Description

The invention relates to a mobile fine spray fire extinguisher according to the preamble of the first claim.

The invention can be used for extinguishing glowing and liquid substances. It is particularly suitable for use in places where a liquid extinguishing agent can cause major damage. With regard to the mobility of the extinguishing system, a differentiation is made between mobile and stationary fire-extinguishing systems in fire-fighting equipment. Stationary fire extinguishing systems are extinguishing systems that are permanently installed in buildings. They have an extinguishing agent tank and lines to the extinguishing units. These are usually extinguishing nozzles, with spray nozzles are known with a spray angle up to 60 °. This spray angle is adjusted so that as far as possible a large area of the area located below the spray nozzle is oversprayed to keep the number of extinguishing nozzles in the room low and to spray only the most necessary amount of extinguishing agent. To spray as little extinguishing agent are fine spray nozzles not uncommon.

Mobile systems usually consist of a portable or mobile extinguishing agent container, on which a line is arranged in the form of a flexible hose and an extinguishing nozzle. Mobile systems are aimed at extinguishing fires as quickly as possible, with the aid of compressed gas, a large amount of liquid extinguishing agent is distributed over the fire within a very short time. The advantage of mobile extinguishers is that a person controls the extinguishing agent accurately to the source of fire. The volume of extinguishing agent in mobile mobile fire extinguishing systems is up to 50 liters.

Due to the fact that within a very short time much extinguishing agent with large drop diameter is distributed on the fire, it can lead to larger extinguishing agent damage. Since extinguished with mobile fire extinguishing systems, there is this problem that considerable damage both consumers and insurance and arises for some time, the need to design mobile fire extinguishing systems so that the least possible water damage. With the currently existing mobile systems this problem could not be solved so far.

Out DD 299,098 a method and an apparatus for extinguishing fires by means of automatic, mobile and stationary fire extinguishing system on the basis of water and propellant gas is known, wherein the water in a water tank and the propellant separated be stored in a pressure vessel and both fluids passes after opening the quick opening valve in a functioning according to the carburetor atomizer, where they are atomized to form an aerosol and extinguished after leaving the atomizer the fire by heat removal. Propellant and water tanks are arranged in different rooms, wherein the atomizer chamber is connected to a fixed piping system. In the present device is not a fire extinguisher, but a fire extinguishing system that operates on the carburetor principle. An attacking device aimed directly at the source of the fire does not exist in this system.

In GB 2 320 189 A a portable fire extinguisher is described, which has a spray gun with a spray nozzle, with which a spray is generated, wherein the Sprühdüsentröpfchen are sprayed at an angle of 130 degrees. Such sprays are not very suitable for the targeted spraying of a fire.

Out WO 2004/105957 A1 Although a nozzle assembly for generating planar spray fields is known, with the targeted a spray is directed to a fire, but this is a fixed fire extinguishing system with pipes.

Out GB-A-2 320 189 is a portable portable fire extinguisher for extinguishing glowing and liquid substances, preferably with an extinguishing agent container consisting of the extinguishing agent container, the aqueous solvent, the valve, the extinguishing agent line and the extinguishing nozzle with a fine extinguishing nozzle as extinguishing nozzle and a memory for compressed gas on or in the extinguishing agent container known.

The document gives no information about how the spray nozzle must be designed so that a low extinguishing agent consumption is present.

AU 49 161 90 A discloses a sieve in the extinguishing agent container. However, this document does not disclose fine spray nozzles with a particular spray angle.

DD 209 098 A7 describes a fire extinguisher, are used in the propellant CO 2, N 2, AR or compressed air. Also, this fire extinguisher has no fine spray nozzles with a certain spray angle of 30 ° maximum.

Mobile fire extinguishing equipment, the means of attack with low water consumption and high extinguishing effect are accurately used at the source of fire, are not known.

It is therefore an object of the invention to develop a mobile fine spray fire extinguisher, with the fires can be extinguished as quickly as possible and the slightest damage by the extinguishing liquid.

This object is achieved by a mobile fine spray fire extinguisher according to the features of the first claim.

Unteransprüche geben vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung wieder.Subclaims give advantageous embodiments of the invention again.

The invention provides a mobile, preferably a portable fine spray fire extinguisher, which consists of the extinguishing agent container with the aqueous extinguishing agent, the valve, the extinguishing agent line and the Löschmitteldüse, wherein the extinguishing agent nozzle is a Feinsprühdüse and a memory for compressed gas is arranged on or in the extinguishing agent container.

Advantageously, the fine spray nozzle has a spray angle of at most 30 degrees. This ensures that the resulting fine spray is conveyed at a narrow angle on the fire. The application of fine spray technology is particularly suitable for the mobile sector. Unlike the stationary use of fine spray extinguishing systems, where the application of water predominantly acts surface-to-surface from above or below, the skilled mobile fire extinguisher unit makes it possible to direct the spray jet directly to the reaction zone of a fire. Only then is a highly efficient extinguishing, especially in open, fast escalating fires, achieved with relatively low extinguishing water requirements. The finely atomised water with its enormously enlarged contact surface has increased heat absorption, combined with a temporary inerting effect due to oxygen displacement due to acute evaporation. As a result, extremely short extinguishing times are possible. Between the valve and the fine spray nozzle, it is advantageous to arrange a flexible hose. As extinguishing agent, it is advantageous to use an aqueous solution with foaming agent. Furthermore, it is advantageous to use as propellant CO 2 , N 2 , Ar or compressed air. The propellant may be stored in an internal or external propellant storage tank.

The spray nozzles are to be designed in such a way that the maximum droplet size of the extinguishing agent is 0.1 mm. Furthermore, it is advantageous to arrange a sieve in the fire extinguisher. The propellant gas can be introduced into the extinguishing liquid at different operating pressures. For low-pressure devices, this can be up to 16 bar, for medium-pressure devices 16 to 50 bar are conceivable, with high-pressure devices with pressures above 50 bar being conceivable. It is advantageous to have a starting pressure of 30 bar available.
