Claims (17)

  1. Side support (5) for a heald frame (1) for a weaving machine,
    with a base body (8), which is formed by at least one elongated sheet metal bent part (9, 9a, 9b), which is arranged substantially vertically when in use and which encloses a hollow space (13),
    wherein the base body (8) is provided with a drive connection means (25) at one of its ends,
    characterised in that the drive connection means (25) is formed by two flat extensions (20, 21), which are surface-parallel to one another, are connected to the base body (8) via a weld or in a joint-free and seamless manner and are therefore connected in one piece thereto.
