Abstract

The system has a monitoring device (14), which monitors a person passing a preset escape door security area (15). The escape door security area is provided such that a person should enter into the escape door security area for passing through the escape door in escape direction. The monitoring device activates a local warning signal for deterring the intruded person from actuating the escape door, as long as the person is found in the escape door security area. The device deactivates the signal, when the person leaves the security area. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for deterring a person from actuating the escape door of the rescue route (2) an application of the monitoring device, in particular a motion detector.

Description

The invention relates to a system for deterring persons from the actuation of an escape door of an escape route and a method for deterring persons from operating an escape door of an escape route.

Escape routes with escape doors are an integral part of emergency plans in public buildings. These escape routes must be constantly accessible, which means that the escape doors in the direction of escape must always be openable. This means, on the one hand, that the escape doors must not be blocked and, on the other, that people escaping from the escape or panic side must be able to operate and open the escape door without the aid of aids, such as keys, key cards, etc. Depending on the type of public building, this is required, for example, by DIN EN 179 or DIN EN 1125. A control device having the features of the preamble of claim 1 is known from DE-A-199 43 040 known.

One problem is to be able to protect the escape doors, despite the required accessibility in the direction of escape, effectively against unauthorized entry. It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a system with which the accessibility of an escape route and the Öffenbarkeit an escape door located in the escape direction is always guaranteed and at the same time a protection against unauthorized inspection or actuation of the escape door is given.

This object is achieved with a system having the features of claim 1.

The basic idea of the invention is therefore to monitor, by means of a monitoring device, whether at least one person is present in a predetermined area of an escape route, with the term object also including objects in addition to persons. The monitoring of this area is done on the one hand to secure the escape door against unauthorized opening, that is, the escape door security area is suitably set so that a person who wants to operate the escape door and commit must pass this area. On the other hand, it should be determined by the monitoring, if persons or objects are unauthorized in the Rescue route area are located. For example, objects parked in the escape route and in particular in the area of the escape door can lead to an unobstructed. Inspection of the emergency route or a perfect Öffenbarkeit the escape door in an emergency are not given.

The monitoring device is designed so that it detects both objects that are already in commissioning the monitoring device in the escape door security area as well as objects that penetrate only during operation in the escape door security area. If, for example, a person enters the escape door security area, or if a person is already in the escape door security area during commissioning, the escape route monitoring system in the form of a system for deterring persons from actuating an escape door of a rescue route emits a local signal which is located in the escape door security area Person in the manner of an alarm warns that she is about to push an escape door. At the same time, other persons in the vicinity are aware of the operation of the escape door by the invader. As a result, therefore, the inhibition threshold is increased for an actuation of the escape door. The inventive system thus deterred unauthorized persons from committing the escape doors and thus offers a higher level of security against unauthorized walking on the escape door. It also protects against inadvertent entry of the escape doors, as it indicates persons who are about to operate the escape door, before the operation on the escape door.

Overall, therefore, the frequency of unauthorized escape door operation is significantly reduced. This is advantageous because often with each actuation of an escape door, a main alarm is triggered in the building, which in turn further consequences, such as evacuation of a building or building parts, triggering an unintentional alarm, a review of the alarm message (eg by an on-site or by checking video camera records), etc. It also keeps people from using escape routes in normal situations, as they are often reserved exclusively for emergency situations.

Another advantage of the invention is that persons are advised to position or leave objects in the vicinity of the escape doors, which entail blocking the escape door and / or can present a source of danger to escaping persons in an emergency. For example, in an escape door that leads out of a building directly to the outside, the monitoring device will recognize that an object has penetrated into the escape door security area when z. B. a person their motor vehicle or the like positioned directly in front of the escape door, so that it is blocked and can not be fully opened. Accordingly, the system will trigger a local signal that indicates the person that their motor vehicle is in the vicinity of the escape route, so that this person will normally park or move their motor vehicle away. Likewise, the escape route monitoring system will trigger a local alarm when items are placed on the inside of the escape door, such as pallets, boxes, etc. The local alarm also notifies the person in the vicinity, as well as the person who has brought the item into the escape door security area. In addition, the local alarm may be time adjustable, and after that predetermined time has elapsed, the system may be configured to initiate a main alarm, for example, by transmitting a corresponding signal to a building control center. Overall, therefore, a higher security is granted against blocking the escape route or the escape door by standing in the way of objects.

The escape door security area is preferably set in such a way that on the one hand it covers the area which the escape door needs for raising and lowering, so that blocking of the escape door is avoided. On the other hand, when specifying the escape door security area, care must be taken to ensure that the area is designed in such a way that a person who wishes to commit or actuate the escape door must penetrate into the escape door security area. This ensures that all persons who intend to operate the escape door, before the operation be detected by the monitoring device. Due to the fact that the escape door security area can be predetermined, it is variably adaptable to the present circumstances, for example height and width of the corridor or space in front of the escape door, size of the escape door, etc. Likewise, the escape door security area is flexibly adjustable with respect to at least the area of the escape route that is free from objects of any kind to ensure that the escape route or exit door is not blocked.

Conveniently, the escape door security area is located in the immediate vicinity of the escape door. That does not mean that it necessarily has to be located adjacent to the escape door. However, it is important that the distance between the escape door and the escape door security area does not become so great that it loses its functional connection. A general room monitoring of a room adjoining the escape door, for example, is not in direct functional connection with the escape door and can not be used as a monitoring system for the escape door security area. For example, a person entering the escape door security area should be able to associate the triggering of the local signal with their approach to the escape door. This is not the case if escape door and escape door security area are too far apart.

In principle, the monitoring device can be any device known from the prior art which is suitable for monitoring a spatial region as to whether there are objects in this region. In addition to the monitoring device, the system preferably further comprises a control device which is in data communication with the monitoring device and which evaluates the data determined or measured by the monitoring device. This function can also be designed integrated directly in the monitoring device. Furthermore, an output device for outputting the local signal is expediently provided. This output device can also be integrated in the monitoring device. The monitoring device, the control device and the output device are expediently arranged in the vicinity of the escape door and can be mounted both surface-mounted and flush-mounted.

Within a rescue route, of course, several escape doors may be present, in which case an inventive system is to be arranged at each escape door. Alternatively, it is also possible to provide a single networked system, in which case at least one monitoring device is arranged at each escape door, which transmits the determined data to a central control device. At each escape door is also an output device to provide a local signal. The term "local signal" is to be understood as meaning that the signal is output locally at least in the area of the escape door or in the area of the escape door security area, so that an intruder or a person who introduces an object into the escape door security area, this local Can perceive signal. In principle, the local signal can also be output in such a way that it can be perceived beyond the escape door security area, for example by persons staying near the escape door security area, it being important to ensure that the output is restricted locally so that the local signal Perceptible persons can establish a connection between the escape door or the escape door security area and the signal. The signal is preferably output in the form of an alarm and is also referred to as a pre-alarm, which triggers before the main alarm, which is triggered, for example, when operating an escape door by means of a separate system, such as a contactor between the door and door frame. The main alarm is normally triggered throughout the building or in an alarm center, while the pre-alarm is limited to a local alarm at the point of origin.

In principle, the escape door security area in the direction of escape can be arranged in front of the escape door, after the escape door or on both sides. Preferably, the escape door security area is arranged in the direction of escape in front of the escape door. This arrangement is useful because escape doors are normally open only in the direction of escape at any time and so there is the greatest risk of unauthorized inspection. Contrary to the direction of escape, the escape doors are often only by means of appropriate tools, such as keys or key cards, operated and thus locked for unauthorized persons. In addition, the escape door security area can also be extended to this side of the escape door. This is useful if, due to the existing circumstances on this page blocking the escape door is to be expected by carelessly parked objects or the like.

In order to prevent the system from issuing the local signal even when authorized persons make the escape door, or entering the escape door security area or bringing objects into it, an access control device is expediently provided. If the access control device detects that a person or an object has an access authorization, for example a key, a key card, a transponder, a pin code, etc., the output of the local signal is suppressed by the system in response thereto. Further, in this case, a main alarm normally to be issued in the case of unauthorized opening of the escape door can be suppressed. This allows a person with access authorization the escape door commit or an object in the escape door security area be present without the local signal or a main alarm is triggered. Basically, the access control device can query both an authorization for the operation of the escape door and an authorization for the inspection of the escape door security area. Thus, for example, room care personnel may have an authorization to inspect the escape door security area for cleaning purposes, but not an authorization to operate the escape door. In this case, the local signal would therefore only be triggered when the escape door is actuated, but not when the escape door security area is inspected.

The access control device can also be designed as a person identification device, so that it can be determined exactly which persons have operated the escape door at which time or entered the escape door security area. In principle, all devices known from the prior art and suitable for use with the system can be used as the access control device. For example, the access control device can also be remote-controlled. The suppression of the local signal may occur for a predetermined period of time, which is normally required by, for example, a person to pass the escape door security area and commit the escape door. Alternatively, the suppression of the local signal can be set even if the monitoring device recognizes that the authorized object has left the escape door security area again. It is also possible that the monitoring device checks whether the escape door is closed again after the justified opening. If the escape door is perceived as an object present in the escape door security area, the escape door is opened; if it is not perceived, the escape door is closed. For this embodiment, of course, the escape door security area must be designed accordingly. If the door remains open for a predetermined amount of time, the system may issue a local alarm and / or transmit a signal to a building monitoring center to trigger a main alarm. In the latter variant is particularly advantageous that can be dispensed with a separate system for status verification of the escape door. If the escape door security area is formed on both sides of the escape door, it is expedient to provide an access control device on each side of the escape door.

Furthermore, it is preferred that the system is designed such that it suppresses the output of the local signal, as long as the escape door remains in a regular open position. The term "regular open position" or "regular opening" means that a person with access authorization has actuated and opened the escape door. During the opening period is now the system suppressed the local signal. This has the advantage that the local signal is not triggered undesirably. An example of this is the delivery of goods into a building via an escape route. The rescue escape escape door must be open for delivery and the system suppresses the local signal output so that the rescue route can be handled by the delivery personnel without a permanent local signal being triggered. The system may also be arranged such that the state of the regular open position must be triggered separately by a person with access authorization in order to avoid conflicts, if the escape door, for example, according to an embodiment described above, with an authorized opening, can normally remain open only for a predetermined period of time without triggering a pre-alarm and / or a main alarm.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a timer or a time relay is provided by which the output of the local signal is temporarily suppressed. This is advantageous because at certain times when people routinely pass the escape door security area routinely, the local signal is not output. An example of this is the cleaning of the emergency route at regular intervals by cleaning personnel.

Expediently, the output of the local signal is set by the system according to the invention as soon as an object present in the escape door security area which has triggered the local signal has left the escape door security area again. When the object has left the escape door security area again, the desired success, namely that the unauthorized object is withdrawn or withdrawn from the escape door security area, has occurred, so that it is no longer necessary to maintain the local signal.

In a further preferred embodiment, the system according to the invention is designed to transmit, in the presence of an object in the escape door security area, in addition to the output of the local signal, a further signal to one or more external receiver devices with which the system is in data communication. The communication between systems according to the invention and the external receiver devices can take place both on a wired and wireless basis. One example of an application of this embodiment is the provisioning of folder or security personnel with handsets, which are notified by the system, for example by SMS or by radio, that an object without access authorization is present in an escape door security area. The informed folder personnel can then take appropriate action, such as controlling the corresponding escape door security area.

Advantageously, at least one receiver device is a global building monitoring system. This has the consequence that in the monitoring center a signal is received when a person or an object has entered the escape door security area and possibly a main alarm is triggered. Thus, appropriate measures can be taken from this central point. If, in the case of the escape door monitored by the systems according to the invention, a device is provided for monitoring the operation of the escape door, which transmits a signal to the global monitoring system in the event of an actuation, in this embodiment the system according to the invention can use the same communication line as the actuation monitoring device. Furthermore, it is possible to form the actuation monitoring device and the system according to the invention as a unit which performs both functions. In principle, therefore, the pre-alarm can be formed independently of the main alarm or combined with this. Advantageously, the system according to the invention is then designed to transmit a separate signal to the building monitoring system when the escape door is actuated, so that a distinction can be made between inspection of the escape door security area and operation of the escape door.

Preferably, the local signal is output as an acoustic warning signal and alternatively or additionally as an optical warning signal. The audible alarm can be issued, for example, in the form of a beep or in the form of a recorded and, if necessary, played back spoken message warning, for example, before using the escape door outside of emergencies. The visual warning signal can be designed, for example, as a warning or alarm light. The visual alarm is preferably designed as a warning arranged in the escape route area, which is displayed or illuminated when an object enters the escape door security area. The lighting can be constant or pulsating. As an alternative or in addition, it is preferable to make it recognizable when an object enters the escape door security area, in particular by illuminating this area, so that the person entering or the object introducing the object into the escape door security area visually perceives the escape door security area and withdraws therefrom.

In a further preferred embodiment, the system according to the invention is designed such that the output parameters of the local signal and in particular the intensity of the local signal are adjustable. This means that the output parameters of the system according to the invention in the already installed state of technical personnel are changeable. The term output parameter is to be understood as meaning all properties of the output of the local signal, For example, the intensity, the appearance, the extent, the brightness, the symbolism, etc.

In a further preferred embodiment, the regulation of the signal output of the system according to the invention is designed such that the intensity of the local signal, for example the brightness of an output light or the volume of an audible alarm, increases or decreases depending on external factors. For example, the intensity of the local signal may be dependent on the dwell time of an object in the escape door security area in such a way that the intensity of the local signal increases the longer the object lingers in the escape door security area. Furthermore, the intensity can also be formed as a function of the distance of the object present in the escape door security area to the escape door in such a way that the intensity of the local signal increases the closer the object of the escape door located in the escape door security area comes. For this embodiment, the monitoring device is to be designed accordingly, so that it can determine the distance of the penetrated object from the escape door.

In addition, the control of the signal output of the system according to the invention can be designed such that it performs an adaptive adaptation to the prevailing environmental factors with respect to the output of the local signal. For this purpose, the system according to the invention expediently has sensors which determine the environmental factors prevailing in the area of the escape door security area, such as brightness, noise level, etc. According to the determined values, the output of the local signal is adjusted. An example of this is the increase in the volume of a local, audible signal to be output when the system according to the invention determines that the noise level surrounding the escape door security area is relatively high.

In order to draw attention to persons already before entering the escape door security area or before bringing an object into it, it is expedient to provide visual markings in the area of the escape route which permanently point to the escape door security area. This can be done for example in the form of warning signs or the like. Preferably, there is a device that optically marks the escape door security area. This is particularly preferably achieved by means of a light projection, by means of a light curtain and / or by means of laser beams. Moreover, such visual markings can advantageously be used as assembly aids in such a way that during the installation of an escape route monitoring system or during its calibration, the escape door security area to be monitored is aligned by maintenance or installation personnel on the basis of the optical markings.

The monitoring device is expediently designed as an intrusion detector, in particular as a motion detector, as a radar device or as an optical monitoring device (eg video surveillance system that automatically registers changes in a monitored area). In principle, however, any known from the prior art monitoring device is suitable, which is suitable for use in the present invention. Depending on the design of the monitoring device, a two- or three-dimensional escape door security area can accordingly be monitored. In principle, one-dimensional photoelectric sensors or the like can also be used as the monitoring device. It is also possible to combine a plurality of individual detectors into a monitoring device.

The object is also achieved by a method for deterring persons from the actuation of an escape door of an escape route according to claim 15.

The invention will be further described with reference to embodiments illustrated in the drawings, in which the same components are provided with the same reference numerals. They show schematically:
FIG. 1:
a side view of an escape door with a mounted above the door rescue route monitoring system and illuminated escape door security area; and
FIG. 2:
a side view of an escape door with an escape route monitoring system and projectable warning on the escape door.

FIG. 1 shows a side view of an escape door 11, which is arranged in an escape door frame 12. On the door 11 designed as a push rod 13 actuator is provided by the escape door 11 can be operated and opened at any time. The illustrated side of the escape door 11 is thus the escape or panic side, from which the escape door 11 must be accessible at all times. The escape direction runs in the in FIG. 1 shown representation perpendicular to the escape door level and into it.

Above the escape door 11, an escape route monitoring system 10 is arranged. The emergency route monitoring system 10 comprises a monitoring device 14 designed as an intrusion detector, which monitors an escape door security area 15 arranged in front of the escape door 11. The monitoring of the escape door security area 15 by the intrusion detector 14 is shown by dashed lines. The escape door security area 15 is thus essentially a three-dimensional, pyramid-like area whose tip is located on the intrusion detector 14 and whose rectangular base is formed by the floor in front of the escape door 11. If a person or an object penetrates into this pyramid-shaped escape door security area 15, this is detected by the intrusion detector 14. The escape door security area 15 is predetermined such that a person who wants to actuate the push rod 13 of the escape door 11 and approaches the escape door 11 from the escape side must penetrate into the escape door security area 15 in any case.

If the intrusion detector 14 detects an intrusion into the escape door security area 15, it reports this to the control device 16, which is likewise part of the escape route monitoring system 10. The controller 16 then triggers a local signal. The local signal comprises in the rescue route monitoring system 10 shown here, on the one hand, the switching on of an alarm lamp or light 17, which is arranged adjacent to the control device 16. On the other hand, the control device 16 controls a projector 18, which is connected to the control device 16. This projector 18 projected as a light projection an optical warning 19 on the floor in the area in front of the escape door 11. As soon as the invader leaves the escape door security area 15 again, this reports the intrusion detector 14 to the controller 16 and the alarm light 17 is turned off. Also, the projection of the visual warning signal 19 is set.

The projector 18 is further designed so that it can project on the lying in the direction of escape from the escape door 11 floor the outlines of the rectangular base of the pyramidal securing portion 15. The inventive system can be adjusted so that this outline projection is permanently present, regardless of whether a person has penetrated into the escape door security area 15 or not. As a result, persons located in the vicinity of the escape door 11 are alerted to them before they enter the escape door security area 15. The rescue route monitoring system 10 shown here thus outputs two different visual warning signals 19 as a local signal.

FIG. 2 also shows a side view of an escape door 11. In contrast to the illustration FIG. 1 the escape route monitoring system 10 shown here is arranged laterally next to the escape door 11. The monitoring device 14, which is likewise designed as an intrusion detector, monitors an escape door securing area 15, which is substantially cuboidal, projects beyond the escape door 11 to all sides and extends from the latter opposite to the escape direction. The escape door security area 15 and the monitoring of this area by the intrusion detector 14 are shown in dashed lines.

The rescue route monitoring system 10 shown here also emits, as an optical warning signal 19, both the illumination of an alarm light 17 and the projection of an optical warning. In contrast to the presentation FIG. 1 , the visual warning is projected onto the escape door 11. Further, the projector 18 is spaced from the controller 16 and connected thereto by means of a cable 20. The projector 18 is arranged above the escape door 11. Furthermore, the escape route monitoring system 10 outputs an acoustic alarm or an acoustic warning signal 21 when a person or an object enters the escape door security area 15. The acoustic warning signal 21 is shown here as a loudspeaker symbol.

The escape route monitoring system 10 further comprises an access control device 22, which is formed integrally in the control device 16. This access control device 22 is designed to send and receive signals. If a person with an access authorization in the form of a transponder (not shown here) in the form of a transponder corresponding to the access control device 22 approaches the access control device 22, the latter recognizes that an authorized person is present and transmits this to the control device 16. that both the visual warning signals 19 and the audible warning signal 21 are suppressed when this person enters the escape door security area 15. The suppression of the local signal is maintained as long as the authorized person is in the escape door security area 15.
