Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vollkegelsprühdüse mit einem Mundstück mit einer Austrittskammer (22,62,68,84) und einer von der Austrittskammer ausgehenden Austrittsöffnung (24,82) mit kleinerem Querschnitt als die Austrittskammer.
Erfindungsgemäß weist eine Eintrittsöffnung (26) in die Austrittskammer einen kleineren Querschnitt als die Austrittskammer auf und stromabwärts der Eintrittsöffnung der Austrittskammer ist ein stegartiges Vorzerstäuberelement (34,44,48,50,54,86) angeordnet, auf das ein Fluidstrahl nach dem Eintreten in die Austrittskammer wenigstens teilweise auftrifft.
Verwendung zum Beispiel als Zweistoffsprühdüse zum Zerstäuben von niedrigviskosen Flüssigkeiten für die Kühlung in Knüppel- oder Vorblockstranggussanlagen.
