Definitions

  • the object of the invention is universal ice-skate and roller-skate, which is suitable for use both on ice and other flat surface for sport and entertainment activities.
  • roller skate is getting more and more widespread.
  • Price of good quality roller skates is quite high and their special drawback is, that they cannot be used on.ice as well.
  • the same refers to ice-skate; they cannot be used outside ice either, so a pair of ice-skates can be used in a limited season of the year, in winter only.
  • roller skates In the state of the art there are several solutions for producing skates, roller skates, Hungarian patent No. P 91 00207 published under No. 61210 dated 28 December 1992 makes known roller skates operating with tread-driven wheels.
  • the sports device made known in it is fixed on the feet, and similarly to the conventional roller skates ensures quite fast, comfortable drive rolling on wheels on a road with solid surface.
  • the essence of it is, that it includes a driven wheel as well, the driving energy of which is ensured by the work of feet treading down the device, placed vertically to its running surface with a foot-holding element, a bottom, which shifts against the power when sinking, and the work is passed to the driven wheel through energy-transferring elements.
  • a roller-skate-like sports device with special toothed drive is made known in Hungarian patent No. P 96 02496 published on 28 January 1998 .
  • the sports device here should be fixed to the legs and it can he used as a roller-skate with side movements, but in accelerated state it can be converted into driven-wheel run while in use. Then after having undone the cut-off by hand or feet guidance, it is possible to move on with the movement of going on steps in a more comfortable way.
  • the lower part remains down, the wheels in line run continuously on the ground, whereas the feet go up and down and the special driving structure of the device drives one wheel each through the free-running part.
  • the shoes and the lower part are arranged into a mutual articulated mechanism with four joints through articulated levers.
  • the other part of the invention is the new specially toothed chain drive, which makes possible the transport of energy with an alternating movement under the conditions of limited space to the continuously running wheel.
  • the patent description CH 579 406 makes known a universal skate structure, which has a frame joining the shoe sole and has a running gear with rollers fixed to the frame, wherein it has rollers or discs joining each other on the ground placed in an angle and connected to the frame.
  • the patent description US 6 003 882 makes known a skate comprising a foot enclosure with a ball region and a heel region includes a first hanger set coupled to the foot enclosure adjacent the ball region, and a second hanger set coupled to the foot enclosure adjacent the heel region.
  • the skate further includes a plurality of wheels corresponding in number to the hangers of the first and second hanger sets wherein the wheels are rotatably and angularly coupled to the corresponding hangers.
  • the skate may be customizable in that the hangers may be selectively and removably coupled to the foot enclosure. A method for customizing a wheel arrangement on a skate is also disclosed.
  • the patent description US 4 323 259 makes known a pair of identical brackets, each have a slot to receive the front, or rear, of the blade of an ice skate, each is detachably affixed thereon by set screws, and each has an upstanding arm which supports a downwardly inclined axle for a large diameter, rubber tired wheel.
  • the front wheel is canted outwardly on the outward side of the shoe with the flattened ground engaging portions of the rubber treads overlapping about a quarter of an inch along the longitudinal center line of the shoe.
  • the brackets may be one piece and detachably affixed under the sole of a shoe.
  • the patent description US 3 885 804 makes known a roller skate having a sole plate, a boot and two large canted equal sized wheels mounted on axles extending outwardly from the sole plate.
  • the canted wheels contact the ground directly beneath the center line of the sole plate.
  • the wheels are dished with their concave sides facing toward the sole plate and a portion of the sole plate extends into the wheel concavities to permit the sole plate to be positioned very close to the ground.
  • roller-skate in the state of the art is, that they are not suitable for using them both on ice and asphalt.
  • the rollers or discs are of symmetrical position and the slanting angle of their axle is the same compared with vertical position.
  • the rollers are wheels with plastic or rubber covering.
  • in the side plate of the discs around the axle a concentric driving flange protruding from the side plate of the disc is formed.
  • Fig 1 shows the front view of the roller skate according to the invention fixed with rollers in wedge shape.
  • Fig 2 shows bottom view of the roller skate according to the invention fixed with rollers in wedge shape.
  • Fig 3 shows axonometric view of the roller skate according to the invention fixed with rollers in wedge shape.
  • Fig 4 shows axonometric view of the ice-skate according to the invention fixed with discs in wedge shape.
  • Fig 5 shows bottom view of the ice-skate according to the invention fixed with discs in wedge shape.
  • Fig 1 shows the front view of the roller skate according to the invention fixed with rollers 7 in wedge shape.
  • the front carrying block 4 and the back carrying block 5 are fixed to the shoe 1 through the frame 2 and the rollers 7 are fixed to the front carrying block 4 and the back carrying block 5 on the axles 26 through the withdrawal bearings 6.
  • the rollers 7 are placed on the axles 26 slanted to each other so, that they touch each other on their lower part touching the ground.
  • the angle of the axles 26 is 60-120°, preferably 85-90°.
  • the bumper 11 is placed in front of the rollers 7 as a sequence of the front carrying block 4 shaped as the sequence of the backbone 3.
  • Fig 2 shows bottom view of the roller skate according to the invention fixed with rollers 7 in wedge shape.
  • the front carrying block 4 fixed to the shoe 1 through the frame 2, as well as the back carrying block 5, which are joined by the backbone 3, ensuring sufficient rigidity.
  • the rollers 7 touching each other at one point of their perimeters in pairs placed along axle 26 can be seen.
  • Fig 3 shows axonometric view of the roller skate according to the invention fixed with rollers in wedge shape.
  • the front and back rollers 7 two each assembly can be seen in the picture, furthermore the backbone 3 and the withdrawal bearing 6 joining it.
  • the backbone 3 and the frame 2 are connected to the bottom of the shoe in the well-known way and formed as one unit.
  • Fig 4 shows axonometric view of the ice-skate according to the invention fixed with discs 8 in wedge shape.
  • This case the discs 8 join the front carrying block 4 as well as the back carrying block 5 through the frame 2, as well as the backbone 3 to the shoe 1.
  • the shape of the discs 8 is preferably formed in a way, that quick slide on ice is made possible by the running edge 9 formed on their outer edge.
  • the driving flange 10 formed on the disc 8 promotes the special drive and acceleration of the skate.
  • Fig 5 shows bottom view of the ice-skate according to the invention fixed with discs in wedge shape.
  • the front carrying block 4 fixed to the shoe 1 through the frame 2, and the backbone 3 as well as the back carrying block 5, with the discs 8 and the bumper 11 can be seen.
  • roller-skate set according to the invention has preferable forms.
  • One of them is the form in wedge shape with rollers 7 or discs 8.
  • rollers 7 or discs 8 slanted to one another on the front and back. Due to resting the rollers 7 or discs 8 is provided with withdrawal bearings 6.
  • the rollers 7 or discs 8 touch each other and rest each other in wedge shape and their outer edge touch the ground or ice.
  • the roller-skate according to the invention has two main versions - with plastic rollers 7 and metal discs 8.
  • the rollers 7 or discs 8 placed in wedge shape are totally fixed, in given angle, they are symmetrically placed to one another and their slanting angle is the same to vertical position, preferably 85-90°
