Abstract

Es wird eine Badewanne mit einem Siphon und einem abgesenkten Einstiegsbereich beschrieben, der mittels einer Tür wasserdicht verschließbar ist. Tür und Wanne arbeiten hierzu mit einer Verriegelungsvorrichtung zusammen. Die Verriegelungsvorrichtung ist gemäß der Erfindung mit einem den Verriegelungszustand feststellenden ersten Sensor versehen, und dem Siphon ist eine steuerbare Verschlussvorrichtung beigegeben, wobei der erste Sensor die Verschluss-vorrichtung derart steuert, dass er die Verschlussvorrichtung nur dann schließt, wenn er den Verriegelungszustand der Verriegelungsvorrichtung festgestellt hat. Ferner ist eine Verriegelungsicherungsvorrichtung vorgesehen, die abhängig von einem bestimmten, niedrigen Wasserstand in der Badewanne derart gesteuert wird, dass sie die Verriegelungssicherung bewirkt, wenn dieser Wasserstand überschritten wird.
