Die Einbettung der oberen Randkanten nach der Umfaltung der oberen Endbereiche der Seitenfalten in einen Schweißverbindungsbereich ist sichergestellt, daß auch dann eine vollständige und sichere Abdichtung der Seitenfalten an ihren oberen Enden eintritt, wenn kein besonderer Verschluß entlang der oberen Randkanten der Seitenfalten, sei es durch Schweißen oder durch Kleben, vorgesehen wird. Denn der Schweißverbindungsbereich bildet eine vollständige Abdichtung, die auch unabhängig von zusätzlichen Maßnahmen einen zuverlässigen Verschluß der Seitenfalten an ihren oberen Randkanten herbeiführt. Ferner ist auch ein an die umgefalteten Endbereiche 12 der Seitenfalten 3,4 angrenzender Bereich 16 der gleichseitigen Seitenfaltenhälften mit der benachbarten Beutelwand 2 flächig verschweißt, so daß die Schweißverbindungsbereiche die oberen Randkanten 17 der umgefalteten Endbereiche 12 einschließen.The

- Bag with lateral folds according to claim 3, characterised in that what is provided as a resealing means (18) is a three-layered sealing strip whose outer layers are welded to the inner sides of the adjacent walls of the bag and whose centre layer can be separated, by a break in cohesion, into two part-layers which again become connected by adhesion when placed against one another.
