Swivel chair with a seat that is resiliently supported with respect to the leg frame. The present invention relates to a swivel chair with a seat that is resiliently supported with respect to the leg frame.
In such a swivel chair, according to the present invention, a good cushioning of the seat is to be achieved with simple training because: the support frame for the seat is formed from tubular steel parts. which are bent downwards by about 180 'on the front of the seat and connected at the end to the leg frame, so that the support frame itself enables the seat to yield resiliently relative to the leg frame.
As a result, no special flat or spiral springs are required for the suspension of this chair.
Conveniently, in such a chair, the tubular steel parts are extended backwards beyond the seat and bent upwards by about 90 in order to carry a backrest at the end. As a result, the backrest can also yield resiliently towards the rear with respect to the seat.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown on the accompanying drawing, namely: File. 1 is an elevation and FIG. 2 is a plan view of a chair.
1 is the leg frame made of steel tubes with the centrally attached spindle sleeve 2, into which the rotating spindle 3 is inserted so that it can be lowered, whereby a locking mechanism of a known type that can be operated with the lever 4 serves to hold the same in the desired height position . At the upper end of the rotary spindle 3 sits a plate 5 to which the middle part of a steel tube 6 is attached. This steel tube 6 is guided around the spindle and forms two V-shaped parts directed forwards and outwards, which are bent at the front by approximately 180 'and at the top directed approximately horizontally backwards, around the seat 7 record.
The tubular steel parts are extended backwards beyond the seat 7 and bent upwards by approximately 90 ° and at the end support the backrest B.
As a result of the bent tubular steel parts connected between the seat and the spindle, the seat can tilt resiliently and thereby results in a soft and flexible cushioning with a simple design of the chair. The backrest 8 is also flexible with respect to the seat 7 in that the bent tubular parts between the seat and the backrest allow the backrest to spring backwards.
The chair could also be designed in such a way that tubular steel parts are only inserted between the seat and the rotating spindle, with the backrest being built together with the seat.
In the case of the chair described, no special spring parts are therefore required to cushion the seat with respect to the leg frame, so that this chair can be produced easily and cheaply.
