Definitions
- the invention relates to a hand shower with a shower body.
- the hitherto known hand showers usually have a single jet exit surface, which may optionally have multiple areas.
- the multiple regions can emit different types of water jets.
- diverters which are usually arranged so that they can be operated by Ver ⁇ rotation of a portion of the housing or the handle NEN.
- Normal hand showers have a housing to which the handle is attached laterally or at the back, wherein in most cases the Abstrahiliens the water jets transverse to the longitudinal direction of the handle.
- the invention is based on the object of providing a hand shower that has an extended range of use and offers the designer a greater choice.
- the shower body which is now elongated and thus has an unusual shape, has two beam exit surfaces which are different from one another and each of which is directed in a different direction.
- One of the jet exit surfaces emits their water jets in the direction of the brewing body, while the second jet exit surface emits their jets below an angle to the longitudinal direction of the effervescent body.
- the first jet exit surface is formed on an end face of the shower body. In operation, this then looks like that the water emerging there is similarly discharged as from a hose at the end of a simple nozzle or no nozzle is present.
- the second beam exit surface is formed on a side wall of the shower head. This surface may be located directly in the side wall or project slightly beyond the side wall. The shape of the shower body is practically unchanged or changed by the second jet exit surface.
- the shower body is designed approximately zy ⁇ lindrisch.
- Under cylinder are also those forms to understand that differ from a circular cross-section.
- the second beam exit surface is formed on the shell of the cylinder or parallel to this.
- the shower body can look, is that it is rod-shaped. It does not need to be a straightforward staff. However, it is also possible and preferred by the invention that the longitudinal axis of the shower body is rectilinear.
- the diverter is formed by a part of the shower body housing.
- the invention proposes that the diverter be designed to be movable, in particular displaceable and / or rotatable, relative to the remainder of the shower enclosure.
- the diverter or in other words the part of the shower body, which forms the diverter, at most slightly protrudes over the contour of the rest ⁇ effervescent shower body.
- the diverter is arranged at the hose connection end of the shower body.
- the diverter is arranged in the region of the front end of the shower body, in particular between the two beam exit surfaces.
- the rays of the second beam exit surface which are at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the brewing are discharged se emotionss, rainbeams are, or any rays.
- the beam direction of these beams is preferably 90 ° with respect to the longitudinal axis of the shower body.
- the shower body can have substantially the same cross-sectional shape and the same cross-sectional size throughout its length.
- Figure 1 is a side view of a proposed by the invention
- Figure 2 shows the front view of the hand shower from above in Figure 1;
- Figure 3 shows a cross section through the hand shower along line IM-III in
- Figure 5 is a cross section corresponding to Figure 3 in another
- Figure 5 is a longitudinal section through part of the hand shower in a first position of the diverter
- FIG. 6 shows a representation corresponding to FIG. 5 in a second position of the diverter.
- FIG. 1 first shows the hand shower in a side view.
- a thread 1 for connecting a shower hose is present.
- the shower body 2 of the hand shower has the shape of a circular cylinder, in which do not change over the entire length of the hand shower, the cross-sectional shape and the size of the cross section. In relation to its cross section is the length of the shower body very big.
- a sleeve member 3 is arranged, whose diameter is ge slightly larger than the diameter of the shower body in the remaining area.
- a plurality of jet outlet openings 5 is arranged, which together form a Strahlaus ⁇ outlet surface 6.
- this jet exit surface 6 is rectangular, but since it is the surface of a cylinder, the jet exit surface is in reality a section of a cylinder jacket.
- the individual jet outlet openings 5 are directed in such a way that they all abstract in the same direction with little deviation, wherein they produce a certain fanning out by a slightly divergent arrangement of the outer rows of jet outlet openings 5.
- the front end 4 of the shower body 2 likewise has a jet outlet surface, which is shown on an enlarged scale in FIG.
- This jet exit surface 7 is a flat surface, in which the only existing opening is divided by an insert 8.
- the insert 8 is an arrangement of concentric circular rings and radially extending webs. This creates a full ventilated or unaerated jet.
- FIG. 2 also shows the individual nozzles of the jet outlet openings 5.
- FIG. 3 shows a section through the arrangement of FIG. 1, along line M-II in FIG. 5.
- the sleeve 3 to be seen in FIG. 1 is rotatable and serves to guide the water flowing into the shower body 2 either to the jet exit surface 6 or the Strahlaustritts ⁇ surface 7.
- a diverter 9 is connected, which can be seen in the sections of Figures 3 and 4.
- the diverter can be adjusted by a certain angular amount, the two settings being defined by outer stop elements 10 and counterstops 11 on the shower body 2 arranged on the diverter 9.
- the diverter 9 having a hollow hub 12 has a cylindrical jacket 13, which is connected to the hub 12 via two webs 14.
- the two webs 14 have an angle of about 120 degrees.
- the inner space 15 extending over the smaller arc between the two webs 14 is continuous, while the inner space 16 extending over the larger arc is at the end of the diverter 9 facing the front end 4 of the shower body 2 through a bottom 17 is completed, see Figure 4.
- FIG. 5 shows the diverter in a position in which the jet outlet surface 7 is supplied with water at the front end
- FIG. 6 shows a position in which the lateral jet exit face 6 is supplied with water.
- a longitudinally continuous channel 20 is formed, which ends in an end face 21 of the shower body 2.
- a second channel 22 which leads from this end face to a space 23 behind the jet exit surface 6. This space 23 behind the jet exit surface 6 ends within the shower body second
- the diverter 9 is in a position in which the continuous gap between the hub 12 and the jacket 13 of the diverter is aligned with the channel 20. The water thus exits the channel 20 through the diverter 9 from the jet exit surface 7.
- the diverter is rotated by means of the sleeve 3 so that no longer the continuous gap 15 between the hub 12 and the shell 13 is supplied by the channel 20, the result is the position shown in Figure 6.
- the water flows from the channel 20 into the space 16 extending over the larger arc between the hub 12 and the jacket 13 of the diverter 9 and around the hub 12 into the channel 22. From there, the water flows into the channel Interspace 23, from which it exits through the nozzles 5 of the jet exit surface 6.
