Definitions

  • the invention relates to an electric lamp, in particular a halogen incandescent lamp, with holding nubs for the filament.
  • the luminous body is held by means of funnel-like indentations of the lamp vessel.
  • these indentations are also referred to below as nubs.
  • Such a lamp is for example from the Scriptures DE 40 08 367 A1 known.
  • a one-sided pinched halogen incandescent lamp is disclosed, whose elongate luminous element extends in the direction of the lamp's longitudinal axis and is held there with one or more funnel-shaped nubs formed from the lamp vessel material.
  • the knobs are oriented perpendicular to the lamp's longitudinal axis.
  • the one-sided pinched halogen incandescent lamp is mounted in an outer bulb with Edison screw base, for direct operation on line voltage.
  • the font DE 101 46 877 A1 discloses a reflector lamp with a reflector and a halogen bulb in Noppentechnik.
  • the knobs are formed perpendicular to the lamp longitudinal axis.
  • the halogen bulb is installed coaxially to the reflector axis in the reflector.
  • the font FR453758 discloses an electric lamp having a lamp vessel, a lamp cap, a luminous body located within the lamp vessel and oriented substantially perpendicular to the lamp axis, and studs formed by indentations of the lamp vessel and extending substantially parallel to the lamp axis.
  • the object of the present invention is to expand the uses and uses of electric lamps with Noppentechnik.
  • the nubs as such are, as already known from the cited prior art, formed as a funnel-shaped inlets of the lamp vessel.
  • the nubs according to the invention are oriented substantially axially with respect to the longitudinal extent of the lamp ("axial knobs") instead of perpendicular to the lamp longitudinal axis.
  • the filament of the lamp usually a filament, possibly also several times wound and / or off consisting of several helical segments, substantially in an imaginary plane perpendicular to the lamp longitudinal axis, ie to align the direction of the lamp cap and not substantially in the axial direction of the lamp, as in the prior art.
  • the light emission takes place predominantly from the front through the front side of the lamp, ie in the axial direction.
  • the filament is not completely or exactly spanned in a plane, for example, if the individual filament segments are oriented obliquely to the imaginary plane.
  • Decisive is only that the main extent of the filament taken as a whole is perpendicular to the lamp axis, ie that at all a holder of the filament by means of axial knobs is possible.
  • the light emission takes place in the cited prior art due to the axial arrangement of the filaments, however, initially predominantly radially.
  • a separate reflector is required in previous lamps in nodal technology, as for example in the reflector lamp in the already cited DE 101 46 877 A1 ,
  • the invention is particularly suitable for high-voltage (HV) halogen incandescent lamps that can be operated directly on the mains voltage.
  • HV high-voltage
  • the usually required for this multiple helical segments are essentially spanned in an imaginary plane perpendicular to the lamp longitudinal imaginary plane, for example in the form of a polygon open on one side, anyway so that the two inner power supply can be connected in a suitable mutual distance with the filament.
  • an incandescent filament having N helical segments is preferably spanned in the form of an N + 1-fold polygon open on the side of the two filaments of the filament.
  • the lamp vessel is preferably dish-shaped with an overall plan or slightly concave or convex end face for the Light emission.
  • the axial knobs extend from the end face to the filament to at least partially fix the latter.
  • the face is strictly speaking not completely flat but locally uneven due to the inverted nubs.
  • the end face in this case is nevertheless designated as a whole flat.
  • the number of typically required nubs depends on the length of the helix or on the number of helical segments. Preferably, one nub will be provided in each case between two adjacent spiral segments, and one nub each at the two power supply lines of the helix. If the number of helical segments is N, there are consequently N + 1 nubs.
  • N the number of helical segments
  • an unconverted or simply wound connecting section can be embedded or melted in between the spiral segments in the respective nub tip.
  • the filament is provided in the region of the knobs, each with a secondary winding, which holds the filament to the nubuck tips, possibly also in combination with the melting.
  • the filament can also be spanned as it were over the knobs, in which the filament is guided under train outside around the knobs around.
  • the knobs in particular in the region of the connection of the incandescent filament, may also partially overlap with the relatively close internal power supply leads for reasons of space.
  • the bowl-shaped lamp vessel preferably has a conical section tapering in the direction of the base, which is preferably provided with a reflective layer and thus acts as an optical reflector.
  • a conical section tapering in the direction of the base, which is preferably provided with a reflective layer and thus acts as an optical reflector.
  • the axial arrangement of the nubs on the end face of the lamp vessel has the advantage in this context that the reflector layer remains completely flat and therefore optically undisturbed, which benefits the uniformity of the axially emitted light distribution.
  • the lamp according to the invention with a lamp base formed from the material of the lamp vessel, usually glass, for example with a G9 socket or another socket type.
  • FIGS. 1a to 1d schematically showing a reflector lamp 1 according to the invention in a partially sectioned side view, a rotated by 90 ° partially sectioned side view, an end view and in a cross-sectional view along the line CC.
  • the reflector lamp 1 has a bowl-shaped lamp vessel 2 made of quartz glass with a diameter of about 20 mm, whose end face is closed with a substantially planar end face 3.
  • the lamp vessel 2 opens into a glass base 4 of the type G9, ie for mains voltage operation, which defines the lamp longitudinal axis L. From the glass base 4 protrude two loop-shaped curved outer power supply lines 5a, 5b.
  • two molybdenum foils 6a, 6b are pinched gas-tight. These are on the one hand connected to the external power supply lines 5a, 5b, on the other hand with internal power supply lines 7a, 7b.
  • the inner power supply lines 7a, 7b in turn terminate in an incandescent filament 8 which serves as a luminous element in lamp operation and has three filament segments 8a-8c.
  • the three filament segments 8a - 8c glowing in lamp operation are connected to one another via two uncoiled connecting sections and arranged in a rhombic manner in a plane perpendicular to the lamp longitudinal axis L, with the open side of the imaginary rhombus opening into the two inner power supply lines 7a, 7b.
  • the incandescent filament 8 is connected to the tips 9a-9d of a total of four nubs 10a-10d which are funnel-shaped inverted from the end face 3 into the lamp vessel 2.
  • an uncoiled piece of filament wire section is fused into the glass material of the corresponding nub tip 9a-9d at each of these four places.
  • suitably shaped mandrels at a correspondingly high temperature in the still soft glass material of the end face 3 of the lamp vessel 2 axially, ie parallel to the lamp longitudinal axis L such that the aforementioned coil wire sections penetrate a little bit in the still soft Noppenspitzen 9a - 9d can, preferably by the filament is virtually spanned from the outside circumferentially on the knobs to achieve the required tensile force.
  • the spiral carrier also serves as an abutment.
  • the filament can be connected by other aids or by form or force fit with the knobs.
  • the coil carrier can be removed and the reflector lamp can be closed in a gas-tight manner by means of conventional base pinching.
  • This is done expediently in a suitable pressure chamber.
  • the glass is heated by laser by coupling the laser beam through a suitable window into the pressure chamber.
  • the Sockelquetschung nor the filling gas is introduced into the pressure chamber, which is consequently trapped in the base vessel in the lamp vessel.
  • no pumping stems have to be applied to the end face 3, and consequently after the closure thereof, no pumping tip disturbs the spatial distribution of the light emitted by the end face 3.
  • the conical section of the outside of the lamp vessel 2 is provided with a light-reflecting metallic reflector layer 11. In this way, an extremely compact reflector lamp for mains voltage is achieved.
  • FIGS. 2a . 2 B are a partially sectioned side view and a rotated by 90 ° partially sectioned side view of a variant 12 of the in FIGS. 1a-1d shown reflector lamp shown schematically.
  • the same features are provided with the same reference numerals. The only difference is that in this variant, the end face 13th not plan but concavely curved.
  • the knobs 14a-14d are, as before, oriented axially, ie, parallel to the lamp longitudinal axis L.
