Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour faire fonctionner un moteur à combustion interne (10), selon lequel au moins une post-injection de carburant (PoI1, PoI2) est réalisée. L'invention concerne également un dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre dudit procédé. Un signal de dilution d'huile (m_oil_dil) est déterminé en tant que valeur de mesure par exemple du volume de la dilution d'huile du moteur à combustion interne (10) provoquée par la ou les post-injections de carburant (PoI1, PoI2). Cette dernière ou ces dernières (PoI1, Pol2) servent par exemple à introduire du carburant non brûlé, en tant que combustible, dans la zone de gaz d'échappement (11) du moteur à combustion interne (10). Ce combustible réagit de manière exothermique dans la zone de gaz d'échappement (11) et chauffe le dispositif de traitement de gaz d'échappement (12).
