Claims (4)

  1. Blank (10) for the production of a packaging, having two longitudinal sealing edges (20) and one transverse sealing edge (30), which are provided with sealing medium, the blank (10) being rectangular and the sealing edges (20, 30) each extending immediately at or at least very close to the outer periphery of the blank in such a way that, when the blank is folded about a fold line (40) running parallel to the transverse sealing edge (30), the latter can be joined to the opposite, seal-free edge (50) of the blank to form a fin-seal (70),
    characterized in that
    the sealing edges (20) running perpendicular to the fold line (40) end a distance away from the seal-free edge (50) of the blank (10), so that the seal-free edge (50) runs continuously across the entire associated width of the blank (10).
  2. Blank according to claim 1,
    characterized in that
    a seal-free gripping corner (60) is defined at at least one corner region between transverse and longitudinal sealing edge (20, 30).

    the blank (10) is folded about a fold line (40) running parallel to the transverse sealing edge (30) in such a way that the latter edge is joined to the opposite, seal-free edge (50) to form a fin-seal, the packaging being reclosable to form a lap-seal (80) once the fin-seal (70) has been opened.
