Description
The invention relates to a stone basket with a grid shell made of metal rods welded together in the crossing points and with at least one metallic transverse strut adjoining tensile stress on opposite shell sides.
It is therefore an object of the invention, starting from the above-described prior art to provide a stone basket, which is characterized not only in the filled state by its dimensional accuracy, but also when filling is particularly robust against deformation, and thus can ensure dimensional stability.
The invention solves this problem by the fact that the cross member is welded at the intersection of the welded together metal rods.
Advantageous breakpoints of the transverse strut on the shell sides can be formed when the cross strut is welded at the intersection of the welded together metal rods. Such welds not only offer an easy way to attach a cross strut on the shell side, but also the advantage that any material stresses are reduced by the one-sided welding with the horizontal metal rods in the vertical metal bars, which ensures a particularly strong connection. In addition, in a surprising manner when filling the stone baskets on the position of the cross braces must not be considered. It has been found that the forces acting on the cross braces during filling of the stone baskets will ablate the grid shell resiliently or elastically, because just the metal rods to the cross braces are flexurally soft, so that the cross braces the filling of stone baskets without or with negligible Can survive deformations. According to the invention thus the shape accuracy of the stone basket during and after filling to keep within very narrow limits. For this reason, these stone baskets according to the invention can also be supplied to an automatic filling, for example by a chute or a gripper, which in particular allows a cost-effective and rapid production of such filled stone baskets. In addition, with the stable construction of the stone basket according to the invention a customization, for example, different shell side surfaces to take into account a predetermined course of the footprint, are made possible, so that in particular with such stone baskets or gabions customer requests can be received.
To create stone masons or gabions, such stone baskets are particularly distinguished. According to the method empty stone baskets are lined up, connected to each other via their adjacent shell sides to form a positive bond and subsequently filled with stones. In contrast to other methods in which filled stone baskets lined up or stone baskets are built from steel grid at their site, thus opening up the opportunity to deliver cost-dimensionally stable empty stone baskets similar to finished parts to their site, easy to position and then to connect. The stone baskets according to the invention can then be fed to your site without hesitation an automatic filling, the filling time is reduced to a minimum, which brings a significant cost savings. In addition, the stone baskets according to the invention can be easily adapted to the conditions at the site, whereby the inventive method is additionally distinguished.
