Claims (7)
- A support arm drive (1) for a flap (4) of a cabinet, comprising:- a housing (10),- an actuating arm (2) which on the one hand is pivotally arranged on the housing (10) and on the other hand is to be connected to the flap (4),- at least one spring (11) arranged in the housing (10) for applying pressure to the actuating arm (2), wherein the actuating arm (2) is operable to pivot through a pivotal range limited by two end positions,- a damper (18) arranged in the housing (10) for cushioning the pivotal movement of the actuating arm (2),characterised in that- the damper (18) cushions the pivotal movement of the actuating arm (2) before the two end positions, wherein arranged between the two cushion regions there is provided a neutral region in which the movement of the actuating arm (2) is not influenced by the damper (18),- a slider (15) is provided which is linearly displaceable relative to the housing (10), wherein pivotally arranged on the slider (15) is a control element (7) with a control surface (9), wherein the control element (7) is hingedly connected to the actuating arm (2),- arranged in the housing (10) is a pressure component (12) which is linearly displaceable relative to the housing (10) and which is acted upon by the spring (11), wherein the pressure component (12) directly abuts onto the control surface (9) of the control element (7),- a first end of the damper (18), before the actuating arm (2) reaches the upper end position, is supported on a stop (17) which is stationarily arranged on the housing (10) and that the linearly displaceable slider (15) pushes onto a second end of the damper,- the second end of the damper (18), before the actuating arm (2) reaches the lower end position, is supported on the linearly displaceable slider (15) and that an abutment (19), which is arranged on the actuating arm (2), pushes onto the first end of the damper (18).
- A support arm drive (1) for a flap (4) of a cabinet, comprising:- a housing (10),- an actuating arm (2) which on the one hand is pivotally arranged on the housing (10) and on the other hand is to be connected to the flap (4),- at least one spring (11) arranged in the housing (10) for applying pressure to the actuating arm (2), wherein the actuating arm (2) is operable to pivot through a pivotal range limited by two end positions,- a damper (18) arranged in the housing (10) for cushioning the pivotal movement of the actuating arm (2),characterised in that- the damper (18) cushions the pivotal movement of the actuating arm (2) before the two end positions, wherein arranged between the two cushion regions there is provided a neutral region in which the movement of the actuating arm (2) is not influenced by the damper (18),- arranged in the housing (10) is a pressure component (12) which is movable relative to the housing (10) and which is acted upon by the spring (11), wherein a control element (7) with a control surface (9) is both pivotally and displacably arranged on the pressure component (12), namely by way of an axis (13) which projects through a longitudinal hole (14) arranged in the pressure component (12), wherein the control element (7) is hingedly connected to the actuating arm (2) and wherein the control surface (9) of the control element (7) abuts onto a height-displaceable supporting plate (21) of the pressure component (12),- a first end of the damper (18), before the actuating arm (2) reaches the upper end position, is supported on a stop (17) which is stationarily arranged on the housing (10) and wherein the movable pressure component (12) pushes onto a second end of the damper,- the second end of the damper (18), before the actuating arm (2) reaches the lower end position, is supported on the movable pressure component (12) and that an abutment (19), which is arranged on the actuating arm (2), pushes onto the first end of the damper (18).
- The support arm drive according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the damper (18) is designed as a fluid damper.
- The support arm drive according to claim 3, characterised in that the damper (18) is designed as a linear damper.
- The support arm drive according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the control surface (9) is designed as a convex curve which is arranged - in relation to the bearing of the actuating arm (2) - on a distal end of the control element (7).
- The support arm drive according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the support arm drive (1) is designed to be fitted either to a left-hand side wall or a right-hand side wall of an item of furniture.
- The support arm drive according to claim 6, characterised in that the support arm drive (1) has a covering cap attached to mutually-opposing flat sides of the support arm drive (1).
