Definitions
- the present invention relates to a discharge device with a discharge device and a multi-component syringe or cartridge according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a discharge device with multi-component cartridge is for example from US-A-5 005 735 of the same applicant.
- This patent discloses both a lateral insertion and a drawer from above, wherein the side insertion only the cross-sectional ratios of 1: 1 and no coding means are disclosed, so that the cartridge can be inserted in two layers.
- the US-A-5,441,175 discloses a dispenser in which cartridges of various dimensions can be accommodated, but no means are disclosed for inserting the cartridges in a particular direction.
- the EP-A-0 791 403 describes a dispensing device in which the cartridges are inserted from the top and different encoding possibilities are disclosed and finally discloses the U.S. Pat. No. 5,992,694 another dispenser, can be inserted coded into the cartridges, the cartridges are retained with a flap.
- a discharge device which ensures a high level of reliability and can be used in the only syringes or cartridges, which are intended for an associated dispensing device and inserted in a defined position in the device and the syringe for the case the direct Handaustragens has an ergonomically optimal shape.
- Such a device is defined in independent claim 1.
- Fig. 4 of the US-A-5 005 735 is disclosed an embodiment in which the cartridge is inserted from above, wherein the reservoir is inserted with the smaller cross section first such that the reservoir is held with the larger diameter little. It is based on a second object of the invention to attach the syringe or cartridge with reservoir with different cross-section so on the dispenser that the reservoir with the largest cross section and thus with the greatest resistance during discharge is best kept. This object is achieved with the device according to the dependent claim 4.
- Fig. 1 one recognizes a discharge device according to the invention, with a dispensing device 1 and a multi-component syringe 2, here double syringe, the sake of simplicity hereinafter syringe named, the syringe is inserted laterally with respect to the plane defined by the handle 3 and trigger lever 4 of the dispensing device, such as this is indicated by the arrow P in Fig. 2 is indicated.
- Fig. 1 can be seen also the double ram 5 with teeth 6, in which engages a feed system, which then in connection with Fig. 5 is explained.
- the syringe 2 has in the present case two reservoirs 7 and 8, wherein the reservoir 7 has a larger cross-section than reservoir 8 and accordingly a larger volume.
- the syringe On the inlet side, the syringe has a retaining or mounting flange 9 and on the outlet side the two outlets 10 and 11 and fastening means 12, e.g. Bayonet sockets.
- the mounting flange 9 has two legs 16 and 17 which serve as a support for the fingers, in the event that the syringe is actuated by hand, wherein the syringe outlet directed towards the bearing surfaces 13 and 14 on the legs anatomically shaped, ie curved , This results in an angled shape of the mounting flange 9, as best of all FIG. 3 evident.
- This angled shape of the mounting flange results in one of the coding means whereby otherwise conventional commercially available syringes or cartridges can not be used and thus the risk is eliminated that can be used with this dispensing unzert e syringes. How out Fig. 3 Furthermore, it can be seen, the thickness D1 of leg 16 of the mounting flange is greater than the thickness D2 of leg 17 of the mounting flange.
- the syringe holder 18 is designed as a separate replacement part, wherein the syringe holder has an insertion opening 19 which is shaped according to the mounting flange 9.
- the insertion opening 19 has a slot 20 which corresponds to the upper thicker leg 16 of the mounting flange and a second slot 21 which corresponds to the lower, thinner leg 17 of the mounting flange.
- the syringe holder 18, with its U-shaped guide member 22 is inserted into a correspondingly shaped opening in the housing 23 and through the lid 24, see Fig. 1 held, wherein the front cover part overlies a side 25 of a U-shaped shoulder, which is fastened with its two other sides to the retaining wall 26 of the device.
- the device-side wall of the syringe holder has a passage 27 for the plunger and a recess for the plunger plates.
- notch 28 shown on the thicker leg 16 of the mounting flange, which serves as a marker, or visual coding.
- the notch is always mounted on the thicker leg of the mounting flange, which notch coincides with another visual coding, here notch 30, at the cartridge outlet flange 31, or mixer port - see FIG. 4A so that both the syringe and the mixer can be connected in a directional manner, which creates a very high level of operational safety.
- the notches 28 and 30 are also applied to syringes whose reservoirs have a cross-sectional ratio of 1: 1.
- Fig. 7 is drawn in that the contour of the insertion opening 19 is not continuous, but a constriction, for example, on both sides a small nose 29 which must overcome the first Consbende reservoir, whereby the syringe is held. It goes out further Fig. 7 shows that in syringes with different reservoirs, the syringe is always inserted with the largest reservoir first, whereby the flange part is held over a large circumference, while the smaller storage cylinder is held over a sufficient part of the mounting flange. As a result, the greatest forces that arise at the larger storage cylinder, are collected.
- a syringe holder with a corresponding insertion opening is made, but its outer contours are each the same in order to be able to be fixed in the opening of the dispensing device. It is also possible to design the syringe holders so that they can be replaced without first having to remove the lid on the device housing. It should be mentioned in this context that to remove the syringe holder, the double ram must first be pulled out of the device completely.
- a coding of the syringe sizes, or their volume and / or ratio of the reservoir mixing ratio of great advantage.
- the length CL and the width CW of the mounting flange, see FIGS. 3 and 4 for the coding of the syringe volumes, and the opening width OW of the U-shaped guide part of the syringe holder for the coding of the mixing ratios are used.
- a support of coding by coloring remains thereby undone.
- the feed mechanism of the dispensing device is known per se, for. B. from the U.S. Pat. No. 5,992,694 of the same applicant. It is important in such a device to efficiently transfer the force and movement of a lever into a linear forward movement of the plunger.
- a syringe with more than two supply cylinders can be used, wherein when using a dispensing device this usually has the same number of plungers.
- cartridges may be provided.
- the outlet of the syringe or cartridge may be provided for a conventional mixer of the prior art and may receive a known cap or other mixing and dispensing systems and extension parts or tubes may be connected.

Bajonettfassungen. The syringe 2 has in the present case two

In the 1: 1 version, compared with the 4: 1 or 10: 1 versions, only medium-sized forces occur in the storage containers, which are adequately absorbed by the mounting flange.
Based on this, depending on the syringe type and size, a syringe holder with a corresponding insertion opening is made, but its outer contours are each the same in order to be able to be fixed in the opening of the dispensing device. It is also possible to design the syringe holders so that they can be replaced without first having to remove the lid on the device housing. It should be mentioned in this context that to remove the syringe holder, the double ram must first be pulled out of the device completely.

The device has been described with reference to a double syringe, but instead of a double syringe, a syringe with more than two supply cylinders can be used, wherein when using a dispensing device this usually has the same number of plungers. In addition, instead of spraying, as already mentioned, cartridges may be provided. The outlet of the syringe or cartridge may be provided for a conventional mixer of the prior art and may receive a known cap or other mixing and dispensing systems and extension parts or tubes may be connected.
