Description

The invention relates to a device for feeding a scaly sheet flow from a sheet stack to a feed table of a sheet-processing machine with a belt table, at least with an air-permeable, in a sheet transport direction driven suction belt, and at least two successively arranged provided with suction openings and acted upon by suction Suction boxes is equipped, wherein a first suction box downstream of the sheet stack and a second suction box is arranged upstream of the feed table.

Such devices are well known. The sheets separated by a sheet feeder from a stack of sheets are detected as a shingled sheet stream by at least one suction belt having belt table and transported to a feed table. In the area of the belt table facing the sheet feeder, a first suction box is provided, which supplies the suction belt with negative pressure to take over the sheets separated by the sheet feeder. Held by the suction belt, the unterschuppte sheet stagger is transported in a sheet conveying direction on the feed table and the respective foremost sheet of sheet stagger with the leading edge against the feed table positionable feed marks for aligning with the leading edge, said sheet is held by the suction belt by negative pressure in the second, the feed table facing suction box prevails.
After aligning the respective foremost arc of the sheet stagger this can be aligned to the side edge. On the one hand, the sheet to be aligned has to be guided by the suction belt in such a way that it securely attaches to the application marks with the front edge. On the other hand, the holding force acting on the suction belt must be such that the front edge is not damaged during application and subsequent side alignment is possible.
In order to realize that, will be in the DE 38 38 078 A1 proposed to control the amount of negative pressure in the feed table facing suction box in the power stroke. In this case, this suction box should be alternately unterdruckbeaufschlagbar and vacuum relieved.
The disadvantage is that the control of the negative pressure in the power stroke is complicated and only suitable for slow-moving machines, because in high-performance machines, it would be necessary to create at least five sheets per second and thus the suction box five times unterdruckbeaufschlagend and negative pressure triggering.

In the DE 197 28 056 A1 a Saugbändertisch for conveying a sheet flow is described, which has a plurality of successively arranged suction chambers. Each of the suction chambers is provided with a fan for generating a pressure or negative pressure, wherein each fan is separately controllable.
This Saugbändertisch is due to the large number of suction chambers and the separate control of the suction chambers to realize only with great effort.
From the DE 102 13 075 A1 Another suction belt table is known, which has a number of suction chambers of different pressure, which are in complex operative connection via one complex control with one or more vacuum generators. Disadvantages are the high complexity and the difficult adjustment of the different pressure conditions.
Ultimately it is from the DE 198 17 175 A a device for conveying a shingled sheet flow known, with at least one air-permeable suction belt and a suction box, which is connected via suction openings with the suction belt in operative connection. In the feed table facing area of the suction box, the suction openings are provided with switchable closing and opening members, which are actuated in the power stroke, which requires a lot of effort.

The object of the invention is to provide a generic device for supplying a scaly sheet flow with simple means in such a way that the respective foremost sheet of a sheet relay can be easily applied to the Anlegmarken and, if necessary, aligned to the side edge.

According to the invention the object is achieved by a device having the features of claim 1.

The inventive solution, it is possible to control in a cost-effective manner, the holding force of the feed table upstream suction box so that the aligned sheets can be easily applied to the Anlegmarken and possibly aligned with the side edge.

a partial view of the Saugbändertischs in plan view.

In Fig. 1, a suction belt table 1 with a downstream feed table 2 is shown schematically in side view. The suction belt table 1 has at least one suction belt 3, which is guided over an upper deflecting roller 4 and a lower deflecting roller 5 and tensioned by means of two rollers 6. Between the guide rollers 4, 5 a suction belt 3 leading table top 7 is arranged. At the table plates 7, a first, not shown sheet feeder facing suction box 8, and a second, the feed table 2 facing suction box 9 are provided. Between the suction boxes 8, 9 more suction boxes can be provided. The suction boxes 8, 9 are connected via an arbitrary suction surface F having suction openings 10 which penetrate the tabletop 7, with the suction belt 3 in operative connection. At the first suction box 8, a first suction nozzle 11 and the second suction box 9, a second suction nozzle 12 is provided. The suction boxes 8, 9 are connected via the suction nozzle 11, 12 with a vacuum source. The suction belt table 1 is followed by the feed table 2, of which an Anlegblech 14 is shown. In their position on the feed table 2 Anlegmarken 13 are shown. The Anlegmarken 13 are spent in the working cycle from the position on the feed table 2 in a pivoted-away from the feed table 2 position. On the feed table 2 a funded by the rotating suction belt 3 in a sheet transport direction 17 bow to be aligned 15 is shown shortly before reaching the Anlegmarken 13. The sheet 15 to be aligned is subordinated to this subsequent subjacent sheet 17.
2, the suction belt table 1 with the downstream feed table 2 and the Anlegblech 14 are shown in fragmentary plan view. From Saugbändertisch 1, the lower guide roller 5, the feed table 2 facing the second suction box 9 and the second suction box 9 upstream first suction box 8 are shown. The table plate 7 of the suction belt table 1 is penetrated in the track of the suction belt 3 in the suction boxes 8, 9 of suction openings 10. The suction openings 10 of the first suction box 8 are formed and arranged so extending within a width b of the track of the suction belt 3 that within any path section .DELTA.s by the arranged in this path section .DELTA.s suction openings 10, a same negative pressure and thus on the suction belt 3 held bow same holding forces can be realized. The sum of the suction area realized by the suction openings 10 is the same.
In contrast, the suction openings 10, which are associated with the second suction box 9, formed so and extending over the width b of the track of the suction belt 3 extending that within any path section .DELTA.s by the in This path section Δs arranged suction openings 10 different negative pressures and thus different holding forces are realized on the sheet held by the suction belt 3. In this case, the suction openings 10 are formed or arranged so that the holding forces in the first suction box 8 facing area at the highest and in the feed table 2 facing area are lowest. The suction openings 10 may be formed or arranged so that the holding forces seen in the sheet transport direction 17 over a length I of the second suction box 9 progressively, degressively or linearly approximate from a maximum holding force starting from a tendency towards zero holding force.
The sheets separated by a sheet feeder, not shown, are fed to the suction belt table 1 under suction and are picked up by the suction belt 3, supported by a swab roller 18 guided against the upper deflection roller 4 in the working cycle. The holding force acting on the sheets is realized by the negative pressure built up in the first suction box 8. The height of the negative pressure prevailing in the suction boxes 8, 9 is made adjustable for adaptation to the sheet-shaped material to be processed, wherein the negative pressure of the first suction box 8 can be different from the negative pressure of the second suction box 9. The sheets are conveyed as a sheet flow from the suction belt 3, which is driven by a drive, not shown, in the sheet transport direction 17, wherein the respective foremost sheet is transported as ausurichtender sheet 15 on the feed table 2.
When transporting the sheet 15 to be aligned on the feed table 2 as well as with the leading edge against the feed marks 13, this is essentially held on the suction belt 3 by the holding force initiated by the second suction box 9. In order to enable safe transport on the feed table 2, it is necessary at the beginning that the sheet 15 to be aligned is guided by the suction belt 3 with a high holding force. When approaching the aligned sheet 15 with the leading edge to the Anlegmarken 13 of the sheet 15 to be aligned only to avoid damage to the leading edge, are performed with a small holding force, the holding force even after the investment of the aligned sheet 15 to the Anlegmarken 13 should still act slightly to avoid jumping back of the sheet 15 to be aligned. In the course of the approach of the sheet 15 to be aligned to the Anlegmarken 13, held on the suction belt 3 by means of the initiated by the second suction box 9 holding force, the follower sheet 16 passes with its leading edge, held by means of the initiated by the first suction box 8 holding force in the effective range of the second suction box 9 and begins to reduce the force exerted on the sheet 15 to be aligned holding force. Due to the arrangement of the suction openings 10 in the table plate 7 such that over the width b of the track of the suction belt 3 existing sum of the effective suction surfaces F in the sheet transport direction 17 is reduced more and more, the sheet 15 to be aligned can be performed with a smaller and smaller holding force and so easily after the leading edge and possibly following aligned to the side edge.
