Abstract
L'invention concerne un toit ouvrant (10) de voiture, ce toit comprenant un élément de toit (16) mobile pour fermer ou libérer au moins partiellement une ouverture (22) de toit, un élément cadre (34) fixé à la carrosserie et s'étendant sur au moins une zone périphérique de l'ouverture de toit, un élément d'étanchéité (36) disposé dans la zone de l'élément cadre, l'élément de toit appuyant contre l'élément d'étanchéité lors de la fermeture du toit, un moteur électrique d'entraînement pour déplacer l'élément de toit et un dispositif de surveillance couplé à cet entraînement et destiné à évaluer les paramètres d'entraînement provenant du moteur, à arrêter le moteur et éventuellement à inverser sa marche lorsque l'évaluation des paramètres d'entraînement permet de détecter la présence d'un obstacle (38) entre l'élément de toit et la zone périphérique de l'ouverture du toit. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que l'élément de toit (16) est pourvu d'une surface de butée (40) pour saisir un obstacle (38), le toit ouvrant (10) étant conçu de telle sorte que, si un obstacle se trouve entre la zone périphérique de l'ouverture du toit (22) et l'élément de toit lors de la fermeture, la surface de butée entre en contact avec cet obstacle avant que l'élément de toit ne se mette en prise avec l'élément d'étanchéité (36).
