Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for dehumidifying masonry, in which by connecting wall electrodes inserted into the masonry with the negative pole of a DC voltage source and at least one ground electrode contacting ground electrode with the positive pole of the DC voltage source serving for dehumidifying the masonry current flow between these electrodes is caused.
- the object of the invention is to provide a method of the type mentioned, by which a longer service life of the electrodes, in particular the wall electrodes can be achieved. According to the invention, this is achieved by a method having the features of claim 1.
- two dehumidifying circuits are present, each circle comprising its own wall electrodes and preferably also at least one own bottom electrode. Through these circuits alternately by means of the DC voltage source for dehumidifying the masonry serving current flow is generated. After completion of the serving for dehumidifying current flow through the respective circuit, preferably immediately after its completion, the current flow through this circuit is briefly reversed before a serving for dehumidifying the masonry current flow is generated in the other circle by means of the DC voltage source. It is also possible to use more than two dehumidifying circuits, in which the current flow for dehumidifying the brickwork and the subsequent short-term reversal of the current flow are alternately caused. By such use of at least two dehumidifying circuits with short-term current flow reversal at the end of the respective dehumidification period, the maintenance interval can be significantly extended again.
- a masonry 1 with an installed device for dehumidifying the masonry 1 is shown in a schematic form, with which the inventive method is feasible.
- wall electrodes 2, 3 are used by two dehumidifying circuits.
- both the first dehumidifying circuit at different heights in the wall 1 inserted wall electrodes 2 and the second dehumidifying circuit such at different heights in the masonry 1 used wall electrodes 3.
- the lowermost wall electrodes 2, 3 of a respective circle protrude into the foundation 4 of the masonry 1, as is preferred.
- each drying circuit comprises its own bottom electrode 5, 6, which protrudes into the soil 7 and is in electrical contact with it. It is also conceivable and possible that only a single bottom electrode 5, 6 is present, the two dehumidifying circuits is assigned together.
- the bottom electrodes 5, 6 are located in the vicinity of the masonry 1, preferably, the horizontal distance between the masonry 1 and the respective bottom electrode 5, 6 less than 3 m, with a horizontal distance in the range between 1 m and 1.5 m is preferred. If each dehumidifying circuit has its own bottom electrode 5, 6, these are preferably arranged one above the other in the longitudinal direction of the masonry 1 and preferably in the longitudinal direction of the masonry 1 between these two bottom electrodes 5, 6 Wall electrodes 2, 3 spaced. It can also be provided in the longitudinal direction of the masonry 1 spaced wall electrodes 2, 3.
- the bottom electrodes 5, 6 enforce in the illustrated embodiment, a bottom plate 17, which is located above the soil 7, wherein the bottom plate in the ground floor or, if available, in the basement of the building and depending on the design of the building can also be omitted (for example Buildings with mashed cellars).
- the electrodes 2, 3, 5, 6 are connected via electrical connection lines 8, which are indicated in Fig. 1 only a flat rate, with a control unit 9, from which the electrodes 2, 3, 5, 6 are applied in a suitable manner with voltage.
- FIG. 2 An embodiment of a device for carrying out the method according to the invention is shown schematically in FIG. 2 as a block diagram.
- there are two drying circuits each comprising wall electrodes 2, 3 and at least one bottom electrode 5, 6.
- the bottom electrodes 5, 6 of the two drying circuits are permanently connected to the positive pole 11 of the DC voltage source 10.
- switches 13, 14 are present.
- changeover switches 18, 19, 20 are present.
- a capacitor 21 is charged via a series resistor 22 from the DC voltage source 10.
- This charging takes place during a period in which the switch 13 or the switch 14 is closed and the wall electrodes 2 of the first circle or the wall electrodes 3 of the second circle are connected to the negative pole 12 of the DC voltage source 10 and thus a dehumidification of the masonry first causing current flows.
- a current flow in the opposite direction is briefly caused between the wall electrodes 2, 3 and the at least one bottom electrode 5, 6, between which a current has previously flowed.
- both the changeover switch 18 and the changeover switch 20 are switched from the position shown in FIG. 3 (after the switch 13 has been opened).
- the previously charged by the DC voltage source to positive potential pole of the capacitor 21 is thereby connected to the wall electrodes 2 and the previously charged to negative potential pole of the capacitor 21 is thereby, in the illustrated embodiment, the series resistor 22, connected to the bottom electrode 5.
- the charge of the capacitor 21 thus supports (in addition to the present charging of the masonry 1 and possibly its foundation and the soil 7) the flow of current in the reverse direction and the area around the wall electrodes 2 is positively reloaded.
- the direction of the current flow is briefly reversed, after a dehumidifying the masonry 1 acting current has flowed between the wall electrodes 3 and the bottom electrode 6 of the second dehumidifying circuit.
- the two dehumidifying circuits are operated alternately, each with interposed short-time current reversal between the electrodes 2, 3, 5, 6 of the previously operated dehumidifying circuit.
- the current flow for dehumidifying the masonry is maintained in a respective dehumidifying circuit for a suitable period of at least several hours, for example twelve hours.
- the reversal of the direction of the current flow is, as I said, short-term, i. much shorter than the previously induced current flow used to dehumidify masonry 1, i. at least a factor of 10, preferably at least a factor of 100 shorter.
- the duration over which the current flows in the reverse direction is at least shorter than one minute, preferably shorter than 30 seconds. After this period, the switch 15 is opened again.
- the size of the current flow caused for dehumidifying the masonry 1 may, for example, be in the range of a few mA, e.g. between 3 and 20 mA.
- switches or switches are shown schematically in the form of mechanical switches. Instead, the respective switching operations may be effected, in whole or in part, by electronic switches, as is preferred, for example by a PLC or other microprocessor-based control unit or control logic. If remaining mechanical switches are present, they may be configured as relays operated by the electronic control.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for dehumidifying masonry, in which by connecting wall electrodes inserted into the masonry with the negative pole of a DC voltage source and at least one ground electrode contacting ground electrode with the positive pole of the DC voltage source serving for dehumidifying the masonry current flow between these electrodes is caused.

The object of the invention is to provide a method of the type mentioned, by which a longer service life of the electrodes, in particular the wall electrodes can be achieved. According to the invention, this is achieved by a method having the features of
Due to the momentary reversal of the current flow, ions deposited on the electrodes, in particular on the wall electrodes, are removed from them. It can thereby be achieved a much longer durability of the electrodes, in particular the wall electrodes. On the dehumidification of the masonry this short-term reversal of the current flow has virtually no effect. Through the capacitor used to reverse the current flow, which has been charged during the dehumidification of the masonry, high efficiency is achieved with a simple feasibility of the process.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, two dehumidifying circuits are present, each circle comprising its own wall electrodes and preferably also at least one own bottom electrode.

In Fig. 1, a
Furthermore, each drying circuit comprises its
The
The
The
An embodiment of a device for carrying out the method according to the invention is shown schematically in FIG. 2 as a block diagram. For example, there are two drying circuits, each comprising
After a period of time over which this current flows to dehumidify the
In the same way, the direction of the current flow is briefly reversed, after a dehumidifying the
If, in the context of this document, a "direction of a current flow" is mentioned, then in this case the technical current direction is meant, in which a current flow is always set in the direction of a positive potential to a contrast negative potential. However, the actual direction of movement of the charged particles is also reversed, that is to say in particular of the ions which have accumulated, for example, on the
The current flow for dehumidifying the masonry is maintained in a respective dehumidifying circuit for a suitable period of at least several hours, for example twelve hours.
The reversal of the direction of the current flow is, as I said, short-term, i. much shorter than the previously induced current flow used to dehumidify
Preferably, the duration over which the current flows in the reverse direction is at least shorter than one minute, preferably shorter than 30 seconds. After this period, the switch 15 is opened again.
The size of the current flow caused for dehumidifying the
It can also be provided repeatedly to cause current flows in a respective dehumidifying circuit for dehumidifying the masonry and to cause a current flow in the opposite direction for a short time after a respective such current flow. Only after several such cycles, the other or another dehumidifying circuit is activated in this case.
In Fig. 2, the switches or switches are shown schematically in the form of mechanical switches. Instead, the respective switching operations may be effected, in whole or in part, by electronic switches, as is preferred, for example by a PLC or other microprocessor-based control unit or control logic. If remaining mechanical switches are present, they may be configured as relays operated by the electronic control.
It is also conceivable and possible to use more than two dehumidifying circuits, by which alternately a dewatering of the
