Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Trocknen von Gütern, insbesondere von Holz (7) oder Holzprodukten, bei dem die Güter in einer Anlage (2) getrocknet werden, die zumindest eine Kammer (3) aufweist, die mit zumindest einer, mit einer Verschlusseineinrichtung (5) verschließbaren Beschickungsöffnung (4) versehen ist, mit zumindest einer aus der Kammer (3) führenden Rohrleitung (12) in der zumindest ein Durchbruch (26) angeordnet ist und die mit der Kammer (3) einen Kreislauf bildet, mit zumindest einer Heizanlage (14) zur Beheizung der Kammer (3), wobei die Rohrleitung (12) mit der Heizanlage (14) über einen Wärmetauscher (13) verbunden ist, und mit zumindest einer Umwälzeinrichtung (11). Die Trocknung wird durch die Führung eines gasförmigen Trockenmediums (10), insbesondere erhitzte Luft, in dem durch die Rohrleitung (12) und der Kammer (3) gebildeten Kreislauf durchgeführt, wobei das Trockenmedium (10) für die Dauer der Trocknung zumindest im wesentlichen nicht ausgetauscht wird und maximal nur jene Menge an Wasserdampf abgeführt wird, die während des Trocknungsvorganges aus dem Holz (7) gebildet wird.
