Abstract

Both layers of hot-melt adhesive (7, 8) lie locally across the lining direction (E) and contact the polypropylene sheet water-barrier layer (2) over the entire length of the lining. There is a second fleece layer (14) on the opposite side to the first fleece layer (1). The adhesive layers (7, 8), have regions (11, 13; 10, 12) lying against the fleece layers (1, 14) and directly against the sheet layer (2). The regions (11, 13; 10, 12) make watertight bonds with each other.

Description

The invention relates to a multi-layer, at least one nonwoven layer and a water-barrier film layer having roof underlay, with adjacent edge regions each arranged on another broadside adhesive coatings to glue two adjacent tracks of the roof underlay in the overlapping area by juxtaposing the local adhesive layers of both webs together.

Such a roof underlay is known from the prior art.

The DE 102 01152 describes a roof underlay and discloses all the features of the preamble of claim 1. Adjacent roof underlays are to be glued together in the overlap region, each of which the coating of one of the two edges are brought to each other. As an adhesive coating, this document calls an adhesive adhesive coating.

From the DE 299 08 614 U1 is a vapor-permeable, vapor-damping film with two opposite broad sides on one of the edges extending adhesive strips known, the adhesive strips can be covered with a cover.

From the DE 198 23 419 respectively. DE 297 23 553 are known with foils coated insulation elements. The films have an adhesive coating on a supernatant edge. Thus, the insulation elements in the overlap region of these films can be adhesively bonded together.

The DE 297 22 893 U1 describes a underlay with a flat carrier and a bilateral bitumen and / or polymer bitumen coating. The flat carrier may be a nonwoven. An edge region of the upper side is formed cold self-adhesive. This cold self-adhesive edge area is provided with a release film cover. However, this release film cover should not be completely removable but only detachable from an inner longitudinal edge region. On the outer longitudinal edge region, the joint cover should form a reinforcement for the installation of the underlayment.

From the DE 299 08 614 U1 is a roof underlay in the form of a vapor barrier previously known.

Based on the above-mentioned prior art, the present invention seeks to improve the adhesive bondability of two parallel adjacent roof underlay sheets.

The object is achieved by the invention specified in the claims, each claim alone represents an independent solution to the problem and each claim can be combined with any other claim.

The claim 1 initially and essentially provides that the two adhesive layers lie in the transverse direction of the web extension at least in regions and over the entire length of the web continuously on the film layer. As a result of this embodiment, a waterproof bonding of two parallel running and adjacent underlays is possible. The laying of the underlays is preferably carried out on the rafters of a pitched roof from the eaves to the ridge. Railway way, the roof underlay is laid there parallel to the eaves or to the ridge, wherein the edge region of an already laid track glued to the edge region of an overlying track becomes. The bonding takes place by bringing the adhesive layers facing each other onto one another. Since the adhesive coating of both adhesive layers facing each other is applied directly to the film in each case, the two films of the over-adhered underlays are connected to one another only via the adhesive layer. There are no porous areas in the region of the bond through which water could seep through. The bond may also include areas of the web. However, due to the water-tightness of the adhesive layer, a watertight bonding of the two underlay webs extending parallel to each other is nevertheless ensured. In a development of the invention, it is provided that the roof underlay has a nonwoven layer on both sides of the film. The edges of the two nonwoven layers are spaced on the side of the adhesive coating by a certain distance from the edge of the film. The roof underlay thus has on the two opposite broad sides areas which are approximately diametrically opposed in which the adhesive coating is applied directly to the film. However, the adhesive coating may also have a region which extends beyond the fleece adjacent to the adhesive coating. In a further development of the invention, it is provided that the adhesive layer arranged on the broadside located in the installed state is spaced from the edge of the film by a distance. This distance, which indicates when laying the roof underlay to the ridge, can be used to nail the roof underlay on the rafters or other documents. In order to avoid fluttering, the adhesive layer of the broad side lying downwards in the installed state reaches as far as the edge of the film. This adhesive layer is then to stick to the upward-facing adhesive layer, wherein areas of this downwardly facing adhesive layer can also be adhered to the edge region. In a development of the invention, it is provided that the two adhesive layers are covered with a cover strip. The adhesive layers may consist of a hotmelt. The material of the two adhesive layers can be selected so that the adhesive layers develop their adhesive effect only when the two different adhesive layers are brought together. It is also possible to design the two adhesive layers in such a way that they have to be activated thermally or otherwise in order to bond to one another, wherein the adhesive bond is watertight. The film can be made of polypropylene.

The roof underlay sheet according to the invention can be applied directly to the rafters of a roof truss. It is then directly below the roof, so the brick. The web of the invention can also form a vapor barrier, the inside of an insulation on rafters or the like can be attached, similar to the DE 299 08 614 U1 describes.

The roof underlay sheet according to the invention is inexpensive to manufacture. The adhesive strips are integrated in the underlay membrane. The adhesive strips preferably consist of a moisture-resistant Kontakthotmelt. Both strips are placed on top of each other during laying and thus provide a watertight bonding of the underlayment in the overlap area without much pressure.

The gluing of two adjacent webs then has the result that the films of the two adjacent webs are glued directly to each other. Between the two film layers there is only a waterproof adhesive layer. This is the case on both sides of a film web. Since the waterproof film extends over the entire broadside, results from the ridge to the eaves a waterproof structure, since each film is glued directly to foil. Nevertheless, the overall structure has downwardly or upwardly facing nonwoven layers. It is essential that both adhesive layers, ie lie on both sides of the web on the same film layer.

The roof underlayment of the embodiment has a thin film consisting of polypropylene 2, which extends over the entire width of the roof underlay USB. The film 2 is windproof, waterproof, but able to pass water vapor. On its in the laying state down facing broadside 6, the film is provided except for an edge region 4 with a carrier fleece 1. Carrier web 1 and film 2 are intimately connected to each other surface. The support web 1 protrudes to the edge of the designated by the reference numeral 3 edge region.

On the upwardly facing broad side 5 of the film 2 is also a nonwoven. This cover fleece is designated by the reference numeral 14. It protrudes from the edge of the designated by the reference numeral 4 edge region on the opposite non-woven 1 broad side of the film 2 and is connected to this area. It ends at a distance 9, 10 from the edge of the edge area designated by the reference numeral 3.

The downwardly facing edge region 4 is provided with an adhesive layer 8. This adhesive layer 8 extends over a region 12 directly over the film 2 and with an adjoining edge region 13 over the edge of the carrier web 1.

On the other broad side 5 but at the other, opposite edge region 3, a second adhesive layer 7 is provided. While the adhesive layer 8 extends to the marginal edge of the film 2, the edge of the adhesive layer 7 has a distance 9 from the edge of the film 2, so that there is a film edge portion not provided with an adhesive layer.

Ein sich daran anschließender Bereich 11 überdeckt den Rand des Deckvlieses 14.Like the adhesive layer 8, the adhesive layer 7 extends in a region 10 directly resting on the film 2. An adjoining region 11 covers the edge of the cover fleece 14th

In the drawings, the material thickness of the film 2, the support web 1 and the cover fleece 14 is exaggerated strong.

The area 9, over which the film 2 is exposed and which runs along the marginal edge of the film 2 and along the peripheral edge of the adhesive layer 7, is approximately 40 mm wide. The immediately adjoining edge region 10 is about 50 mm and the portion 11, with which the adhesive layer 7 rests on the cover fleece, is about 20 mm wide.

Also, the portion 13, with which the adhesive layer 8 rests on the edge region of the support web 1, is about 20 mm wide. The area with which the adhesive layer 8 rests directly on the film 2 is about 50 mm wide.

Ihre Ränder überragen die Ränder der Klebeschichten 7, 8.Like from the FIG. 2 shows, the two are substantially diametrically opposite adhesive layers 7, 8 each with a cover strip 15, 16 provided. The cover strips are made of waxed or at least passivated or siliconized material so that they adhere reversibly to the adhesive layer 7, 8 and cover them substantially only protectively. Their edges project beyond the edges of the adhesive layers 7, 8.

Again FIG. 1 can be seen, extend the adhesive layers 7, 8 in the direction of extension E of the roof underlay USB. They run parallel to each other over the entire length of the roof underlay.

The adhesive layers 7, 8 may consist of identical material. The adhesive layers 7, 8 preferably consist of a hotmelt material. It may be a moisture-resistant contact hotmelt. It is also possible to produce the adhesive layers 7, 8 from materials which are different from one another and unfold an adhesive effect when they are brought into contact with one another.

The FIG. 3 shows a laying example of three roof underlays USB1, USB2 and USB3, which are of identical shape parallel to each other, but with deviating in detail adhesive joint V1, V2 laid.

The adhesive connection V1 between the roof underlay membrane USB1 and the roof underlay membrane USB2 takes place by directly attaching the adhesive layer 8 of the USB1 and the adhesive layer 7 of the USB2, wherein the sections 10, 12 of the two adhesive layers 7, 8 are brought together in such a way that between the two films 2 of two underlays USB1, USB2 only an adhesive layer 7, 8 is arranged. This adhesive layer is formed by the two adjoining adhesive layers 7, 8 of the two roof underlay strips USB1 and USB2. The section 11 of the upward-facing adhesive layer 7 of the roof underlay 2 can be exposed in this case. The not provided with an adhesive layer portion 9 of the facing up Broadside 5 of the roof underlay USB2 is not or only partially adhesively bonded to the overlying roof underlay USB1.

The adhesive connection V2 between the roof underlay membrane USB2 and the roof underlay membrane USB3 is nuanced differently. The section 13 of the downwardly facing adhesive layer 8 of the USB2 is glued directly to the upwardly facing portion 10 of the upward-facing adhesive layer 7 of the underlay 2. The area of the downwardly facing adhesive layer of the USB2 indicated by the reference numeral 12 is glued on the upwardly facing portion 11 of the adhesive coating 7 of the roof underlay USB3. In this case, the waterproof connection is not guaranteed by a double adhesive coating between two films 2, but by the waterproofness of the adhesive coatings as such. The adhesive layers 7, 8 lie flat against each other, wherein in each case a portion of each adhesive layer lies directly on the film.
