Abstract

Procédé de fabrication d‘un mélange exothermique, caractérisé en ce qu’il comprend une phase d’obtention d’un mélange de réaction comportant une poudre de fer, un accélérateur de réaction et de l’eau, avec une teneur en eau comprise entre 0,5 et 20 % en poids et une valeur d’eau mobile signalant une quantité d’eau en excès de moins de 0,01, et une phase de mise en contact du mélange de réaction ci-dessus avec un gaz oxydant à une température supérieure ou égale à 0°C, pour permettre au mélange de réaction de subir une montée en température supérieure ou égale à 1°C en moins de 10 minutes; mélange exothermique; composition exothermique; composition exothermique formable; et article exothermique. Le mélange exothermique ci-dessus possède des caractéristiques exothermiques en ce sens qu’il commence l’oxydation et la génération de chaleur juste après un contact avec l’air, avant de subir une réaction vigoureuse, puis la réaction s’adoucit dès que la température du mélange atteint une valeur spécifique, et peut être fabriqué pour le commerce à coût faible et à grande échelle.
