Claims (8)

  1. Adjustable head support for attachment to chairs (12), in particular wheelchairs or raising wheelchairs, with a head rest (19), a holder (11), which is attachable to the chair (12), a lever parallelogram (18) arranged on top of the holder (11) for substantially horizontal arrangement of the head rest (19) and an actuator (23) attachable to the chair (12), said actuator (19) linked with the lever parallelogram by a linkage (21), characterized in that the lever parallelogram (18) comprises a first (33) and a second lever (35) which pivot points (37,41,39,43) are pivoted at the bottom to the holder (11) at substantially the same height and spaced from each other and are pivoted at the top to a connection piece (45) at substantially the same height and spaced from each other and that the first and the second lever (33,35) of the lever parallelogram (18) are overlapping in each position.
