Description

B E S C H R E I B U N G DESCRIPTION
Dachantenne für ein Fahrzeug mit verbesserter Bodenplatte und KontaktierungRoof antenna for a vehicle with improved base plate and contacting
The invention relates to a roof antenna for mounting on a vehicle roof of a vehicle, with a bottom plate to which a support plate is attached, according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.
Such a roof antenna is described for example in DE 101 33 295 A1. Although this known roof antenna for the reception (and possibly the transmission) of high-frequency signals is already a satisfactory construction, but which is in need of improvement in terms of installation. Because the installation of this known roof antenna is too expensive, since several operations are required for attaching the roof antenna on the vehicle roof and the subsequent contacting.
The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a roof antenna for mounting on a vehicle roof of a vehicle, with the above-described disadvantages are avoided. In particular, the assembly for immovable fixing of the roof antenna on the vehicle roof of the vehicle to be improved and the subsequent contacting be simplified.
This object is solved by the features of claim 1.
According to the invention, at least one counter contact element electrically connected to the at least one antenna radiator is integrated in the bottom plate of the roof antenna and the approximately elongated bottom plate has at least one latching hook at one end and is formed at the end opposite the end for receiving a fastening element is. The combination of the fastening and contacting means has the advantage that both the assembly is quick and easy to carry out, which can be done above all by a single assembler. After assembly, the roof antenna can be easily contacted with downstream electronic devices such as antenna amplifiers and the like in a simple manner.
For mounting the roof antenna on the vehicle roof of the vehicle, the vehicle roof has a corresponding cutout, which can be punched out, for example. With the at least one latching hook at one end of the bottom plate, the roof antenna is prefixed and attached to the opposite end with a fastener immovably to the vehicle roof. For mounting on the vehicle roof so the bottom plate with the at least one latching hook, for example, in the rear area (viewed in the direction of travel) is engaged on the vehicle roof and fixed with the example designed as a fastening screw fastener in the front area on the vehicle roof. In this case, the roof antenna rests laterally on the vehicle roof, so that a capacitive ground coupling can be achieved with it and with further lateral guide ribs. After mounting the roof antenna, an outer antenna cover (a design element) glued, screwed, clipped cder be attached in the same manner acting.
In a further development of the invention, the at least one latching hook, preferably two or more latching hooks, are resiliently arranged on the bottom plate. As a result, different thicknesses of the vehicle roof as well as roof curvatures on the resilient latching hooks at the one end of the bottom plate, preferably in the rear area (viewed in the direction of travel) compensate. The electrical contact is made exclusively via directly below the bottom plate arranged connectors that are designed as a high-frequency connector (RF connector). This has the significant advantage that on the underside of the roof antenna no cable tails (pigtails) have to be led out more. The electrical contact can be simplified if a plurality of mating contact elements are arranged below the bottom plate so that from the bottom only a single connector with multiple connectors must be plugged. For this purpose, the mating contact element is formed in a particularly advantageous manner as a Fakra connector, which is a standardized and standardized part for applications in the automotive industry.
Further embodiments of the invention are specified in the subclaims, from which the corresponding advantages result.
An embodiment of a roof antenna according to the invention, to which the invention is not limited, is described below and explained with reference to the figures.
As far as shown in detail, FIGS. 1 to 6 show a roof antenna which has a base plate 1 with a front end 2 and a rear end 3 (FIG. 1). At the front end 2, two resiliently arranged on the bottom plate 1 latching hooks 4 are present at the front, wherein at the rear end 3 in an opening in the bottom plate 1, a fastening screw 5 is inserted. At the top, the bottom plate 1 is provided with a support edge 6 for a support plate, wherein the peripheral edge 6 is also arranged around contact elements 7 around. In addition, the support edge 6 has a plurality of fastening holes 8 for fastening the support plate to the base plate 1.
Die Aufzählung ist nur beispielhaft und nicht vollständig.FIG. 2 shows the base plate 1 with antenna elements arranged thereon or thereon, wherein one or more antenna emitters 9 are arranged on a carrier plate 10. The at least one antenna radiating element 9 is an element for receiving high-frequency signals, in particular for receiving mobile radio signals, navigation signals, SDARS signals, DAB signals, DVB-T signals and the like. The list is only an example and not complete.
Additionally or alternatively, at least one of the antenna radiating elements 9 can also be designed to emit high-frequency signals (eg emergency call). The support plate 10, further comprises mating contact elements 11 on the over Conductor tracks, preferably at the bottom of the support plate 10, with the antenna radiator elements 9 and the contact elements 7 are connected. For permanent fixing of the support plate 10 on the support edge 6 of the bottom plate 1 fasteners 12 are provided, for example, in the mounting holes 8 caulked rivets or screws or the like. To support an antenna hood, not shown here, at least one support element 13 is provided, and it may be particularly advantageous if at least one of the support elements 13 is also designed as an antenna radiator 9 at the same time.
This antenna cover 14 is suitably connected to the bottom plate 1 and / or the support plate 10, for example by a detent or clip connection. Adhesive connections are also conceivable. In particular, the antenna hood 14 (also designed as an inner hood) is latchingly connected to the bottom plate 1 at the front and rear and lies e.g. at four points on the support plate 10. In the region of the rear end 3 of the bottom plate 1, the antenna cover 14 is configured such that the fastening screw 5 inserted in the opening of the bottom plate 1 can be actuated from above, but can not be moved out of the opening from the bottom plate 1. Thus, the fixing screw 5 is arranged captive on the bottom plate 1 due to this design of the antenna cover 14, but still can be operated as before. This design can also be partially seen in FIG. With regard to FIG. 3, it should also be pointed out that it is very clearly recognizable here that a single contact element or a plurality of contact elements 7 combined into a group, which are electrically connected via the conductor tracks of the carrier plate 10 to the antenna radiator elements 9, project downwards for the later simple one and quick assembly of the connectors.
Im hinteren Ende 3 der Bodenplatte 1 ist die bevorzugte Ausgestaltung der Antennenhaube 14 erkennbar, um die Befestigungsschraube 5 unverlierbar, aber nach wie vor betätigbar an der Bodenplatte 1 festzulegen.FIG. 5 shows the roof antenna with the antenna hood mounted, wherein it can be seen that the antenna hood 14 has slots into which the upper ends of the support elements 13 can be inserted. The outer shape of the antenna hood 14 may each be a common part for various forms of roof antennas, or be designed differently and be a design element. In the rear end 3 of the bottom plate 1, the preferred embodiment of the antenna cover 14 can be seen in order to fix the fixing screw 5 captive, but still operable on the bottom plate 1.
Figure 6 shows the bottom plate 1 of the roof antenna from below, again the arrangement of the latching hooks 4 in the front region of the bottom plate 1, the fixing screw 5 in the rear region 3 of the bottom plate 1 and the arrangement of the contact elements 7 can be seen. In addition, a downwardly facing, circumferential edge 15 (congruent with the support edge or at least partially different from it) can be seen. For mounting the roof antenna on the vehicle roof, the vehicle roof must therefore have a cutout that corresponds to the outer contour of the peripheral edge 15. Thus, the roof antenna rests with the lateral region of the peripheral edge 15 on the front side of the recess in the vehicle roof, so that thereby and with the underside of the bottom plate 1, a capacitive grounding coupling can be achieved.
BezugszeichenlisteIn the figures, only the antenna cover 14 is shown, which is designed here as an inner hood. This means that, in addition to the antenna cover 14, a further covering hood can be fastened via the roof antenna shown in FIG. 5, wherein this covering hood can be fastened to the floor panel or the vehicle roof (for example by means of an adhesive connection). This has the advantage that the roof antenna, as shown in Figure 5, can be made as a common part and different design specifications in the design of the hood can be considered. Alternatively, the antenna cover 14 may be formed as an outer hood, where it is then pulled down over the end faces of the bottom plate 1 in the direction of the surface of the vehicle roof.
