Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for data configuration and provision as well as a device for implementing the method according to the preamble of claims 1 and 15.
- a method for the electronic management of agricultural work machines has become known, in which a central processing unit coordinates work processes between work machines.
- the disclosed method aims in particular at providing the farmer with an aid with which he can efficiently coordinate his work machine fleet and specifically administer auxiliary materials to be applied depending on the yields determined. This reduces the costs for the auxiliary materials to be used, since now, for example, only as much fertilizer has to be introduced into the soil as was previously withdrawn from it by the sensed amount of crop. So that this fertilizer application can take place geographically very precisely, the yield data is recorded by satellite navigation and stored in a database, which is then called up for the application of the fertilizer.
- these geo-referenced data it is possible for these geo-referenced data to be stored in a computing unit of the respective work machine before use or to be transmitted online to the computing unit of the agricultural work machine during use.
- the agricultural harvesting machine designed as a combine harvester can also transmit information directly to the sowing and fertilizing machines without involving a master computer, which at the same time process the area already harvested by the combine harvester. Due to the one-sided orientation of such management systems on the needs-based application of auxiliary materials depending on the determined crop yield, these systems are unsuitable for implementing data transfer between any agricultural machinery and / or stationary equipment in the sense of process chain optimization and the efficient integration of agricultural machinery in existing process chains. In addition, the generated data are always limited to a specific application and can only be used meaningfully in this specific application, namely during a very specific field processing step.
- a further data exchange system has become known from the prior art, in which a communication system, usually for a limited period of time, is set up in an event-controlled manner by means of a master computer between any agricultural work machines.
- Such communication systems have the advantage that, depending on the process chain, agricultural work machines can be integrated into the communication system and released from it. During the period of integration into the communication system, each of the agricultural work machines can access and use the data available in the communication system, so that efficient optimization of the work processes within a process chain can be achieved.
- a disadvantage of a communication system structured in this way is, in particular, that the generation and provision of data is linked to a specific process chain and the agricultural work machines integrated into it. Upstream and downstream processes such as order placement and order accounting, order-related integration into other process chains and machine-specific information that is not linked to a process chain, such as maintenance information, are not recorded by the communication system described.
- the method for data configuration and provision for agricultural work machines is essentially structured in such a way that the agricultural work machine is assigned an individualized data record relating to the respective agricultural work machine in a superordinate data configurator, it is ensured that efficient machine-specific data provision is made possible.
- This has the particular advantage that the information assigned to an agricultural work machine is now available across processes outside of a specific application and can be used for customer-oriented provision of service concepts.
- the higher-level data configurator is formed by an Internet and the data set is formed as a website in the Internet. This has the advantage that the information can be generated worldwide and retrieved from the object.
- the information pool is available immediately from the beginning of the life cycle of the agricultural work machine.
- the data record is generated by external providers in the higher-level data configurator ensures that the information assigned to the website has a high information content, since the external providers can in particular provide special expert knowledge that would be difficult to obtain under conventional conditions.
- the agricultural work machine has means for independent configuration of the data sets and the means are designed as a computer-based data processing system, the computer-based data processing system comprising at least one control and evaluation unit and an object-related ID address.
- every agricultural work machine can be easily integrated into a global data exchange system, the Internet, so that every agricultural work machine can be addressed at any point in the world.
- the result is that the data records enable the agricultural work machine to be classified in a work environment and / or enable the agricultural work machine to organize itself.
- a method of classification in a work environment and / or the self-organization of the agricultural work machine, which can be handled in a simple and structured manner, is achieved if a link between program modules and the data sets is provided.
- the program modules can be stored and / or generated in at least the control and evaluation unit assigned to the agricultural work machine, the data configurator or a data storage and editing unit that can be addressed by the data configurator.
- a high degree of flexibility in data handling results when the program modules are stored and / or generated in a combination of control and evaluation unit, the data configurator or a data storage and editing unit that can be addressed by the data configurator.
- the data records include manufacturer information, machine information, operator information, agricultural information, networking information and maintenance information or a combination of these, so that the data records have a high information content.
- the data records map process chains and the respective agricultural work machine is part of one or more process chains. This has the particular advantage that the respective agricultural machine can be integrated into any process chain without any problems.
- a structured structure of the data records and a secure exchange of information result in an advantageous further development of the invention when the modulation of the program modules takes place in a universal modulation language and the data records can be edited and refined in stages by integrating further program modules.
- the device for implementing the method for data configuration and provision is designed in such a way that the agricultural work machine comprises at least one control and evaluation unit and an object-related ID address can be assigned to the agricultural work machine by means of the control and evaluation unit and the control and evaluation unit enables data exchange with a superordinate data configurator and the data configurator of the agricultural machine assigns an individualized and editable data record via the control and evaluation unit, the possibility is created in a structurally simple manner to enable machine-related comprehensive data provision.
- the activation of the ID address is carried out by the manufacturer of the agricultural work machine when the agricultural work machine is handed over to a customer, so that an individualized information memory is assigned to the agricultural work machine when it is placed on the market.
- Figure 1 first shows the method according to the invention with the aid of a flow chart.
- the object 1 produced by the manufacturer 3, the agricultural work machine 2 is handed over either directly by the manufacturer or via sales organizations to a customer 4 after completion.
- the buyer 4 can either directly be the end customer, a farmer or a contractor or an intermediary.
- the agricultural working machine 2 is handed over, it is set up by the manufacturer 3 himself or by a third party commissioned that it can exchange information with a higher-level data configurator 6 via a data transmission system 5 to be described in more detail.
- the higher-level data configurator 6 is formed by an Internet 7 that is accessible worldwide.
- the manufacturer 3 With the transfer of the object 1, the manufacturer 3 simultaneously created a so-called internet page 9 in the higher-level data configurator 6 via a communication system 8, which the object 1 can access by means of the data transmission system 5.
- individualized data records 10 that are to be described in greater detail are stored in accordance with the invention for the object 1, in the present case the agricultural work machine 2.
- the stored data records initially include manufacturer information 11, such as product documentation, operating instructions and repair instructions.
- manufacturer information 11 such as product documentation, operating instructions and repair instructions.
- This information finally enables the operator of the agricultural work machine 2 to call up machine-specific data from the individualized website 9, which data are independent of the integration of the object 1 in any process chains, since they relate exclusively to the object 1 as such.
- the individualized data record 10 also includes machine information 12, which can include process-dependent information as well as process-independent information.
- machine profile can be stored here, which includes machine specifications, performance parameters, technical data, software versions and installed systems.
- the machine information can also include information about which applications and processes are supported by the agricultural work machine 2.
- the main information to be obtained here is whether and how quality management systems, automatic process data acquisition and removal logistics are supported.
- the machine information 12 includes information on whether the specific agricultural work machine 2 supports automatic turning systems, teleprocess optimizations and automated steering systems and, if applicable, how this is to be done.
- a further component of the data record 10 can be what is known as operator information 13, which is individually tailored to the customer 4 using the agricultural machine 2 and primarily includes features of the fleet management, information on the vehicle fleet and information on available business systems such as accounting software and rental management systems.
- the data record also includes agricultural information 14 in the broadest sense. Such information is largely linked to the structure of the respective process chain in which the agricultural work machine 2 is integrated. Examples include information on farm management, quality assurance and the data required for the use of mapping and precision farming tools.
- the data record 10 can include so-called networking information 15, which essentially provides information about what communication equipment the agricultural work machine 2 has or, depending on the process chain, which communication systems are available in a region-specific manner.
- the data record 10 can also include so-called maintenance information 16, which essentially provides information about when and how maintenance measures are to be carried out, which diagnostic systems are available, whether forecast systems are available and how these are handled.
- the data configuration and provision system 17 according to the invention is therefore structured in such a way that the data records 10 stored on the individualized website 9 are jointly generated by the manufacturer 3, the agricultural machine 2 and from external providers 18 or a selection of these and are integrated into the website 9 .
- the information provision could be structured in such a way that the manufacturer 3 provides all manufacturer-specific information, while the agricultural work machine 2 provides machine-specific and process chain-related information, such as optimized work parameter settings, quality information such as grain losses and crop information such as crop moisture.
- External providers 18 can provide that information that requires some kind of special knowledge and cannot be generated by the manufacturer 3 or the machine operator, or can only be generated with considerable effort. In addition to business accounting and order management systems, information about vehicle fleets and, in connection with a special process chain, for example, region-specific information should be mentioned here.
- the data configuration and provision system 17 according to the invention can be configured in such a way that the individualized website 9 initially only comprises a basic configuration of the data set 10 according to the invention. In the simplest case, this basic configuration is created by the manufacturer 3. Over the life of the object, the data record 10, which can be accessed via the individualized website 9, can now be completed, adapted or subdivided more finely, so that an ever more individual data record 10 is produced that is tailored to the respective object 1.
- FIG Figure 2 A particularly efficient data configuration and provision system 17 is shown in FIG Figure 2 shown schematically.
- the individualized website 9 is initially connected to a data module storage and editing unit 19 in which data modules 20-27 to be described in more detail are stored.
- the data modules include, for example, an order module 20, a fleet planning module 21, a grain harvest module 22, and a straw press module 23, a module harvesting crop 24, a maintenance module 25, a billing module 26 and a repair module 27.
- the operator of the agricultural machine 2 and / or an external provider 18 can now access the respective Object 1 tailored program module 28 are generated, which is intended directly for the integration of the agricultural machine 2 in a process chain, here the grain harvest.
- Each of these program modules 20-27 can now again like data record 10 Figure 1 be structured, the information blocks 11-16 being assigned either to each program module 20-27 or uniformly to the newly generated higher-level program module 28. Since the program modules 20-27 are stored in a higher-level data storage and editing unit 19, the agricultural harvesting machine 2 can either access the special repair program module 27 in a context-relevant manner if necessary, such as in the event of damage, or it can join existing process chains defined by a higher-level program module 28 integrate. In this way, it becomes possible for the agricultural work machine 2 to be able to automatically integrate itself into an existing work environment, which in the most consequent case leads to a self-organization of the agricultural work machine 2.
- the data storage and editing unit 19 Since the data storage and editing unit 19 is addressed via an Internet 7, it can be formed by one or more servers 29 positioned anywhere in the world. However, it would also be conceivable for the data storage and editing unit 19 to be arranged directly on the agricultural work machine 2 itself. So that the program modules 20-28 can also be exchanged in the Internet 7 without any problems, the program modules 20-28 comprising the data sets 10 are created in a universal modulation language known per se.
- FIG. 3 illustrates the mode of operation and the sequence of the method according to the invention on the basis of a specific application of an agricultural work machine 2.
- the agricultural work machine 2 is designed as a combine harvester 30.
- the combine harvester 30 has a control and evaluation unit 31 to which an ID address 32 has been assigned by the manufacturer, by means of which the combine harvester 30 can access the individualized website 9 of the superordinate data configurator 6 implemented as internet 7.
- An order module 20 for the combine harvester 30 was created via a vehicle fleet control center 33, which the combine harvester 30 can call up in the manner described above via the website 9 assigned to it in an individualized manner.
- the order concerns the harvesting of a usable territory 34 on which the grain harvest process chain has already begun.
- a combine 35 and a so-called unloading vehicle 36 are shown symbolically for this purpose.
- the combine harvester 35 and the transport vehicle 36 have data exchange systems 37 which are known per se and are therefore not described in greater detail, by means of which they can exchange data with one another and with a central processing unit 38. In particular, position data are obtained in this way. Crop quantities and qualities exchanged.
- the central processing unit 38 thus produces an exact picture of the current degree of processing of the process grain harvest, in particular which areas of the usable territory 34 to be processed still have to be harvested. This information is transmitted from the computing unit 38, which acts as an external provider 18, to the Internet 7, the higher-level data configurator 6, via data transmission systems 39 known per se.
- the combine harvester 30 can integrate this information into its individualized website 9 as a grain harvest program module 22. It would also be conceivable that this integration is carried out directly by the external processing unit 38. Furthermore, the vehicle fleet control center 33 can at the same time assign a program module accounting 26 to the combine harvester 30, so that the services provided by the combine harvester 30 can finally be accounted for directly.
- the program modules 20, 22, 26 selected by way of example form the superordinate program module 28 comprising the data records 10 according to the invention.
- the selected program modules 20, 22, 26 now contain all of the information that initially leads the combine 30 to the territory to be worked, the classification of the combine 30 in the process chain that has already started, an optimization of the machine parameters from the point of view of production of a high-quality harvested product and efficient machine utilization and, finally, the simple deflection of the invoicing to the owner of the cultivated territory 34 is guaranteed. If damage occurs to the combine harvester 30 during this operation, the combine harvester 30 is to be activated via its individualized website 9 and the ID address assigned to it, a repair program module 27 which either provides it with online help for carrying out the repair.
- repair program module 27 directly integrates a repair workshop 40 into the repair process via suitable data exchange systems 39, in the simplest case commissioned to carry out the repair. It is also within the scope of the invention that the repair shop 40 itself provides the repair 27 program modules.
- An analogous procedure can be provided if maintenance work is to be carried out on the combine harvester 30 and the combine harvester 30 activates a maintenance program module 25 via its individualized website 9, with the activated program module 25 also in this case all the information required for the operator of the combine harvester 30 includes.
