Abstract

The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner comprising a housing with a dust collector chamber arranged therein, said dust collector chamber being able to be closed by a dust collector chamber cover (1) which has a web-type handle section (2) which is used to carry the vacuum cleaner by hand and which is adjacent to a recess (14) of the dust collector chamber cover, into which an unlocking element (3) of a detent element protrudes, cooperating with the counter detent element (16) of the housing in order to maintain the dust collector chamber cover in a closed position. In order to provide a vacuum cleaner with an improved carrying handle and with an improved cover locking system, the web-type handle section is provided with grooves enabling fingers to be engaged therein.
