Das Entriegelungselement 3 überdeckt dabei vollständig die Ausnehmung 14 des Staubraumdeckels 1. Dem zweiten Schenkel 20 gegenüberliegend ist an dem stegartigen Griffabschnitt 2 der erste Schenkel 19 angeformt. In Verlängerung des ersten Schenkels 19 ist die Trennwand 18 ausgebildet. Die Trennwand 18 ist im Wesentlichen eben ausgebildet und erstreckt annähernd parallel zur flächigen Erstreckung des Entriegelungselements 3. Die freie Kante 25 der Trennwand 18 liegt etwa in einem mittleren Bereich unterhalb des Entriegelungselements 3 und deutlich jenseits der Kante 26 des Entriegelungselements 3. Die ursprüngliche Ausnehmung 14 wird durch das Entriegelungselement 3 vollständig abgedeckt. Zwischen Trennwand 18 und Entriegelungselement 3 verbleibt lediglich ein Spalt 28 in den die Fingerkuppen die Finger einer Hand einführbar sind, um das Entriegelungselement 3 zu betätigen. Claims (12)

  1. Vacuum cleaner with a housing (4), in which a dust collecting chamber is arranged, which is closable by a dust chamber cover (1) having, for carrying the vacuum cleaner by hand, a web-like handle section (2) adjoining a recess (14) of the dust chamber cover (1), into which an unlocking element (3) of a detent element projects, which co-operates with a counter-detent element (16) of the housing (4) in order to keep the dust chamber cover (1) in a closed position, wherein the web-like handle section (2) is of channel-shaped construction for gripping by fingers of a hand, characterised in that a separating wall (18) preventing contact of the locking element (3) by means of fingers or fingertips is formed between the web-like handle section (2) and the locking element (3).
  2. Vacuum cleaner according to claim 1, characterised in that the channel-shaped handle section (2) is formed to be open on a side directed away from the outer surface of the dust chamber cover (1).
  3. Vacuum cleaner according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that at least one wall section of the web-like handle section (2) of channel-shaped construction is double-walled.
  4. Vacuum cleaner according to claim 3, characterised in that the double-walled wall section forms an intermediate space in which stiffening ribs (23) are provided.
  5. Vacuum cleaner according to claim 3 or 4, characterised in that the double-walled wall section is formed to extend over the length of the web-like handle section (2) along an edge of the profile of the dust chamber cover (1).
  6. Vacuum cleaner according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the web-like handle section (2) is set back from the outer surface of the dust chamber cover (1).
  7. Vacuum cleaner according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the unlocking element (3) occupies the recess (14) of the dust chamber cover (1) to a predominant extent.
  8. Vacuum cleaner according to claim 7, characterised in that the unlocking element (3) completely covers the recess (14) of the dust chamber cover (1).
  9. Vacuum cleaner according to claim 8, characterised in that the unlocking element (3) is flushly integrated in the contour of the dust chamber cover (1).
  10. Vacuum cleaner according to claim 8 or 9, characterised in that the unlocking element (3) covers the web-like handle section (2).
  11. Vacuum cleaner according to claim 1, characterised in that the separating wall (18) is provided at the web-like handle section (2).
  12. Vacuum cleaner according to claim 11, characterised in that the separating wall (18) is formed by a prolonged first limb (19) of the channel-shaped handle section (2).
