Claims (38)

  1. Seating furniture comprising a joint (15) formed in two parts, which is arranged freely below a seat (16), from which a first part (18) and a second part (19) are pivotable with respect to one another about a vertical axis (20), wherein the feet (2-5) are connected to the first part (18) and the supports (21, 22) are connected to the second part (19), characterised in that two supports (21, 22) are provided, that respectively one end of one support (21, 22) is connected to the second part (19) of the joint (15), that the other end is arranged to extend at an angle between 30° and 55° with respect to a horizontal middle plane (17) of the joint (15) towards the front corners (23, 24) of the seat (16), that there each support is connected to an oppositely directed arc (25, 26), where the arcs (25, 26) are arranged in front of the seat (16).
  2. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the feet (2-5) are connected at an angle between 30° and 55° with respect to a horizontal middle plane (17) of the joint (15) on this joint.
  3. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the feet (2-5) have oppositely directed angled ends (7-10).
  4. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the ends (7-10) are each provided with a height adjustment (11-14) and/or rollers.
  5. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that four feet (2-5) are provided, which are connected to the joint (15) in one plane.
  6. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the supports (21, 22) are connected to the joint (15) in one plane.
  7. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the supports (21; 21, 22) are arranged in a line with the feet (2; 4, 3) in a side view and/or in a front view.
  8. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the feet (2-5) and the supports (21, 22) are configured in the same way.
  9. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the feet (2-5) and/or supports (21, 22) taper away from the joint (15).
  10. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the feet (2-5) and/or the supports (21, 22) are configured to be tubular and are pushed onto supports (43-46; 55, 56) fixed to the joint.
  11. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the supports (43-46; 55, 56) each have a free-ending section (47-50) configured in its outside diameter corresponding to the inside diameter of the foot (2-5) to be pushed on and/or the support (21, 22) to be pushed on, that an annular shoulder (51-54) axially delimits the pushing-on and that the outside diameter of the annular shoulder (51-54) corresponds to the outside diameter of the pushed-on end of the foot (2-5) and/or the support (21, 22).
  12. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the joint or the parts (18, 19) of the joint (15) is/are each formed in one piece with supports (43-46; 55, 56).
  13. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the joint or the parts (18, 19) of the joint (15) is/are each made of cast aluminium.
  14. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the joint or the parts of the joint is/are each made of a steel.
  15. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the parts (18, 19) of the joint (15) are separated by an externally visible, horizontal central plane (17).
  16. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the second, upper part (19) has an axle (57) projecting on the underside, which is rotatably mounted in a corresponding receptacle (58) of the first lower part (18).
  17. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that two annular shoulders (59, 60) are formed on the axle (57) pointing towards its free end and that two bearings (61, 62) are fixed towards the annular shoulders (59, 60).

  20. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the arcs (25, 26) are doubly curved and that spars (27, 28) supporting the seat (16) are connected to the arcs (25, 26).
  21. The seating furniture according to claim 20, characterised in that the spars (27, 28) are arranged to run parallel.
  22. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that respectively one upward-pointing arc (29, 30) is connected to the spars (27, 28) and that a backrest (31) is connected to the arcs (29, 30).
  23. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that struts (32, 33) are connected to the upward-pointing arcs (29, 30) and the backrest (31) is connected to the struts (32, 33).
  24. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that transverse struts (35, 36) are provided connecting arcs (25, 26; 29, 30) and/or spars at the front and rear side.
  25. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that one transverse strut (34) connects the free ends of the struts (32, 33) and that a U-shaped attachment (38) is provided above the transverse strut (34).
  26. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that an armrest (41, 42) is connected externally to a strut (32, 33) and to a spar (27, 28) and that the armrest (41, 42) has a frame running around in an annular manner which is configured to be tubular at least in sections.
  27. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the frame has a keyhole-shaped recess for fastening to the strut (32, 33), that the frame has two holes for fastening to the spar (27, 28), that in the recess the cap of a nut fixed to the strut grips behind the wall of the frame, that the shafts of two screws fixed to the spar engage in the holes and that the shafts are secured by holes in screws passing through the frame.
  28. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised by a braking and positioning device (71) which comprises a first ring (72) of rod-shaped magnets (74) arranged in an axially fixed manner on the axle (57), which comprises a second ring (78) of magnets (80) arranged in the receptacle (58) in a fixed manner, wherein opposing magnets (74, 80) attract in at least one neutral position of the axle (57) with respect to the receptacle (58) and repel outside the neutral position.
  29. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the axially fixed ring (72) is provided with magnets (74) having the same alignment of the magnetic fields.
  30. The seating furniture according to claim 30, characterised in that four magnets (74) are provided in one 90° division.
  31. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the ring (78) fixed in the receptacle in the at least one neutral position is provided with magnets (80) having the same alignment of the magnetic fields, that the alignment corresponds to that of the corresponding magnets (74) of the axially fixed ring (72) and that magnets (80) having opposite polarity are arranged over the circumference between the magnets (80) of the neutral position of the ring (78) fixed in the receptacle.
  32. The seating furniture according to claim 32, characterised in that the ring (78) fixed in the receptacle comprises eight magnets (80) of alternating polarity on one 45° division.
  33. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that one ring (72, 78) formed separately receives the magnets (74, 80).
  34. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the rings are formed in an axially overlapping manner.
  35. The seating furniture according to one or more of claims 29 to 34, characterised in that the rings (72, 78) are arranged coaxially.
  36. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the axially fixed ring (72) has an angular opening (77) and that the axle (57) is provided with a section (76) delimited by an annular shoulder (75) having a cross-section corresponding to that of the opening (77) for an anti-twist attachment of the ring (72).
  37. The seating furniture according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that a round external socket (85) of the ring (78) fixed in the receptacle is provided with axially running grooves (81) into which lugs (82) of the receptacle (58) engage.
  38. The seating furniture according to claim 37, characterised in that the grooves (81) are arranged to lie between magnets (80).
