine elektrische Maschine (26) vorgesehen ist, welche mit der von dem Generator (18) erzeugten elektrischen Energie antreibbar ist und mit welcher der Lüfter (20) mechanisch antreibbar ist.

The invention relates to a drive device (10) for an agricultural or industrial utility vehicle. The drive device (10) comprises an internal combustion engine (12), a cooler (14) of a cooling circuit (16), a generator (18) and a fan (20). The drive device (10) according to the invention is characterized in that an electric machine (26) is provided which can be driven by the electrical energy generated by the generator (18) and with which the fan (20) can be driven mechanically.
