Eine bevorzugte erfindungsgemäße Variante besteht hingegen darin, daß zunächst die Paare von Einzelfilterstopfen und anschließend die doppeltlangen Filterstopfen zwischen die Tabakstäbe eingefügt werden, wobei nach einem weiteren Vorschlag die Einzelfilterstopfen in einer an die Tabakstäbe angrenzenden Lage und die doppeltlangen Filterstopfen in eine zentrale Lücke zwischen den Einzelfilterstopfen eingefügt werden. Verfahren zum Herstellen von Filterzigaretten mit Mehrfachfiltern aus unterschiedlichen stabförmigen Filterkomponenten, welche auf getrennten Förderwegen separaten Vorräten in mehrfacher Gebrauchslänge entnommen, unterteilt und zwischen zwei koaxial zueinander ausgerichtete Tabakstäbe eingefügt werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf dem einen Förderweg stabförmige Filterkomponenten in Paare von Einzelfilterstopfen und auf dem anderen Förderweg stabförmige Filterkomponenten in doppeltlange Filterstopfen unterteilt werden, und daß die Filterstopfen der beiden Filterkomponenten nacheinander zwischen die Tabakstäbe eingefügt werden.1. Vorrichtung zum Herstellen von Filterzigaretten mit Mehrfachfiltern aus unterschiedlichen stabförmigen Filterkomponenten, mit separaten Vorräten für Filterstäbe mehrfacher Gebrauchslänge, denen auf getrennten Förderwegen Fördertrommeln zum Unterteilen, Gruppieren und Einfügen der stabförmigen Filterkomponenten zwischen zwei koaxial zueinander ausgerichtete Tabakstäbe zugeordnet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der eine Förderweg durch fünf Fördertrommeln (1, 7, 9, 14, 17) gebildet ist zur zweifachen Unterteilung von aus dem einen separaten Vorrat (3) entnommenen Filterstäben (2) von sechsfacher Gebrauchslänge, zur Staffelung queraxialen Hintereinanderreihung und Unterteilung der erhaltenen Filterstäbe (6) doppelter Gebrauchslänge in Einzelfilterstopfen (13) sowie zur längsaxialen Spreizung und queraxialen Abstandsvergrößerung zum Einfügen der Einzelfilterstopfen (13) zwischen die Tabakstäbe (22), und daß der andere Förderweg durch sechs Fördertrommeln (29, 36, 38, 43, 46, 48) gebildet ist zur zweifachen Unterteilung von aus dem anderen separaten Vorrat (32) entnommenen Filterstäben (31) von zwölffacher Gebrauchslänge zur Staffelung, queraxialen Hintereinanderreihung und Unterteilung der erhaltenen Filterstäbe (34) vierfacher Gebrauchslänge, sowie zur Staffelung, queraxialen Hintereinanderreihung und queraxialen Abstandsvergrößerung zum Einfügen der erhaltenen Filterstäbe (42) doppelter Gebrauchslänge zwischen die Tabakstäbe (22).5.
