Abstract

Verfahren und Anordnung zur dynamischen Steuerung der Flüssigkeitszufuhr zu einem Befeuchtungsmittel (234) für die Leimkante der Umschlagklappe (11) von Briefumschlägen (1), mit denen die Briefumschläge (1) verschlossen werden. Nach einer Messung eines Messwertes einer im Tank (24) einer Befeuchtungsvorrichtung vorrätigen Schließflüssigkeit erfolgt eine qualitative Analyse der Art der verwendeten Schließflüssigkeit anhand des Messwertes und mindestens eines Materialparameters als Vergleichswert. Die anschließende Durchführung mindestens einer weiteren Messung der im Befeuchtungsmittel (234) gespeicherten Flüssigkeitsmenge erlaubt eine dynamische Steuerung der Flüssigkeitszufuhr zum Befeuchtungsmittel (234) in Abhängigkeit von dem Materialparameter und von mindestens einem zum Flüssigkeitsverbrauch in Wechselbeziehung stehenden Messwert im Ergebnis der mindestens einen Messung der im Befeuchtungsmittel (234) gespeicherten Flüssigkeitsmenge.
