Um eine Entlüftung des Fließbechers zu ermöglichen, kann z.B. ein am Boden des Fließbechers vorgesehenes Entlüftungsventil geöffnet oder ein zunächst geschlossener Entlüftungskanal mit Hilfe eines Stifts oder dgl. durchstoßen werden. Durch ein nach Gebrauch wieder verschließbares Entlüftungsventil oder eine wieder verschließbare Entlüftungsöffnung ergibt sich der Vorteil, dass der Fließbecher auch zur Aufbewahrung nicht vollständig aufgebrauchter Farbe verwendet werden kann.The invention is not limited to the embodiments described above and shown in the drawing. Claims (9)

  1. Use of a reservoir as a fluid reservoir for a paint spray gun, the reservoir having a cup-shaped container (1), a cover (2) which can be placed on the container (1) and a connecting part (3) formed on the container (1) or on the cover (2), characterised in that a flexible transition region (12) is formed between the connecting part (3) and the container (1) or the cover (2) to adjust the inclination of the centre axis (13) of the container (1) or of the cover (2) relative to the centre axis (14) of the connecting part (3).
  2. Use of a reservoir according to claim 1, characterised in that a wall thickness transition from a thicker wall thickness at the connecting part (3) to a thinner wall thickness at the container (1) or the cover (2) is provided at the transition region (12) between the connecting part (3) and the container (1) or the cover (2).
  3. Use of a reservoir according to claim 2, characterised in that the wall thickness difference at the transition from the connecting part (3) to the container (1) or cover (2) is at least 30%.
  4. Use of a reservoir according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that a radius (15) is provided at the transition from the connecting part (3) to the container (1) or the cover (2).
  5. Use of a reservoir according to claim 1, characterised in that the transition region (12) is formed in the manner of bellows.
  6. Use of a reservoir according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the connecting part (3) contains a screw wedge element (9, 10) for a rapid connection of the fluid reservoir to the paint spray gun.
  7. Use of a reservoir according to claim 6, characterised in that the screw wedge element (9, 10) is formed by a screw wedge-shaped projection (9) extending approximately over half the periphery of the connecting part (3), with a screw wedge face (10) for engagement with a corresponding counterface on a lug or projection of the paint spray gun.
  8. Use of a reservoir according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the connecting part (3) contains an external thread (6) for screwing into a conventional internal thread.
  9. Use of a reservoir according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the container (1) and/or the cover (2) with the connecting part (3) consists of a resilient, non-brittle plastics material, preferably PE or plastics material with a high PE content.
