Abstract
Description
The invention provides an arrangement for mounting a "flat-blade" wiper blade on an inverted U-shaped drive arm end.
The invention more particularly proposes an arrangement for mounting and hinging a wiper blade of a glazed panel at a free end of a drive arm of the wiper blade in an alternating sweep, which comprises a support attached to the wiper blade and a connector attached to the free end of the drive arm and which is hinged relative to the support about a transverse axis of articulation.
According to a design for making wipers of low height, the articulated structure of the wiper blade which carries the squeegee or wiper blade is removed and they are structural reinforcing elements that are associated with the wiper blade flexible to constitute the wiper itself, also called "flat-blade".
The wiper blade is swept alternately on the wiping glass by a conventional drive mechanism which includes a wiper drive arm. Due to the complex shape of the window to be wiped, the blade is mounted articulated about a transverse axis relative to the drive arm, via a hinge connector.
The free end of the drive arm, which carries the brush, has generally the shape of a section of inverted U-shaped cross-section section open towards the bottom, in which is received a hinge connector of the brush with respect to the end of the arm.
The hinge connector is further connected to the wiper blade by means of a mounting bracket which is attached to the wiper blade.
According to this document, the mounting bracket comprises a central wall vertical longitudinal orientation and each side face carries a transverse rod which cooperates with the connector to achieve the articulation of the blade relative to the end of the drive arm.
Such an arrangement is particularly advantageous because its transverse bulk is relatively small.
However, according to this arrangement, the connector comprises rear legs which are elastically deformable and which cooperate with notches made in the lateral wings of the end of the arm to achieve the locking of the connector in position in the end of the arm.
These rear legs are relatively fragile and make the design of the connector particularly complex.
The invention aims to provide an arrangement for mounting a wiper blade at the end of the drive arm, wherein the connector mounting means with the end of the arm are relatively simple.

In the following description, identical, similar or similar elements will be designated by the same reference numerals.
The
The transverse vertical section of the
Since the connecting
Thus, during assembly of the
The connecting
The mounting of this assembly on the
Each
The two sections before 52 and 50 rear delimit a
When mounting a
Finally, when the
In addition, the curved shape of the two
According to the embodiment of the
According to another aspect of the mounting
A.The longitudinal dimension of the
These
The
The
The
The
The invention has been described in association with a "flat-blade" type broom according to a particular embodiment. However, it will be understood that the invention is not limited to this embodiment, and that the arrangement according to the invention can be used for another type of "flat-blade" wiper blade, the support of assembly then comprising associated means for attachment to the brush.
