Abstract
Ein Trockner (1) für Gegenstände, insbesondere Fahrzeugkarosserien, umfasst einen innerhalb eines Gehäuses (13) angeordneten Trocknertunnel (14), in dessen Seitenwänden (15) eine Mehrzahl von Einlässen (3) angeordnet ist. Über diese kann heiße Umwälzluft gegen die Gegenstände gerichtet werden. Mindestens eine Ansaugöffnung (19) im unterhalb der Gegenstände liegenden Bereich des Trocknertunnels (14) führt Umwälzluft aus dem Trocknertunnel (14) ab. Diese gelangt in mindestens einen seitlich des Trocknertunnels (14) angeordneten Heizraum (22) und wird dort mit Hilfe eines Gebläses (23) nach oben gesaugt. In dem Heizraum (22) ist ein Wärmetauscher (31) angeordnet, der von heißem Primärgas durchströmbar ist und ein Bündel von im wesentlichen parallelen zwischen einem Einlaß-Sammelrohr (32) und einem Auslaß-Sammelrohr (33) geführten Wärmetauscherrohren (35) umfasst. Deren Mantelfläche ist jeweils mit einer Vielzahl von die Oberfläche vergrößernden Erhebungen und/oder Vertiefungen versehen. Die Druckseite des Gebläses (23) kommuniziert mit mindestens einem an der Seitenwand (15) des Trocknertunnels (14) angrenzenden Luftverteilraum (28), von der aus die Umwälzluft über die Einlässe (3) in den Innenraum des Trocknertunnels gelangt. The pressure side of the blower (23) communicates with at least one air distribution space (28) adjoining the side wall (15) of the drying tunnel (14), from which the circulation air passes via the inlets (3) into the interior of the dryer tunnel.
