Definitions
- Hybrid cable in the context of the invention is understood to mean a cable which serves both for transmitting telecommunications signals and for transmitting energy.
- Hybrid cables which use different transmission media, such as optical fibers and copper, as well as hybrid cables for transmitting a variety of electrical voltages are known.
- the Utility Model DE 20 2005 008 731 U1 shows a hybrid cable. It comprises shielded electrical conductors in the cable core for supplying energy and control signal lines arranged on the outer circumference of the shield, and additionally an optical waveguide.
- the different groups of signal lines and power supply lines are spatially separated. If one of the lines used for energy supply is now to be used for signal transmission or one of the signal lines for energy transmission, this results in interference between the mutually not electrically shielded lines.
- the usually leading from strong electric fields energy leading lines can lead to the falsification of electrical signals or in the event of a short circuit between the lines even to the destruction of the connected device.
- WO 00/22488 shows an aircraft data management system in which a hybrid cable for providing audio, video and telephone data to aircraft seats is shown with a high-speed data transmission.
- the invention has for its object to make a hybrid cable for electric drives such that the best possible shielding between power supply and signal lines can be realized and a protection of the connected peripherals is ensured in the event of a short circuit.
- the invention solves this problem by means of a hybrid cable for the realization of a DC link wiring of an electric drive according to claim 1.
- a hybrid cable for the realization of the DC link wiring of an electric drive and for producing a signal connection between the controller and drive, for example, to realize a leadership communication.
- the advantage of the arrangement is firstly that instead of two different cables, namely a cable for power supply and a cable for signal supply, now a single cable can be used. This saves wiring and costs.
- the shielding according to the invention effects a subsequent electrical disconnection possibility between low-voltage lines and power supply lines.
- the additional lines are due to the existence of the shield between low voltage lines and power lines also mechanically spaced apart, so that both a short circuit between additional conductor and energy conductor and mutual interference by electrical and / or magnetic fields can be largely excluded. Possible malfunctions of the connected peripherals are thus minimized and wiring costs reduced.
- the invention also provides some redundancy with regard to wiring. This redundancy allows the subsequent wiring of a drive and a subsequent shielding of the rewired and an electrical signal lines leading. A wired with the hybrid cable according to the invention drive system can thus be handled very flexible.
- the shielding improves due to an increased copper filling factor. If the shielding conductors are replaced by a large number of conductors with a small cross-section, the copper fill factor in the line cross-section is also higher, and thus the shielding is likewise improved.
- the signal conductor is used to guide fieldbus signals.
- the invention avoids a disturbance of the fieldbus signals (command and actual value transmission for the drive) and thus increases operational safety.
- the energy conductor is used to guide a DC link voltage.
- a DC link voltage which is usually a DC voltage, strong static electric fields occur, which could disturb the other signals.
- a short circuit between the power lines and the additional lines reserved for control signals, for example, would make the electronics of the connected peripherals to destroy.
- the invention prevents such destruction by avoiding a short circuit as already explained above.
- the additional conductor comprises a plurality of wires for guiding low voltages.
- further control and regulating signals can be transmitted, whereby these can be decoupled optimally with respect to the electric fields originating from the energy lines.
- all conductors are surrounded by an outer sheath.
- This outer jacket mechanically holds the cable together and at the same time serves as insulation and protection.
- a connector (plug / socket) is arranged at one end of the cable.
- the cable can thus be detachably connected to the drive controller and / or the periphery.
- the electrical connection between the shields and the shield conductors can be realized either by means of the connector by a corresponding wiring in the connector itself, or on a circuit board of the connected peripherals.
- the invention also includes an electric drive with hybrid cable according to the invention for supplying the drive with electrical energy and for leadership communication, wherein the outer and inner shield and the ground lines are at the same electrical potential, so that an electrical shielding of the energy conductor is effected relative to the additional conductor.
- the drive can be easily wired so that power supply and management communication is ensured and operational readiness is quickly established.
- the electrical circuits of the drive are protected against overvoltages. Subsequent wiring and electrical shielding, eg when connecting a feedback unit, is possible at any time. LIST OF REFERENCE NUMBERS 1 DC wires 2 shieldwires 3 additional conductor 4 signal conductor 5 Inner shielding 6 External shielding 7 outer sheath 8th hybrid cable 9 potential conductor
- FIG. 1 shows a hybrid cable 8 according to the invention in cross section.
- an outer sheath 7, an outer shield 6, power conductor 1, shield conductor 2, additional conductor 3, an inner shield 5 and signal lines 4 are shown.
- the hybrid cable 8 is constructed similar to a coaxial cable.
- the inner conductor consists in this case of a plurality of signal lines 4, which are surrounded by an inner shield 5. Between this inner shield 5 and the outer shield 6, further conductors 1, 2, 3 are distributed along the outer circumference of the inner shield 4. These conductors 1, 2, 3 serve to transfer energy, i. for operating an electrical device connected by means of the hybrid cable 8 to a power supply, as well as for transmitting low voltage (for example control signals) by means of the additional lines 3.
- the shielding conductors 2 arranged between the power supply lines 1 and low-voltage wires 3 are used for mechanical spacing and electrical shielding of the power lines 1 3.
- the mechanical spacing is ensured by the dimensions of the shielding conductors, which substantially completely fill the radial gap between the inner and outer shields.
- a short circuit between the power line 1 and an additional line 3 is already excluded, solely because of the existence of the shield conductor 2.
- the ground lines 2 are set to the same electrical potential as the shields 4, 5, preferably 0 volts or ground, then the electric field lines emanating from the power lines 1 find their end point on the shield conductor 2 and on the surrounding shields 4, 5. The additional lines are therefore no longer exposed to the outgoing from the power lines 1 electric fields. Mutual electrical interference is largely avoided.
- the shielding effect is improved. Also, one could replace a single shielding conductor 2 by a plurality of shielding conductors 2 smaller cross-section.
- the signal conductor 4 serves to guide fieldbus signals and the energy conductor 1 to guide the intermediate circuit DC voltage to supply a drive controller with electrical energy.
- the additional conductors 3 additionally serve to guide low voltages (eg feedback signals).
- further control and regulating signals can be transmitted, whereby these can be decoupled optimally by means of the shielding conductor 2 with respect to the electric fields originating from the power lines 1.
- the outer shell 7 solidifies the Cable mechanically and at the same time serves as insulation and protection.
- the hybrid cable 8 according to the invention comprises at least at one end of the cable a connector (plug or socket) for connection to the drive controller.
- the potentials of the shielding conductor 2 and the shields are usually produced on a circuit board of the drive controller. Even within the connector, the potentials could be merged.
- FIG. 2 shows the effect according to the invention on FIG. 1 shown cables.
- the invention causes the formation of potential lines 9, which lead to improved shielding.
