Description

The invention relates to a film container according to the preamble of claim 1.

Among other things, the film containers serve to protect pharmaceutical active ingredient formulations from environmental influences from the outside, which under certain circumstances may influence the pharmaceutical quality of the active substance formulation.

In some countries, provisions for the child-resistant packaging of medical products are being considered or already in place, in particular to make medicines that have a toxic effect or, if used improperly, a relatively high risk to health, difficult to access for children.

The DE 20 2004 003 781 U1 discloses a child-resistant rectangular package of two interconnected films, whose areal closure area includes at least one receiving space for a filling material. To open the film container, a physical marking completely enclosed by the closure region is provided in the form of a change, in particular weakening or removal of a portion of the edge region. Here, the first mark is a cut or a line formed in the seal edge region closure region of the packaging formed from the films, which does not extend to the edge of the package, and provided as a second mark a line that crosses the first mark and at Buckling releases the first marking towards the outer contour towards tearing. The closure area is widened in the area of an unsealed removal area to a tab which is bent so that the cut becomes part of the outer contour. The opening of the packaging takes place by tearing off a packing end at the location of the cut. In addition, a rectangular bag with a widened in a corner region sealing edge is shown, through which extends an obliquely to the outer contour aligned bending line from the right angles a cut or a punch for tearing the packaging.

The features of the preamble of claim 1 are known from US 4,243,144 known.

It is an object of the invention to provide a film container of the type mentioned, the childproof closed and open over a large area and is easy to produce.

According to the invention the object is achieved by the features of claim 1.

The film container according to the invention has no additional tab or a relation to the receiving chamber changed connection area, as is known from the prior art, which is why it is relatively simple and therefore inexpensive to produce. After the targeted folding or buckling of the films, which is described for example on a side dish, there is a central on or. Rupture of the film container along the marking, which is designed according to the invention as a weakening to remove a primary packaging, a powder, a liquid or other filling material, wherein the marking, for example, a partial weakening of the films, at least tearing of the films with a crack to ensures in the receiving chamber and present after bending at least on the outer edge of the film container.

In order to facilitate the buckling of the films to expose the mark, according to the invention a further marking, which is also designed as a weakening, provided for the targeted buckling of the films in parallel and spaced from an outer edge of the film container. The further marking may, for example, extend over the entire width of the film container and be printed as a line on one of the films. To protect the filling material, the distance between the further marking and the associated outer edge is smaller than the distance from the receiving chamber.

According to the invention, the further marking separates the marking symmetrically, d. H. the mark has the same length on both sides of the further mark. This variant is particularly preferred when tolerance reasons speak in particular in connection with a small length of the marking of, for example, 1 mm against the asymmetrical shape. Also in this embodiment, on the one hand the tearing of the films for removal of the filling material is relatively easy to accomplish and on the other hand, the filling protected due to a relatively large area connection area from environmental influences. To facilitate the removal of the filling material, the marking advantageously runs centrally to the receiving chamber. The marking and the further marking expediently run at right angles to one another.

In an embodiment, the marking is designed as a notch or cut. The further marking is preferably a perforation. Due to these measures, the foil container can be opened without tools and the operations required for opening can be detected intuitively by an adult.

So that the contents are protected from penetrating through the connection area moisture, the two films are connected by a heat sealing lacquer.

Conveniently, the one film as the receiving chamber having carrier film and the other film is formed as a cover sheet. The carrier film of the so-called blister is produced for example by deep drawing. Preferably, the films are formed as metal and / or plastic and / or paper foil. These materials can be present in multiple layers. The support film consists for example on the side facing the contents of an approximately 60 micron thick layer of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), followed by an approximately 45 microns thick aluminum foil, which in turn with an approximately 25 micron thick film of an oriented polyamide ( oPA) is connected. The cover film may, for example, on the side facing the product from a about 5 microns (3 to 7 microns) thick heat sealing lacquer layer, for example, a commercially available polymer mixture based on acrylate, about 20 microns thick aluminum foil and an associated about 23 microns thick Foil consist of a polyethylene terephthalate (PET). Of course, the two films may also be identical or made of other materials, with a PET and a PVC / aluminum laminate per se are difficult to tear.

Aluminum foils also have the advantage that they may protect light-sensitive or UV-sensitive filling material from visible light and UV radiation.

According to a further development, a plurality of film containers are combined to form a blister card and singulated by intersecting perforations. For example, a blister card may comprise six foil containers, each foil container being separated by the intersecting perforations from adjacent foil containers.

In order to make it difficult for a child to open a film container of the complete blister card, preferably the further marking runs parallel and at a distance to a perforation dividing the blister card in its middle. Accordingly, either first a separation of a film container from the blister card with subsequent buckling along the further marking for tearing according to the marking or, if necessary, after separation of the blister card in two halves buckling all film containers on one side of the blister card dividing perforation and the subsequent tearing a film container according to its marking required, the crack profile is considerably more difficult by the continuous edge of the respective opposite film container.

It goes without saying that the features mentioned above and those yet to be explained below can be used not only in the respectively indicated combination but also in other combinations. The scope of the invention is defined only by the claims.

The film container according to the invention is, for example, for the packaging of pharmaceutical formulation containing Dabigatran etexilate, as described for example in the WHERE 03/074056 be described, suitable.

Trained as a blister film container 1 is part of a blister card 2, which is provided with intersecting perforations 3, 4 for separating the film container 1. Each film container essentially comprises two films 5, one of which has a carrier film 9 having a capsule 8 filled with a pharmaceutical agent as a receiving chamber 6 and the other as a cover film 10 connected to the carrier film 9 by means of a heat sealing lacquer is formed, wherein the connecting portion of the two films 5, leaving the receiving chamber 6 extends over the entire surface.

Between two parallel longitudinal outer edges 11 of the rectangular film container 1 is centered on the receiving chamber 6 in the connecting region of the two films 5 is provided as a cut 12 formed mark 13 which is spaced both to the associated frontal outer edge 14 and to the receiving chamber 6. The section 12 serves as a tear-open and lies after a buckling of the film container 1 along a parallel and spaced from the corresponding end-side outer edge 14 extending, designed as a perforation 15 further mark 16 at the corresponding outer edge 14. The over the entire width of the film container 1 extending further mark 16 extends at right angles to the section 12 and separates it so asymmetrically that the course of the section 12 between the receiving chamber 6 and the further mark 16 longer than between the further mark 16 and the adjacent frontal outer edge 14 is. The further marking 16 associated outer edge 14 opens into the centrally extending perforation 3 of the blister card 2, which is why tearing of the film container 1 for removal of the capsule 8 is possible only after a separation.
