Claims (12)

  1. Identifying element for a first installation device (FI) to identify disassembly of the first installation device (FI) from a second installation device (LS) with
    - a base section (6), which can be attached to an outer wall of the first installation device (FI) and can be inserted into a recess (10) of the second installation device (LS) during assembly of the two installation devices, and
    - an identifying section (3), which is connected to the base section (6),
    characterised in that
    - the identifying section (3) is disposed on the base section (6) in such a manner that, when the identifying element is inserted into the recess of the second installation device during assembly of the two installation devices (FI, LS) to each other, it is separated at least partially from the base section (6) or is damaged.
  2. Identifying element according to claim 1, wherein the base section (6) is provided with a snap-action element (5), such that the identifying element can be snapped into a clearance on the first installation device (FI).
  3. Identifying element according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the identifying section (3) is attached to the base section (6) in the manner of a barb.
  4. Identifying element according to one of the preceding claims, wherein a breaking point (12) is disposed between the base section (6) and identifying section (3).
  5. Identifying element according to one of the preceding claims, wherein a projection (11) is attached to the base section (6), by way of which the identifying section (3) is rotated during separation.
  6. Identifying element according to one of the preceding claims, wherein at least one side face (7, 8, 9) is bevelled, in such a manner that it can be inserted more easily into the recess (10) of the second installation device (LS).
  7. Installation device with an identifying element (1) according to one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the housing of the installation device (FI) is connected as a single piece or is identical to the base section (6) of the identifying element.
  8. Installation device according to claim 7, configured as an error protection switching device.
  9. Method for identifying an assembly of a first installation device (FI) to a second installation device (LS) by
    - inserting an identifying element (1) according to claim 1, which is attached to the first installation device (FI), into a recess (10) of the second installation device (LS) during assembly of the two installation devices to each other,
    characterised in that
    - during insertion of the identifying element (1) into the recess (10), the identifying section is separated at least partially from the base section (6) or is damaged.
  10. Method according to claim 9, wherein the identifying element (1) has a section (3) in the form of a barb, which is separated from the identifying element (1) during assembly.
  11. Method according to claim 10, wherein the section (3) is rotated by way of a projection (11) on the identifying element (1) during separation.
  12. Method according to one of claims 9 to 11, wherein the identifying element (1) serves as a centring aid during assembly.
