  • a fabric for paper machines which is constructed completely or at least substantially of sheet layers laminated to one another on a flat surface, the film layers each assuming specific tasks in the clothing.
  • the invention is based on the consideration of reducing the manufacturing costs of coverings for paper, board or tissue machines by standardizing the manufacturing process for the entire product range of paper machine clothing.
  • the fabric according to the invention for paper, board or tissue machines is composed of a plurality of web-shaped material layers of a prefabricated building block of web-like material layers, wherein the individual web-like material layers are selected depending on the type and conditions of use of the fabric from the kit, and wherein the web-like material layers stacked on each other and at least partially flat and permanently connected to each other, wherein at least two web-shaped material layers are interconnected by a bonding medium and wherein the bonding medium forms a foamed material layer between the interconnected material layers.
  • a covering is proposed in which a kit of prefabricated material layers is provided.
  • a kit of prefabricated material layers for the entire range of paper machine clothing and by selecting prefabricated web-shaped material layers from the kit, depending on the type and conditions of use of the fabric, the number of different material layers such as weave structures is significantly reduced.

  • An above-mentioned film can be produced, for example, by an extrusion method and / or a rolling method.
  • a first material layer of a fabric according to the invention may be mechanically bonded to a second material layer and the second material layer may be chemically bonded to a third material layer.
  • the third material layer may be connected to a fourth material layer of this fabric by a textile connection method, wherein the fourth material layer is mechanically and chemically bonded to a fifth material layer.
  • the chemical compound is realized by a surface-active compound.
  • a surface-active compound in this context means a compound by vulcanization or fusion or welding, for example ultrasonic welding. That is, the boundary surfaces of the two material layers to be joined together are shaped changes / activates that they connect with each other without a connection medium.
  • connection medium may, for example, be an adhesive.
  • the material layers are connected to one another by a textile connection method, it is possible to sew these together or to need to need to be needled together.
  • the fabric forms two shape and functionally complementary end portions which are connected to each other surface, so that the fabric is formed in the form of an endless belt.
  • the flat connection between the two Endabachitesen is particularly stable and durable.
  • the fabric is constructed in the width of a plurality of juxtaposed layers of material, it is also useful if the stacked material layers are at least partially offset from one another transversely to the machine direction, so that above and / or below each other arranged material layers of a particular layer of the fabric each have a layer of material is stacked, which overlaps with two juxtaposed layers of material.
