Description

The invention relates to a component set with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1. Such a kit is from the DE 197 09 154 A1 known.

The set of components consists of one or more rungs and two or more than two sprouts end pieces and is used for installation in an insulating glass, in which two glass panels are held by a frame-shaped spacer at a distance and glued together. In particular, it is about insulating glass panes, in which the frame-shaped spacer consists of a thermoplastic strand. Such an insulating glass pane is formed by initially assembling the strand on one of the two Insulating glass is extruded along its edge and spaced from its edge, so that it adheres to the glass sheet. Then, the two glass sheets are joined together to form a half-finished insulating glass pane, so that the two glass sheets are adhesively bonded together by the thermoplastic spacer. Then the half-finished insulating glass pane is pressed, so that the glass panels occupy a predetermined distance from each other with simultaneous straining of the spacer. The semi-finished insulating glass has a limited by the outside of the spacer and through the two glass panels, outwardly open edge joint, which is subsequently filled with a pasty sealant, which is usually a two mixed together existing plastic compound which hardens and thereby producing a firm bond between the glass sheets. As curing sealing compounds polysulfides (thiokoles) are common, but also polyurethane. One-component curing sealing compounds are also known. As a material for thermoplastic spacers Butyl rubbers (polyisobutylenes) are common.

If it is desired to install rungs in an insulating glass pane, this is done after the application of the frame-shaped spacer to the one glass panel and before the two glass panels are joined together. For reasons of weight saving and material savings, the sprouts are usually thin-walled metallic hollow profile rods which can be painted.

In the simplest case, a single rung is installed in the insulating glass pane. For this purpose, the rung after the revelation of DE 197 09 154 A1 provided at its two ends with a sprout tail, which is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the rung and the rung either encloses at its respective end or inserted in the hollow rung. This makes it possible to make the rung shorter than the clear width of the frame-shaped spacer in which the rung is to be used. After positioning the rung between the legs of the frame-shaped spacer The sprouts end pieces are pushed beyond the ends of the rung out until they penetrate with sharp-edged projections in the thermoplastic spacer and anchor the shoots to the spacer. An unintentional backward movement of the sprouts tail on the rung or in the rung is inhibited or hindered in the known component set in a suitable manner, for example, by a frictional engagement between the rung and the sprouts, or by a provided on the sprouts tail barb-like corrugation, although the advancing of the Sproutsendstücks on the rung allows, but not a movement in the opposite direction, because then a cutting edge, which is located at the end of the rung, engages the barb-like corrugation of the tail.

Instead of a single rung, an arrangement of several intersecting rungs, which is also referred to as a rung frame, can be used in an insulating glass pane. In this case, each directed against the frame-shaped spacer sprouts end of the sprout assembly carries a sprouts tail, which is advanced after inserting the sprout assembly in the space surrounded by the frame-shaped space over the sprouting end and anchored to the spacer.

The handling of such a rung arrangement is not very easy, especially if it is intended for a larger insulating glass pane. The rung arrangement does not behave like a rigid structure prior to its installation and therefore it is difficult to position such an arrangement right at the exact location at the predetermined location. Rather, it happens that the sprout assembly deformed in the attempt to position them in the space surrounded by the spacer, the still soft thermoplastic spacer and / or injured.

The present invention has for its object to provide a way to reduce the risk that a thermoplastic spacer deformed or injured when inserting a rung or a rung arrangement.

This object is achieved by a component set with the features specified in claim 1 and by a component set with a two-piece sprouts tail with the features specified in claim 10. Advantageous developments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

The component set according to the invention consists of at least one rung and at least two sprouts end pieces for installation in an insulating glass pane, in which two glass panels are held by a frame-shaped spacer at a distance and glued together. The sprout end pieces have on the one hand means for their anchoring to the spacer and on the other hand a holder for an end of a rung. At least one sprouts tail per rung, the holder is designed so that the rung is inserted with its end transversely to its longitudinal direction in the holder of the sprouts tail or with a attached to the rung first part of a two-piece sprouts tail perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the rung with an am Spacer anchored second part of the sprouts tail is positively and / or non-positively connectable.

The invention defined in claim 1 has significant advantages:
  • â—† The spade end pieces, in the holder of which the end of a rung can be introduced transversely to its longitudinal direction, can be anchored to the spacer before they are attached to the rungs.
  • â—† The spade end pieces, in which the rungs can be inserted with one end transversely to their longitudinal direction, can be individually and manually positioned more easily and accurately than if they were already part of an unstable, inherently non-rigid sprout arrangement. The position provided for the respective sprout end piece can, for example, in the course of the formation of the thermoplastic spacer by Printing by means of an inkjet printer or puncturing by means of a stamp accurately marked and set the sprouts tail very precisely at the marked location and anchored by sharp or sharp projections that penetrate into the thermoplastic spacer at this.
  • â—† Unintentional injuries and deformations of the still soft thermoplastic spacer can be avoided in this way. Deformations of the spacer during penetration of the sharp or sharp projections can be additionally countered with ease by applying a counter-holder, which does not adhere to the thermoplastic spacer, to the side of the spacer facing away from the rung-end piece during the anchoring of the sprout end piece to the spacer.
  • â—† Once the sprouts have been anchored to the spacer, it will stabilize the spacer during insertion of the rung into the sprouts tail.
  • â—† If a rung or a rung arrangement is used, then each end of a rung free of a sprout end piece does not strike the thermoplastic spacer, but the associated sprout end piece already anchored to the spacer and acts directly only on this, but not on the thermoplastic spacer ,
  • The force acting on the sprouts tail when inserting the end of a rung is directed predominantly transversely to the longitudinal direction of the rung and thus also predominantly transversely to the surface of the spacer on which the sprouting tail is anchored. This makes it possible to initiate the forces occurring during insertion of the end of a rung into a sprout end piece predominantly into the glass sheet on which the thermoplastic spacer adheres, thereby limiting the introduction of forces into the thermoplastic spacer to an uncritical degree.

In principle, it is sufficient to provide at one end of a rung an inventively designed sprout end piece, in the holder of which the end of the rung can be inserted transversely to its longitudinal direction. At the opposite end of the rung could be a conventional sprouts tail, for example, in the way it in the DE 197 09 154 A1 is disclosed. Is in a anchored to the spacer, inventively designed sprouts tail once the end of a rung correctly positioned and recorded, you can pivot the opposite end of the rung with a conventional sprouts tail provided in a local leg of the spacer opposite position and by advancing the sprouts tail over anchor the sprout end to the leg of the spacer. It is also within the scope of this invention, however, not only inventively invented sprouts end pieces, but also conventionally trained sprouts end pieces to anchor in advance individually at a predetermined point of the frame-shaped thermoplastic spacer and then stuck when inserting a sprout assembly first sprouts ends in or on the conventional sprout tails and then to insert the remaining sprouts ends by pivoting the sprout assembly in the bounded by the frame-shaped spacer space in the inventively designed Sprossenendstücke.

Preferably, however, sprout end pieces designed according to the invention are provided for all sprout ends. This has the advantage that you can get along in the kit with a single type sprouts and that the built sprout assembly has the same appearance at all its ends.

The holder provided for receiving the end of a rung on the sprout end piece defines the sprout end in such a way that the rung retains a predetermined position in the assembled insulating glass pane. For this purpose, the holder of the invention takes the end of the sprout so that this at least against by a positive engagement and / or adhesion Movements in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the rung is secured. In this case, a positive connection is particularly preferred. In particular, in the longitudinal direction of that leg of the spacer to which the sprouts tail is anchored, a movement of the rung is to be prevented by means of the holder.

To prevent movement of the sprout ends transversely to the surface of the glass sheets can be supported in a conventional manner, the sprouts and / or the sprouts end pieces in the immediate vicinity of the spacer on the two glass sheets. Preferably, the sprouts end pieces according to the invention are designed so that they prevent movement of the sprouts end pieces also transversely to the glass sheets and for this purpose, the holder brings about an effective in the direction transverse to the surface of the glass sheets positive engagement and / or adhesion.

If a rung is taken with its two ends between two mutually opposite Sprossenendstücken, it is held captive between them. A game in the longitudinal direction of the rung is basically tolerable, but should be kept as small as possible. With regard to a use of the component set in combination with a thermoplastic spacer, however, it is preferred that the sprout end pieces enter into a positive engagement with the rung, which also secures the rung against movements in the longitudinal direction of the rung. This has the advantage that a rung, which runs vertically in an insulating glass, with its weight not only on the lower leg of the spacer loads, but is suspended by the positive engagement on the upper leg of the spacer, so that their weight not only on one, but distributed on two legs of the spacer.

An advantageous possibility to introduce the end of a rung laterally in the sprouts tail and therein against movements transverse to the longitudinal direction of Secure rung, is to provide stops on a base plate of the sprouts Endstükkes, which protrude from the base plate and receive the end of a rung between them. At least one of these stops is preferably formed as a tongue which projects obliquely from the base plate, is directed at a set end of the sprouts against the rung and can be pressed to insert the sprout end resiliently in the direction against the base plate, in particular in a recess of the base plate. This allows a very simple insertion of the rung by the latter is moved laterally against the tongue, slides on the tongue and presses it against the base plate. When the end of the sprout is completely moved over the tongue, the tongue springs up again and locks the end of the sprout. It is particularly advantageous if two mutually opposite and oppositely directed tongues are provided on the base plate, because these can absorb the sprout end resiliently between them and resiliently center between the two glass sheets of the insulating glass pane. In addition, one must not pay particular attention to their orientation in a sprouts tail, which has two opposing tongues when anchoring the sprouts tail on the spacer.

A convenient way to form the sprouts tail so that the sprouts end can be inserted transversely to the longitudinal direction of the rung, is that a bracket is provided as a holder, which has two opposite legs on a base plate of the sprouts tail, of which at least one resiliently parallel is deflectable to the base plate and between which the end of the rung transversely to its longitudinal direction is inserted. In such a clip, the sprout end can be inserted under widening of the clip and then locked, so that the clip encloses the end of the rung form-fitting manner. This is counteracted by the fact that sprouts frequently have a cross-section which is not rectangular but has inclined surfaces which facilitate insertion into a clamp.

Conveniently, the clip is formed so that it is able to center the rung between the two glass sheets of an insulating glass pane so that the rung does not touch the two glass sheets. For this purpose, the mutually facing sides of the bracket may have a contour which is adapted or approximated to the contour of the rung. Particularly preferred is an embodiment in which recesses are provided in the rung near its ends, in which the legs of the brackets can engage. By such an intervention can be ensured that the end of a rung in such a bracket occupies a precisely predetermined position.

Another convenient way to ensure that a rung introduced into a sprouts tail can not move in the sprouts tail in the longitudinal direction of the rung, is to provide the sprouts tail with a base plate on which two mutually parallel angle rails are mounted, which in have a distance from the base plate against each other directed legs, which are insertable into matching slots in the rungs. In the installation position, the angle rails expediently extend transversely, in particular at right angles, to the glass panels and the matching slots are located in narrow sides of the rungs.

If the sprout end piece has a base plate, then this is particularly well suited to provide pointed projections, mandrels or cutting edges, with which the sprout end piece can be anchored to the thermoplastic spacer. For this purpose, the sprouts tail is pressed against the thermoplastic spacer until the base plate abuts against it. If necessary, you can support the spacer during pressing with a counter-holder. The baseplate is also well-suited to stabilize the spacer at the base of the rungs and to distribute the loads from the rungs to a larger area of the spacer. The base plate need not be formed closed, but may have openings, which are formed, for example, that the elements of the holder for the Sprossenende and the pointed projections, mandrels or blades for anchoring the sprouts tail on the spacer by cutting out of the base plate and bending are formed.

However, the sprout end piece according to the invention can also be produced inexpensively as a molded part made of plastic by injection molding. That's preferable.

Die erfindungsgemäßen Sprossenendstücke können einteilig ausgebildet sein. The sprout end pieces according to the invention may be formed in one piece.

However, it may also be advantageous to form the sprouts end pieces in two parts. In an advantageous two-piece sprouts tail, the means for anchoring to the spacer and the holder for the sprout end are located on different parts of the sprouts tail, which are designed so that they transversely to the longitudinal direction of the rung form-fitting and / or non-positively, in particular by a groove and - Spring arrangement can be connected together. This has significant advantages. First, for rungs with different cross sections, the same part can be used for anchoring to the spacer. Secondly, the portion of the sprouts tail to be connected directly to the end of a rung can be connected to the sprouting ends prior to the insertion of a rung assembly into the insulating glass without the disadvantages of the prior art. Third, the nature of the connection between the two parts of the sprouts end piece is not subject to any restrictions on the type and shape of the rungs and therefore allows more favorable and diverse connection options than in the case that the kit contains one-piece sprouts end pieces.

The advantages that are specified for a component set according to claim 1, mutatis mutandis, apply to a component set with two-piece sprouts tail.

In a two-piece sprouts tail the holder for the end of the rung can be formed as in a conventional sprouts tail, as for example in the DE 197 09 154 A1 is revealed, so that part of the Sprossenendstückes can be connected by a plugging movement in the longitudinal direction of the rung with this, in particular by a engaging in the rung fitting piece, which is preferably held therein frictionally. The other part of the two-piece sprouts tail preferably has a base plate with pointed projections, thorns, cutting or the like means, as they are preferably also provided with a sprouts tail according to claim 1 and explained there. It can be anchored to a thermoplastic spacer like a one-piece sprouts tail. The groove and spring arrangement extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the rung, by means of which the two parts of the sprout end piece can preferably be connected to one another, are formed on the mutually facing sides of the two parts of the sprout end piece, with the groove and the spring being at right angles to extend to the two glass panels. Particularly suitable is a dovetail joint between the two parts of the sprouts tail, through which the sprouts end is fixed both in the longitudinal direction of the rung and transversely to the dovetail. A fixation in the longitudinal direction of the dovetail can be achieved by forming the groove and the spring matched to each other so that they lock together in a middle position.

Instead of a dovetail joint can also provide a groove on the one part of the two-piece sprouts tail, in which a formed on the other part spring engages with a rounded contour, in particular with an oval or a circular contour, whereby both the insertion of the spring in the groove Also, the latching of the spring is facilitated in a middle position in the groove.

Embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Identical or mutually corresponding parts are denoted in the various examples by matching reference numerals.

That in the FIGS. 1 to 4 shown one-piece sprouts tail 1 is part of a kit according to claims 1 to 5. It has a base plate 2, which is preferably flat. The base plate 2 has an approximately rectangular outline with rounded corners. At the bottom of the base plate 2 a plurality of tapered mandrels 3 are provided; In the example shown, there are four mandrels 3, which are arranged symmetrically to the two mutually perpendicular center lines of the base plate 2. Furthermore, the base plate 2 has two recesses 4, in each of which a tongue 5a, 5b in the vicinity of the longitudinal edge of the base plate 2 is based and at an acute angle, which is preferably between 20 ° and 45 °, rises above the top of the base plate 2 , The tongues 5a, 5b are arranged symmetrically to the center line AA, which intersects the longitudinal edges 2c of the base plate 2 and are directed against each other. Parallel to the narrow edges 2d of the base plate 2 protrude from this two preferably planar design guide elements 6 upwards. The tongues 5 a, 5 b and the guide elements 6 rise approximately equidistant over the upper side of the base plate 2.

In order to use a rung 10 or an arrangement of rungs 10 in an insulating glass pane, first sprouts end pieces 1 in the required number of predetermined locations on the inside of a anchored thermoplastic spacer 7, which is applied to a first glass sheet 8 and adheres to this. As the inside of the spacer 7 is that side which faces the interior of the insulating glass in the finished insulating glass.

The width b of the sprouts tail 1 is chosen so that it is less than or equal to the distance between the two glass sheets 8 and 9 in a finished insulating glass pane. In FIG. 5 an example is shown in which the width b of the sprouts tail 1 is equal to the distance between the two glass sheets 8 and 9 in the finished insulating glass pane. Therefore, the sprouts tail 1 could be positioned on the spacer 7, that it rests with its one longitudinal edge 2c of the glass sheet 8. In a so-positioned sprouts tail 1, a rung 10, as in FIG. 5 shown are introduced from the side at right angles to the glass sheet 8, wherein the end of the rung 10 moves closely over the base plate 2 or on this. When inserting the rung 10, the end of the rung 10 strikes the tongue 5 a, slides over it and presses it against the base plate 2 and optionally into its cutout 4. When the spacing of the tongues 5a and 5b from each other in their erected position, as in FIG. 2 is smaller than the thickness D of the rung 10, then the rung 10 strikes the tongue 5b before it has completely crossed over the tongue 5a and, with further insertion of the rung 10, the tongue 5b is resiliently set to a steeper position. If the rung 10 has finally crossed the tongue 5a, the tongue 5a springs up again and the tongues 5a and 5b clamp the rung 10 between them in a springy manner.

The spacing of the guide elements 6 is matched to the width B of the rung 10. The guide elements 6 serve the lateral guidance of the rung 10 when inserted into the sprouts tail. In addition, form the guide elements 6 for the imported sprouts ends stops that prevent displacement of the sprouting ends along the spacer 7. The tongues 5a and 5b and the guide elements 6 form a holder which the position of the end of the rung 10th determined, see FIG. 6 , If all rungs 10 of a rung arrangement are inserted with their ends into sprout end pieces 1 in the manner described, the insulating glass pane can be closed and pressed by approaching a second glass panel 9 to the first glass panel 8, the second glass panel 9 of the first glass panel 8 being at most impacting can be approximated to the sprouts tail 1. In this case, the spacer 7 is plastically compressed and establishes a tight bond between the two glass sheets 8 and 9.

The assembly of the insulating glass pane can be modified so that the sprouts end pieces 1 are not anchored to the glass sheet 8 adjacent to the spacer 7, but centered on the width of the spacer 7 so that they have at least a distance from the glass sheet 8. This has the advantage that during the subsequent closing and pressing of the insulating glass pane, the spacer 7 experiences a symmetrical compression.

The assembling of the insulating glass pane can furthermore be modified such that sprout end pieces are used whose width b is smaller than the distance of the two glass sheets 8 and 9 provided in the insulating glass pane. In this case, the sprout end pieces 1 are also anchored centrally on the spacer 7, see FIG that they have the same distance as possible in the finished insulating glass pane to both glass sheets 8 and 9.

That in the FIGS. 7 and 8 illustrated embodiment according to claim 9 differs from that in the FIGS. 1 to 6 illustrated embodiment that the guide elements 6 are not flat structures, but angle rails whose angled legs 6a facing each other and positively engage in slots 11, which are provided in the narrow sides 10a of the rungs 10. As a result, they prevent movement of the rungs 10 in their longitudinal direction 12.

That in the FIGS. 9 and 10 illustrated embodiment shows a two-piece sproot tail 1 according to claims 10 to 15, consisting of a first part 1a, which has a base plate 2a and on top of which a fitting 13, which - as in FIG. 10 shown - can be inserted into a hollow rung 10 and frictionally fixed therein. For this purpose, the fitting is provided with a corrugation 14. In the base plate 2a is a downwardly open, dovetail-shaped groove 15th

The second part 1 b of the sprouts tail has a base plate 2 b, the underside carries mandrels 3, which as well as the mandrels 3 in the example of FIGS. 1 to 4 may be formed and arranged. The top of the part 1b is provided with a dovetail spring 16 which fits into the groove 15.

To insert a rung 10 into an insulating glass pane, first the first part 1a with its fitting 13 is inserted into the hollow rung 10. Then, the second part 2b is based on the FIGS. 1 to 6 manner anchored to a thermoplastic spacer 7. Subsequently, the end of the rung 10 is pushed with the plug-in part 1 a of the sprouts tail on the spring 16 and thereby fixed.

The position of the groove 15 and the position of the spring 16 can be interchanged with each other, d. H. the spring 16 can also be provided on the underside of the base plate 2a and the associated groove 15 in the base plate 2b.

That in the FIGS. 11 to 14 illustrated embodiment according to claims 16 and 17 differs from that in the FIGS. 9 and 10 illustrated embodiment in that the groove 15 is provided in the second base plate 2b. The groove 15 is undercut, but not dovetailed; Rather protrude from the ends of the groove four tongues 17 obliquely toward the center of the groove 15 without hitting each other with their tips. In the middle of the groove project from the long sides of two stubby Extensions 18 in the groove 15 without hitting each other. The tongues 17 and the stubby extensions 18 have, as it is FIG. 12 shows a distance from the bottom 15a of the groove 15th

At the bottom of the first base plate 2a is centrally located a circular extension 16a with T-shaped longitudinal section. The longitudinal section is here understood to mean a section in the direction of the longitudinal direction 12 of the rung 10. The extension 16a has a neck 16b and a head 16c. The extension 16a performs the function of a "spring" which can be inserted into the groove 15 and locked therein. For this purpose, the head 16c slides under the tongues 17 and the extensions 18, between the tips of the neck 16b snaps after he had pressed two of the tongues 17 resiliently on the way there.

In the FIGS. 7 and 13 the cross-sectional shape of a typical rung 10 is shown, which has at the transition between its broad sides 10b and their narrow sides 10a inclined surfaces 19, which give the rung 10 a graceful appearance and at the same time facilitate the insertion of the rung 10 in an inventive end piece 1 sprouts.
