characterised in that along the strand of the sewing thread the mechanically or manually ascertainable materials as the security feature are present at specified intervals in locally increased or reduced concentrations. - A method for the manufacture of a valuable and security document (1) according to one of the preceding Claims, whereby firstly the at least two sheets are disposed one above the other and subsequently the sheets are attached to one another by sewing,
characterised in that subsequently a security element (8) is applied such that a first part of the security element is disposed above the seam (5) and/or inside the seam and a second part of the security element is disposed above at least one part and/or inside one part of the adjacent region of the sheet disposed directly below the seam, whereby the information serving for security results from the first part and the second part of the security element. - A method according to Claim 20,
characterised in that after the sheets have been disposed one above the another and prior to being sewn they are additionally folded and the seam is disposed in the fold. - A method according to one of Claims 20 or 21,
characterised in that the security element is printed, sealed or laminated. - A method according to Claim 22,
characterised in that the security element is printed by means of tampon printing or flexographic printing or screen printing. - A method according to one of Claims 20 to 23,
characterised in that the operation to dispose the sheets one above the other and the sewing and where appropriate the folding take place at a first location and the application of the security element is performed locally at a second location. - A method according to one of Claims 20 to 24,
characterised in that the second part of the security element is applied to extend over the entire surface of the sheet disposed directly under the seam.
