- Device for continuous casting of liquid metals, particularly of liquid steels, comprising a strip guide (1) for supporting and/or guiding and cooling the cast strip, consisting of groups (3), which are successive in strip-running direction (2), of roller pairs (6) forming a fixed side (4) and a movable side (5) and segment frames (7) serving for rotational mounting per roller group (3), wherein a movable-side frame (5a) is adjustable relative to the fixed-side frame (4a) by means of pairs of hydraulic piston-cylinder drives (8) for a basic setting and for adaptation of the cast strip format thickness or the segment conicity in a pause in casting or in continuous casting operation and wherein at least one second frame (4a, 5a) together with the roller pairs (6) is exchangeable, characterised in that respective individual roller groups (3) consisting of fixed-side rollers (4b) and removable-side rollers (5b) are arranged in a straight or curved section of the strip guide (1), that the piston-cylinder drives (8) are mounted in a stationary support frame (9) to be unchangeable in position, that the fixed-side frame (4a) and the movable-side frame (5a) form a frame unit (11) on which the movable-side frame (5a) or the movable-side rollers (5b) are adjustable in spacing from the fixed-side rollers (4b) by means of the piston-cylinder drives (8) and that the frame unit (11) is detachable, in a transverse guide (10) at at least one side, from the support frame (9) for demounting of the movable-side rollers (5b) or of the movable-side frame (5a) and after maintenance is, for installation, reconnectible with the stationary support frame (9) or with an additional separate segment support frame (18) set in a stationary position at a spacing (17) and the piston-cylinder drives (8) are each provided with a piston rod (8b) connected by means of a coupling (13) with a piston rod extension (14), wherein the end (14a) of the piston rod extension (14) forms a guide block (15) of the movable side (5) in the fixed-side frame (4a).
- Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the frame unit (11) consisting of fixed-side frame (4a) and movable-side frame (5a) is connected with the stationary support frame (9) by means of settable clamping means (16).
- Device according to claims 1 to 2, characterised in that between the frame unit (11) and the support frame (9) the spacing of the frame unit (11) from the support frame (9) is set to a defined spacing (17) by means of an intermediate frame (18) fastened to the base frame of the strip guide (1).
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the fixed-side frame (4a) is movable together with the movable-side frame (5a) away from the support frame (9), and back again after maintenance, by means of pairs of segment wheels (19) in rails (20) arranged on both sides and extending transversely to the strip running direction (2).
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that for the movement away of the segment frame (7) segment abutments (12) are arranged at the fixed-side frame (4a).
- Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the segment frame (7) is guided on both sides in the direction of the axis of the piston-cylinder drives and the piston-rod extension (14) by means of guide blocks (15) arranged on the axis of the piston rod extension (14).
- Device according to claim 6, characterised in that respective windows (15a) are provided in the stand of the continuous casting device for the guide blocks (15), which windows guide the guide blocks (15) vertically, and release the blocks in the direction of the axis of a piston-cylinder drive (8) for an adjustment travel of the movable-side frame (5a) with respect to the fixed-side frame (4a).
