Abstract
Bei einem Verfahren zum Behandeln von Kernsand und Bindemittel enthaltenden Gießereiformstoffen wird der mit anorganischem/anorganischen Bindemittel/n gebundene Kernsand nach einem Gießvorgang von dabei entstandenen Gussstücken trocken getrennt, und stückige Teile werden trocken zerkleinert. Der Kernsand wird auf eine vorgegebene Korngröße abgesiebt, und unerwünschte Feinteile werden entfernt, wonach der durch Feuchteentzug ausgehärtete Kernsand in zwei Teilströme (S1, S2) unterteilt sowie der eine Teilstrom einem Zwischenlager zugeführt und der andere regeneriert wird. Der zu regenerierende Teilstrom (S2) wird einem Reaktor mit Flüssigkeit zugeführt und der eingebrachte Sand behandelt, bis die Kornoberfläche ausreichend von Binderresten und Produkten des Gussvorganges gereinigt ist. Jener Flüssigkeit -- insbesondere Wasser -- werden Zusätze beigegeben, beispielsweise Natronlauge bei Wasserglasbinder. The core sand is screened to a predetermined grain size, and unwanted fines are removed, after which the hardened by dehumidification core sand into two streams (S 1 , S 2 ) divided and fed a partial flow to a temporary storage and the other is regenerated. The partial stream to be regenerated (S 2 ) is fed to a reactor with liquid and the introduced sand is treated until the grain surface is sufficiently cleaned of binder residues and products of the casting process. The liquid - especially water - additives are added, for example, sodium hydroxide in water glass binder.
