Definitions

  • the invention relates to an example, as a stand-up tool, that is primarily for a vertically downwardly directed operation in upright standing of the operator trained beating hand tool, especially in the form of an electro-pneumatic drill chisel hammer.
  • This has for loading a tool holder with impact energy along a working direction to a drive assembly having a drive, in particular in the form of an electric motor, optionally a gear and a motion converter in the form of a percussion mechanism.
  • the drive assembly is at least partially housed in an outer housing.
  • handles are provided on opposite sides of the outer housing, which are for adjusting a handle height, relative to the tool holder in different positions can be fixed, the handle height is defined by the parallel to the working direction distance of the handles to a tip of a held in the tool holder tool.
  • Such adjustable handles allow an adaptation of the hand tool or its handle height to the respective body size of a serving person, to the respective local conditions or to different applications.
  • a striking machine having a hammer mechanism in a machine housing, wherein the machine housing is partially surrounded by a protective housing.
  • a holding rod is provided, which is held on the machine housing via two flanges, which protrude through the protective housing, and vibration damping means.
  • two handles are provided on opposite sides of the support rod.
  • several mounting holes are provided on both sides of the linkage, where the handles can be screwed either optionally.
  • the known percussion machine in this way allows operators with different body size each a comfortable hold during operation.
  • the present invention has for its object to avoid the disadvantages mentioned in a hand tool and to make a comfortable person, situation or a ratesbache change the handle height of the handles.
  • the object is achieved in that the handles are mounted displaceably relative to the tool holder between a plurality of positions and can be locked in a selected position.
  • the displaceable mounting of the handles allows a more comfortable adjustment of the handle height.
  • the handles can thereby be held captive on the power tool.
  • a guide for the displaceable handles is provided on the drive assembly in this case.
  • a housing of the drive assembly or an intermediate carrier, which is held fixed or vibration-reducing to the drive assembly, serve as a direct or indirect guidance of the handles.
  • the guide is formed by a vibration-reducing on the drive assembly held intermediate carrier.
  • the vibration-reducing suspension can be formed for example by spring elements. This makes it possible, in addition to the Adjustability of the handle height to ensure a low-vibration operation of the power tool.
  • the two handles on a fixed connection, whereby they are adjusted and fixed together. In this way, it is ensured that both handles at any time have a matching handle height. In addition, the means for determining this can be reduced.
  • the fixed connection is formed by a permanent connection of both handles with the outer housing.
  • the handles can be formed integrally with the outer housing at least in partial areas of its outer side.
  • the outer housing can be formed almost completely closed, whereby a defective penetration of dirt and dust in the power tool can be prevented.
  • locking means between the fixed connection of the handles and the drive assembly are provided for locking the handles in a selected position.
  • the arrangement of the locking means on the fixed connection thereby causes both handles are determined by the same locking means, whereby the manufacturing cost of these can be reduced.
  • the locking means on a plurality of drive-side locking receptacles, into which a handle-side locking body in an active position for producing a positive connection at least partially protrudes.
  • a particularly stable fixing of the handles relative to the drive arrangement can be achieved.
  • the locking body is formed by an eccentric element which is adjustable by means of a handle between the active position and a passive position in which the form-fitting is canceled.
  • the lock can be solved quickly and without tools to restore them in a new position of the handles just as quickly and without tools can.
  • the single FIGURE shows a hand tool 2 in the form of an electro-pneumatically operated chisel hammer.
  • the hand tool 2 is designed as a stand-up tool, wherein it is supported in operation via a tool 4 in the vertical direction on a substrate 6 to be processed and is usually held by a non-illustrated operator is substantially vertically aligned.
  • the hand tool 2 has an outer housing 8, in which a generally designated 10 drive assembly is partially housed. This has an electrically operated motor 12, a gear 14 and a striking mechanism 16. This impact mechanism 16 acts on a tool holder 20, which is held on a guide tube 18 and in which the tool 4 is held, in the direction of a working direction R.
  • An intermediate carrier 22 is held on the drive arrangement 10 via a vibration-reducing device 24, which is shown schematically as a spring.
  • This intermediate carrier 22 acts as a guide relative to the outer housing 8, which is held parallel to the working direction R of the power tool 2 displaceable on the intermediate carrier 22.
  • the outer housing 8 may also be guided directly through a housing portion of the drive assembly 10.
  • both handles 30 protrudes on a first side 26 and on a side facing away from this second side 28 of the outer housing 8 in each case a handle 30 protrudes.
  • Both handles 30 in this case have a surface 32 which is produced in one piece with the outer housing 8, for example in a common die-casting process. In this way, both handles 30 are fixedly connected to one another via the outer housing 8 and are mounted on the intermediate carrier 22 so as to be displaceable together.
  • a total of 34 designated locking means are provided on the first side 26 of the outer housing 8 between this and the intermediate carrier 22, by means of which the outer housing 8 on the intermediate carrier 22 and thus also with respect to the drive assembly 10 can be fixed. Because of the fixed connection of the two handles 30 with the outer housing 8, it is sufficient to provide locking means 34 only in one area, as here on the first side 26, since these two handles 30 are fixed at the same time.
  • the distance between the handles 30 and the tool holder 20 and thus an effective operating H handle height can be adjusted, resulting from the parallel to the direction R working distance of the handles 30 to a tip 36 of the tool 4.
  • the locking means 34 have on the intermediate carrier 22 a plurality of in the working direction R successively arranged locking receptacles 38.
  • an eccentric member 40 is rotatably mounted, on which an eccentric cam is formed, which acts as a locking body 42.
  • the eccentric member 40 via a handle 44 between an illustrated active position in which the locking body 42 projects into one of the locking receptacles 38, and a dash-dotted illustrated passive position in which the eccentric member 40 is not engaged with any of the locking receptacles 38, adjustable.
  • the handles 30 are fixed by means of the locking means 34 in a position in which the handle height H has a minimum value. If you want to adapt the device, for example, to a body size of the operator, to specific local conditions or a particular type of application that requires a greater handle height H, the eccentric 40 is moved by operation of the handle 44 in the passive position. Subsequently, the outer housing 8 can be moved to a new position relative to the intermediate carrier 22, which corresponds to a desired new handle height Hn, as illustrated by arrow S and two-dotted dashed line.
  • the eccentric element 40 is then pivoted by means of the handle 44 back into the active position in which the locking means 34 again produce a parallel to the working direction R positive connection between the outer housing 8 and the intermediate carrier 22 to the new relative Position of the handles 30 against the drive assembly 10 and the tool holder 20 to secure.
