  3. Cylinder lock in accordance with Claim 1, characterised in that the length of each hollow cylinder (11) is at least half the length of the connecting bridge (7).
  4. Cylinder lock in accordance with Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the hollow cylinder (11) comprises at least a peripheral groove (17) on the case periphery.
  5. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the hollow cylinder (11) is a tube on which the lock lug (10) is provided.
  6. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the contact surfaces of the connecting bridge (7) and the locking recess (8) in the connecting area of the crosspiece (9) are designed correspondingly.
  7. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the connecting element (15) is a screw.
  8. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that it is designed as profile double cylinder or double cylinder lock (1).
  9. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that it is designed as knob double cylinder lock (20).
  10. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that it is designed as knob-knob double cylinder.
  11. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that it is designed as semicylinder with an assembly part.
  12. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 1 to 10, characterised in that at least one lock half is designed as electronic lock.
  13. Cylinder lock in accordance with Claims 12, characterised in that the electronic lock is provided with electronics for identification of an electronic key which activate at least a coupling element for the closing latch (6).
  14. Cylinder lock in accordance with Claim 12 or 13, characterised in that the cylindrical core comprises at least the elements required for identification of a key code, in particular reading electronics (28).
  15. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 12 to 14, characterised in that the reading electronics (28) comprise at least an antenna and, if required, a wake-up sensor and/or a status indicator element.
  16. Cylinder lock in accordance with Claim 14 or 15, characterised in that the reading electronics (28) also comprise writing electronics.
  17. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 12 to 16, characterised in that the antenna is designed as an integrated antenna in the cylindrical core (4, 5, 21) or the cylindrical core (4, 5, 21) itself is designed as an antenna.
  18. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 12 to 17, characterised in that evaluator electronics (26) are provided in the cylindrical core (4, 5, 21).
  19. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 12 to 18, characterised in that the cylindrical core (21) is provided with a through-bore.
  20. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 12 to 19, characterised in that the reading electronics (28) are connected with the evaluator electronics (26) via a connecting cable (29) provided in the through-bore.
  21. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 1 to 20, characterised in that the coupling element for mechanical connection of the cylindrical core (4, 5) with the closing latch (6) is provided in the cylindrical core (4, 5).
  22. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 1 to 21, characterised in that the cylindrical core (4, 5, 21) protrudes at least 5 mm, preferably at least 10 mm, out of the cylinder housing (2, 3).
  23. Cylinder lock in accordance with one or more of Claims 1 to 22, characterised in that an operating handle, for example a turning handle or a latch is mounted to the end of the cylindrical core (4, 5, 21) protruding from the cylinder housing (2, 3).
