Erst dadurch wird ein hocheffizientes Löschen, insbesondere bei offenen, schnell eskalierenden Bränden, mit relativ geringem Löschwasserbedarf erreicht. Das fein zerstäubte Wasser verfügt mit seiner so enorm vergrößerten Kontaktoberfläche über eine erhöhte Wärmeabsorption, verbunden mit einem temporären Inertisierungseffekt durch Sauerstoffverdrängung infolge akuter Verdampfung. Dadurch sind extrem kurze Löschzeiten möglich. Zwischen dem Ventil und der Feinsprühdüse ist es vorteilhaft, einen flexiblen Schlauch anzuordnen. Als Löschmittel ist es vorteilhaft, eine wäßrige Lösung mit Schaummittel zu verwenden. Weiterhin ist es vorteilhaft, als Treibgas CO2, N2, Ar oder Preßluft einzusetzen. Claims (9)
