Beim Verschwenken des Schneidhebels 5 nach unten wird auf den Preßschenkel 11 zusätzlich mittels der Biegefeder 21 Kraft in Richtung auf die Blattgutauflage 3 ausgeübt. Insgesamt wird hierdurch die Niederhalterschiene 10 mit einer solchen Kraft auf den Blattstapel gedrückt, daß es beim Schneidvorgang nicht zu einer Verschiebung der Einzelblätter untereinander kommt.
